The owner, Shawn, and desk staff are friendly and helpful; always happy to answer questions about levels, styles, and instructors. My go to is Arianna Hyatt. She teaches well rounded true to level classes (read the class description and know thyself). She motivates and encourages dancers to meet their goals, whether that is fun, fitness, training for an audition, getting back to dance after a hiatus, or perhaps all of the above. She provides a supportive environment while offering technique, structure, and a little challenge - if that is what you're after. The community she's cultivated within every class is palpable. If you're a beginning/intermediate or advanced level dancer, looking for ballet, broadway, or tap, definitely check the schedule for her. (Double check the level as she teaches a variety.) If you're on the fence, I'd say find any class that interests you at the studio and give it a try!

Current format is more broken down steps, on repeat, then more added to one song. Basically, you're learning a choreography. It's kind of challenging for me. Makes my brain and body work a bit harder to be in sync. There's also an abs section. I do love the new format, but I personally like the nonstop hip hop dance better just because I like nonstop cardio! LOL They offer a lot of classes & the owner is nice, mellow, yet fun personality. She always makes it a point to say our names/greet us. Appreciate that gesture!

I paid for 1 month, my daughter never received a class because they were completely disorganized and couldn't communicate with the students efficiently. So after two tries to take the class, my daughter was turned off and didn't want to take ANY class. I contacted JR and kindly asked for a refund. She text back, let me give her a private lesson or come again on Sunday. I said my daughter is no longer interested, please give me a refund. Then no response, she ghosted me!! STOLE MY MONEY $210. She provided zero services and never responded to my request for refund. If I can save one family from being scammed, my work is done.

I do not recommend this business! Coach & Owner Jenee Rubinstein and her employees are all very talented highly experienced dancers. I want to believe the employees are naive to how JR conducts the business side. Which is terrible. Her pricing is inconsistent from what she advertises. She has no call no shows. She is unorganized, unreliable & has poor communication. I do not recommend this business. Coach JR either doesn't deliver the goods at all or delivers a completely different item or service than agreed upon. Just taking weekly dance classes was fine for us with no issue, (See below the old review when we were just taking classes) but when a planned dance event came up, she did a bait and switch scam. I will never pay a business again through Venmo or Zelle, if I do not receive the goods or service immediately. The $100 solid hip hop Tshirt which was supposed to be a a jersey for solid hip hop's most recent event is still hanging in my Daughters's closet and will stay there as a reminder of that.

Both my girls absolutely love coming to their dance classes, performing in recitals, and making new friends! My son also loves to go with his sisters to Miss Tawny's movie nights, and to play in the playroom. All of the dance instructors are super patient and knowledge about the style of dance they are teaching. We love All Star Dance Academy and will continue there for many years!

The studio culture at KRD is incredibly welcoming, and I have made lifelong friends while attending classes. The instruction at KRD can only be described as caring and artistic. The instructors have a deep respect for individual expression and growth. Encouragement is constant, and every class feels intentionally structured to challenge you while still being enjoyable. She loved it at first, but like any toddlers, they lose interest right away. Then we stopped... then at 4.5, school was over, and she wanted to go back to ballet. I checked here and everywhere else, and once again, this worked around my schedule. My little one loves it! She gets super excited going. She loves all the dance teachers here. As a mom, I appreciate this studio because the studio follows the Cechetti method and focuses on performances instead of competitions. The end of the year performances, as well as the performing group shows, are very high quality. As with all things though, the studio, the kids and the parents are not perfect. Each situation is so different. However, as you can see by Miss Kimberly's responses to the reviews, she is very professional and cares deeply about the studio and especially the kids. This review is long overdue but ha left a lasting impression…read more Enrolled our son through hb sands for dance at Murdy park (age group 3-5) it was our child's first time. He wasn't never left alone (especially with new people : strangers before but we left him there as we were told to wait outside) minutes later, we were told to come in and received a big hug. When he recognized a song, he went back to the dance floor and danced around the kids. The instructor didn't like that and at one point even said he was distracting the other kids (as he wasn't on his colored marked circle space) For a child in the spectrum, this is hard to do. They proceeded with the program NOT including him. I felt so bad for our son that i had tears in my eyes even now as Im typing this. Every child deserves to be seen heard and they WANT to be included. They just beed more TIME AND PATIENCE than neurotypical kids.
