Roomy activity room. Perfect for pre and post stretching, yoga, personal dumbbell workouts or dance.

My absolute favorite place to be next to home. I've been a member since November 2020, and I don't regret a single thing. Best thing for 24 hour fitness to do was change hours and be overcrowded because I would have never found Coast Fitness. The vibe is different. You can tell that people here truly care about their fitness goals. No one's hogging the machines or just talking without action. Everyone I've encountered have been cordial for the most part. I love that there are always machines , dumbbells and space to complete my workout. There's a laundry mat next door which I frequent weekly. Clean, convenient and lots of machines. Overall, if you're about your fitness and want to get out of an overcrowded gym. Coast is IT!

Once upon a time, before the pandemic of 2020, finding a 24-hour gym was an easy endeavor. But the post-covid world is a different beast. When my old gym, ironically named 24-hour fitness, no longer operated as its name suggested, that was my sign to find another gym. I was through a colleague that I found this gym. Sitting on what was once a Bally's, this gym is open 24-hours on most days of the year. Signing up was quick and easy, and the convenience is more than worth it. The gym is very well stocked, and thankfully I never have to wait for any bench or equipment that I need. The place is kept in decent shape, and staffed with friendly workers. The other patrons are decent people, most are fellow gym rats who practice good etiquette. No one is doing 21's in the squat rack, thankfully. I've never encountered any bad characters here. There is a juice bar on site, although that independent business does not operate 24-hours. Even still, I am able to catch them most of the time post-workout. For more info on them, check out my recent review on Nublends. This gym shares a parking lot with the neighboring business, Coast Laundy, which I'm assuming is by the same owner. Finding a spot is never an issue here. This gym does its job well, far better than most national chain gyms that drastically cut their hours, locations, staff, and quality. Keep up the good work.

Everything went well. It was my first time trying out the gym with a friend, and since it's pricier than my la fitness I was expecting great results, and I was proven right. Great variety of equipment, dumbbells, cardio, legs, arms, everything. There is also an outside workout area, with equipment for some things but not too much, it was perfect! The only thing would probably the wipes to clean the machine or seat after working out. I couldn't find it, and they ran out from one dispenser.

    Workout time!

Coast fitness is as advertised! This gym is amazing and has everything a weightlifter needs. The gym was busy but me and my cousin was able to use the equipment without waiting. Everyone at this gym is serious so no one was sitting on there phone holding up space. I definitely will be back to work out!

    How many Squat racks?

at least 6 inside and 2-4 outside

Do I have to pay for a partner to come along or can I scan them in for free?

You can bring a partner if it's their first time.

Do they still have childcare and if so what time?

    No childcare.

I am going to be in the area for a week. Can I get a weeklong gym pass here?

    Only a day pass

Do they have stair master machines?

    Yes

Is there a sauna/ steam room?

    yes

Is there showers? And is it open?

    Yes to both

How are they able to continue indoor workouts while all other gyms are currently closed?

Good question? I wonder the same.

How crowded does it typically get from 7am-10am for the weight areas? Are classes easy for beginners? Or is it hard to enjoy classes if you've never done them before?…

From 7 AM to 10 AM it is not that crowded to me. there are frequent people and there is a group that huddles in the weight are but they do not occupy all of the weight machines/ free weights/ weight stations. 2. no. it depends on the trainer. they…

Do they have somewhere to shower?

    Yes, big area and clean

The website schedule shows that the Smash class requires an upgrade fee. Does anyone know how much that would be?

No! but why did my membership cost jump up unexpectedly?

Do they offer personal training and what are the costs for that? I can't find any info about it on the site.

We have 15 Excellent and Certified Trainers who are independent. They will offer you a complimentary session and please call me with any questions.…

Is Month to month ? Without contract?

I believe you can sign up for the month to month, but it is cheaper when you sign up for a year or more. See the link below:…

Does this gym offer different classes?

Absolutely. They have a variety of actual and virtual classes. Some require an additional monthly fee, but the fee I pay is minimal. There are morning, evening and weekend classes for all levels and Silver Sneakers at midday.

Is there towel service or do you have to bring your own towels?

    Bring your own.

How much to come in just for the day?

I believe is $20 or $25? Saw they posted but maybe change

Is there electric parking somewhere close?

    I have not seen any.

Does this gym still offer childcare? Yes, I will call and ask...if I don't forget...being a young mommy does that to you.

Yes they do, but not sure of the prices. Maybe they are posted on their website.

Hi how many hydra beds? Is the sauna and Jacuzzi coed? Is there a steam room? Thank you

There are 2 Hydro Beds in the club. The Hydro Spa is coed. The original steam room was replaced with another sauna for women only.

What are the prices? Website doesn't say and I don't want to be in a lengthy presentation where they are pushing to sell me the most expensive option first.

The highest price for the gym is 54.95 for use of "all" equipment, and thats because i wanted to be able to quit any time with no contract obligations. I think its only 49.95 for "all" use with contract.

