Not only did Thomas offer to drain the pool, fix the plaster spots, and pay the costs associated with the water company, he personally took time out of his busy day to check the entire pool to see if there were any more spots on the plaster that were defective, there was, and again fixed at no charge. We had and above ground pool and were rushing to find a tech to service and this company popped up and their main point was that they were ready to get pools ready for 4th of July. They sent a tech out who was kind, but clearly very young. I had asked him to text me when he was on his way and never heard a thing. I had noticed the pool seemed not only dirtier, but I could not smell a hint of chlorine. I asked what was added via text and received unprofessional texts and then the tech showed up a few days later demanding payment and saying he was there to test the water. I asked who his boss was and he gave me a name, so I called the number linked to this yelp page assuming it was him. Nope! I had conversation with Brad who claimed he had no idea who this company was and who the 2 people that showed up were, but referred to them as "two little mexican guys". I sent the video of the tech at our door at 9 am demanding payment and saying he was going to go test the water and asked where I could send some sort of payment for time and energy from the techs who did come out - radio silence. I followed back up yesterday and Brad swore up and down he had no idea who the company was or who came to my home. Suddenly, I mention messages from Tyler. All of a sudden he knows who Tyler is. I asked him his relation to Tyler and silence. I told him others in my area had been visited by them and scammed - water dirtier than before and no chemicals added. I wanted to avoid writing a bad review and as soon as I told him that, he BEGGED me not to write a bad review. Suddenly, he's buddy buddy with Tyler and told him he was going to reach out and tell me what happened. Never got a call. I asked Tyler if this was his only business and he said yes. I found out from someone that this isn't even a legit business and Tyler just hires a bunch of random people to send out to "clean pools". So Tyler was straight out lying! In conclusion: Im 99% sure this company is a legitimate SCAM. Avoid it at all costs and make sure you let everyone you know with a pool, to avoid them as well. We like our backyard a lot--the plants have filled in beautifully and the overall look is very lush. * Most things have held up with little wear after a year, aside from a few broken sand-set pavers. * The whole yard photographs really well. * I've referred them to two friends- one finished his project in July. The bad * Our backyard doesn't appear to have been graded correctly before the rear fence went in. It's not very noticeable, but it was mentioned to me by the job-site manager's son. There's no drainage issues, just unusual info. * The job-site manager--whom we liked--was caught taking papayas from our neighbor (he even used a ladder). We were told he was removed from the project, but he later returned intermittently, so we mostly operated with a sometimes-manager. * We paid for a lemon tree, but that season's trees were diseased--we still don't have our lemon tree. * The pool looks great except for three issues: one jet was cut oddly and protrudes; a light isn't centered; and some grout added later is a noticeably brighter white than the rest. * the mini fridge was installed and the space for the door is not large enough. Because we have cameras, it was easy to cross-check whether someone had actually come by. At times I was told a visit or fix happened when it hadn't. My wife had similar conversations. * When I referred a friend (a large project), I was told I'd receive a $1,000 referral payment upon signing--very generous and not expected. When I checked in, it became payable at project completion. I just received it, and it was half--$500. I was also told the check had been made earlier, but it was dated the day it was delivered.
