I had been a loyal customer of this appliance store and trusted their guidance when purchasing a…read morenew dryer. I was very clear with the salesperson about my household needs--we do a significant amount of laundry, and I needed something that could keep up. I was assured that the model I purchased would have the same functionality as my previous dryer, just without some of the "extra" features. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. From day one, the dryer has not performed properly. Sometimes it stops mid-cycle, and other times it continues running for hours even when the clothes are already dry. I called the very next day after installation to express my concerns, and instead of addressing the mismatch in product recommendation, I was routed through a warranty service process. When the repair technician came out, I was told that this dryer does not have moisture sensors like my previous one--meaning it cannot innately function as my previous dryer did. This is a fundamental difference in functionality and directly contradicts what I was told at the time of purchase. Had I been given accurate information, I would not have chosen this model. Our vent leads through the roof so while this int always ideal it was never an issue with the old dryer. I told the sales associate (Joe) about this when we were shopping. They are now blaming this issue on where the heat vent leads and are glazing over the fact that this dryer does not have the same capability is my last dryer. To make matters worse, I was also informed--for the first time--that I could be charged for the service visit if no issue was found. This was never disclosed to me in advance. The only reason I was not charged is because the brand-new dryer was delivered with a dent, which is unacceptable in itself. I do try to shop local when possible but had I gone to a big box store I would have been able to return the dryer the next day and chosen something more suitable for my family. At this point, I feel completely misled. I relied on the expertise of the sales team, and instead ended up with a product that does not meet my needs and information that was either incomplete or incorrect. This experience has significantly impacted my trust in a store I have purchased from numerous times before.

A rep, Cliff, from SnowBrothers came out on 10/1 to fix a loose hose and did a great job. Since 10/4, however, the washer will not drain. We have had a drum full of water (with clothes molding inside) since 10/4 (6 days). The outsourced repair team canceled their service call due to illness and we have been placed on a cancellation list. The EARLIEST we will get serviced is Monday, 10/13 UNLESS someone else cancels their service call! This is insane. And Corey and Amy from SnowBrothers indicated the company won't replace the machine until we've had 2 service calls. And we haven't even had ONE! Now, I'm headed to a laundromat after spending $1300 on a washer! Unbelievable. The customer service at SnowBrothers is a notch below a big box store. Think twice before making the leap. We've purchased an oven and dishwasher from SnowBrothers and this negative experience has truly made us reconsider our loyalty. It's a lot of money to spend without the customer service SnowBrothers is supposed to be known for providing its customers.

AVOID MR. APPLIANCE! Trust the Yelp Reviews! Unfortunately, I called Mr. Appliance Cleveland to…read morerepair my refrigerator starter and capacitor... which based on research I understood to actually be a simple DIY for anyone not afraid to open the panel on the back of the fridge... but I wouldn't dare...and also aware that the parts were very inexpensive, I figured if it was that simple, it shouldn't cost much and took a chance with "neighborly" Mr. Appliance Cleveland because reviews, their website and friendly staff made me feel safe that I wouldn't get gouged. Wrong. The tech spent 10 minutes behind the fridge on the phone with Frigidaire to diagnose then gave me an electronic invoice for $260 labor for a job that takes less than 30 minutes and $247.80 for parts that were $130 in total online for the most expensive OAM parts (they were much cheaper on Amazon, but for the purpose of my discontentment, I'm sharing the most expensive costs I could find at any retailer). Because I decided to decline after questioning the invoice details, I was on the hook for $199 diagnostic fee + $20 restocking fee for the parts. Naturally, I don't want to give them $220 for a 10 minute visit, and I need the repair but don't have time for additional research to find a more honest company at this point, so I will pay them to do the work, but will NEVER refer anyone or use that business again. Read the Yelp reviews and you will find that my experience is not unusual. Correction. The charge was $548 and the technician was there for 10 minutes.

We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. (Sears' job was to be "As-is" for an older-ish appliance in excellent condition.) We're grateful, Daniil -

Horribly Rude and Unprofessional…read more They dont deserve 1 star. The techs lost 1/of the screws to the bottom piece of my oven. First they said they put both screws back in the oven then they came back and lied stating there was only 1/screw there to begin with, which was a lie because my oven has never been serviced. All the original pieces and hardware were still in place before they came. The tech went even further to say that the screw wasnt needed as they were only placed in there for shipping purposes. Now every time I turn the oven on the left side pops up and makes a dreadful noise. It gets even worse, the tech wrote out a receipt on a sheet of notebook paper stating there was a 60/day warranty, but he wrote April 3, 2019 as the date when the service was done April 3, 2020, which I'm sure was no mishap. When I questioned about the receipt he assured me that "HIS NAME ALONE WAS WORTH MORE THAN MY BILL" so I had nothing to worry about. After turning my oven on to cook dinner that night and hearing the awful noise and seeing the bottom of the oven popped up on 1 side, I called and spoke to the owner because I was so disappointed with my experience. He assured me that he would have the hardware replaced the next day as he didnt want to tarnish his company's name over a screw, but just as expected I haven't heard anything back from him since that day. No professionalism or business integrity at all. If they're willing to lie about a screw there's no telling what else they're capable of. You have been warned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY with this company they will leave you feeling upset and taken advantage of.

I should of know right than he was not to be trust. He came to fix a refrrigerator door that wouldnt close. He was in the unit least than 5 minutes and wanted 130.00 dollars. When i hired him he told me his service fee was only $95.00 and it the repair was under that it would only cost $95.00. When I asked him why the price went up because he did not have to purchase any parts or take the door off. He said I need to make money too. He was also working on a stove in another unit. He told me the oven ignition light, which didnt make sense because stove was still working. He told me the part was going to cost $ 50.00. I told him I want to see the receipt for the part he purchase. He said he doesnt provide that. I asked how do I know the part actual cost that amount. He said that is what I am charges you for it. I am not going to go back and forth on my prices. I explained I am not trying to go back and forth but most parts have a warrenty on them when you buy them new. Plus I need to accounting purposes. I would never recommend anyone using this company. I am filling a compliant with BBB and also seeing how many other people he has tried to over charges for parts.

I waited over 7 hours for an order update. After seven hours I didn't even want the items and called corporate to cancel. During 7 hours there was no order update whatsoever. Not even one of my ten purchased items was in the right bay which extended my time here. There was zero help on the store floor as always. Almost every aisle was obstructed with ladders or other equipment on a busy day - Sunday. I then had unfortunate interactions with staff. One associate rudely told me to go to checkout and not returns with so much zest. Another associate at checkout told me to put the items down in my cart and not hold them with so much hatred in her voice. I was very surprised. I'm overall appalled at every experience at this store. Store is unkempt. Customer service culture is rude. I've firmly decided to go to another retailer next time.