I've gone at the wee hours of the night where there's not a lot of people, so there's more parking out in the front. I will say that the section where there's bikes, treadmills, and the pool area is much cooler than the side that has the weights an the basketball court. It's a big difference in the way it feels as if there's little to no air conditioning on the weights side. It feels very musky and difficult for one to really exercise in. Personally, it seemed like it's a clean gym. I've seen a worker even cleaning the vents up top which is much cleaner than my actual gym that I go to which is EOS. So I thought that was a plus. And the women's bathrooms is always on top of it, or at least from what I saw. I liked that this gym has a little daycare place that you can drop off your kids for a maximum of two hours. Not sure the rates, but it seems like a good deal for anyone who needs their kids watched while working out. I've taken two Zumba classes in the rooms and I absolutely loved the fact that the dance room is large. It gives people enough space to move around without feeling like you are in their space. I've worked out at 24 Hour Fitness, Gold's Gym, EOS fitness, and the problem with those gyms is that the classes are just too small. With that said, the only thing is that sometimes the instructors are talking to their fellow dancers (in Spanish) in front of everyone. I'm okay with it cause I love my Latinos, but I can see where someone might feel excluded or may not understand. Which was okay with me but something I just noticed. Parking isn't bad when I came late in the evenings, but during peak hours, it was rough. A lot of people were parking on the red zones or places that I don't think you can normally park. Sometimes across the street or a bit farther down where Best Buy is. I didn't get a chance to park in the parking structure but it also seems very inconvenient for some. My two cents for this place. Not bad, but also not the greatest. But I feel that you'll have to pay more for a better experience. This is, to me, good enough for what the rate of this gym goes for.

One of the owners Gus is pretty amazing at fixing things so you will never really see a machine out of order for any longer than a few short days. Systems training center camp review:…read more Our kids had an amazing experience at Systems Training Center Summer Camp! Every week brought a new theme that kept them excited to come back--from movie making and engineering challenges to building a utopian city and exploring cultures from around the world through food, dances, and traditions. The camp does a great job balancing indoor activities with fun walks outside, giving the kids plenty of opportunities to stay active while learning. More than anything, it's a safe, encouraging environment where kids can be loud, get messy, make mistakes, learn from them, and build confidence and independence along the way. The staff truly cares about the kids, and you can see it in everything they do. If you're looking for a summer camp that's fun, creative, educational, and helps your child grow, I highly recommend Systems Training Center. It's a place every parent should consider!

Important note: This review pertains specifically to the Systems Training Center Summer Camp, not…read morethe dojo's regular martial arts instruction. My son attended the summer camp/day program only and was not enrolled as a regular martial arts student. I enrolled my son hoping for a fun, safe, and well-supervised summer experience. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and I would not enroll him again. The camp often felt disorganized and seemed to operate without much advance planning. Activities appeared to change from day to day, and there was little evidence of a structured program. The first warning sign came during my son's first week. After only a few days, he came home, burst into tears, sobbed in my arms for more than ten minutes, and begged me not to make him return. He described the environment as "overwhelming" and "overstimulating" because of the constant screaming, yelling, and disruptive behavior from some campers. Those concerns continued throughout the summer. To be clear, I understand children sometimes struggle with emotional regulation and behavior. My concern is not that children are expected to be perfect. My concern is that I expect adults supervising a children's camp to appropriately manage disruptive or aggressive behavior, protect all campers, and provide an environment where children feel safe. Based on both what I observed and what my son consistently reported, I did not feel that happened. For example, my son reported that one camper became upset during a game, ran at him while screaming, and grabbed at his clothing. He also reported this was not an isolated incident but part of a pattern of repeated screaming, tantrums, and disruptive behavior from this camper and another camper that made him increasingly uncomfortable attending camp. My biggest concerns, however, involved supervision and safety outside the dojo. My son reported that counselors took campers on neighborhood "ninja walks" and encouraged them to practice parkour on nearby structures, including climbing a structural wall at a neighboring apartment complex using decorative rocks as footholds. He also reported a counselor challenged the children about who was "brave enough" to jump from what he estimated was a very high wall into an enclosed area below. My son declined to participate because he felt uncomfortable and became so distressed that he cried. What surprised me most was that I was never informed campers would routinely leave the dojo for these neighborhood activities. Nothing in the written materials or waiver explained that campers would be practicing parkour throughout the surrounding neighborhood. The paperwork states parents would receive advance notice of field trips. In my opinion, taking campers outside the dojo and throughout the neighborhood constitutes an off-site activity that parents should be informed about beforehand. When I later spoke with the camp director, she confirmed that these neighborhood "ninja walks" are a regular part of camp and stated they have permission from neighboring property owners to use parking lots, areas between buildings, and other structures. That was the first time I had heard that explanation. She also said part of the camp's philosophy is "stretching the kids to their limits." While I support helping children build confidence and resilience, I believe those challenges should occur in a carefully supervised environment with clear communication to parents. I also had concerns about security. During the entire camp session, I was never asked to show identification when picking up my son. On multiple occasions, counselors were on their phones when I entered the dojo and did not even look up to acknowledge who had come through the door. The surrounding neighborhood also concerned me. During drop-off and pick-up, I observed several individuals who appeared homeless and/or intoxicated. One individual in particular was dirty, disheveled, and wearing torn, soiled clothing. I watched him stand outside the dojo for several minutes with his face pressed against the glass doors and his hands cupped around his eyes so he could look inside and watch the children. Learning that campers were routinely taken on walks through this same neighborhood only increased my concern. When I discussed these issues with the director, I did not feel my concerns about supervision, behavior management, communication with parents, or safety were meaningfully addressed. Every family has different expectations, and some children may have a wonderful experience here. This review simply reflects ours. I was looking for a camp with consistent supervision, proactive communication, thoughtful behavior management, and strong safety practices. Based on what I personally observed and what my son consistently reported, I do not feel this summer camp met those expectations, and I would not enroll him again.
