We paid $500 to hire Marlon Page for a pre-listing inspection on our exceptionally well-maintained, pristine home. Not only did we get an incredibly poor, padded report, but he also sold our private phone numbers and email addresses to third-party home security companies. Immediately after the inspection, our phones and email inboxes were completely overwhelmed by aggressive salespeople trying to sell us alarm systems--despite the fact that we already have a professionally installed ADT system. Selling client data is an egregious violation of privacy and completely unethical. As for the actual $500 inspection, it was a joke. Instead of a meaningful assessment, Marlon focused entirely on irrelevant, nonsensical filler just to "pad" the report. For example, he flagged a dirty HVAC filter as an issue, completely ignoring the fact that we told him directly that we replace our filters regularly every 2 to 3 months. He also flagged a "missing stopper" in our kitchen, failing to recognize that we have high-quality, updated modern kitchen strainers designed to trap debris. He even cluttered the report with petty complaints like a bathroom door that didn't click perfectly shut.Between the absolute filler in the report and the violation of our data privacy, using Home Inspection Pros was an awful experience. He did a massive disservice and left us fighting off aggressive telemarketers. Avoid this company and Marlon Page at all costs.

I do not recommend this complex. When I first moved in, I was excited. The building looked nice during the tour and the leasing office staff were friendly and very communicative. Unfortunately, it did not take long after moving in to realize that the experience did not match the initial impression. One of the biggest issues was the cleanliness of the building. The hallway that leads from the leasing office to the model unit does not reflect the actual condition of the rest of the building. The floors throughout the residential hallways were frequently dirty, with urine, food, paint residue, and trash left in common areas. At one point I even found a used condom in the elevator. I reported this to management and provided photos of the trash and unsanitary conditions, but the issues continued without noticeable improvement. Pet owners should also be aware that there is very limited space to walk your dog. During the tour, ask to see the "trail" where dogs are supposed to be walked. It is essentially a narrow strip of road behind the building near the train tracks. Many times it was filled with dog waste, making it very unpleasant and stressful for pets to use. When residents brought this up to management, the response was that there was little they could do other than occasionally have landscapers place hay over the area. Another major issue during my lease was the fire alarm system. The alarms went off multiple times in the middle of the night, forcing residents to evacuate the building. On one occasion the alarm went off for more than three hours and even the fire department had difficulty stopping it. Management later said it was caused by a leak in the building, but there was very little communication or concern shown for residents who had to wait outside in the cold and rain, many with children and pets. Parking can also be inconvenient for guests. Visitors staying longer than three days are required to pay for parking. Otherwise they must park in the uncovered public area outside the deck near the restaurants, which is not secured. My final concern is related to package security and management response. Around the Christmas/New Year period, a package belonging to my partner was stolen. We later discovered that the package had been moved by management from its original delivery location in the mail room (where cameras operate) to the package room floor, even though there is a sign stating that packages should not be placed there. During the investigation we were also informed that the cameras in the package room were not functioning, leaving residents with no way to identify what happened. The situation eventually involved a police report, but management stopped communicating with us about the issue. As residents who paid rent on time and did not cause issues, the lack of accountability and follow-through from management was extremely disappointing. After not getting help from the onsite team, I reached out to corporate and spoke with the regional manager, Leslie Thaxton, but unfortunately the response was no better. Overall, while the building may appear appealing during the tour, my experience as a resident was very different. I encourage anyone considering living here to ask detailed questions, tour the entire property, and speak with current residents before signing a lease.

The report was delivered to us and Nationwide has forced us to take some actions - some legit, a few were at best dubious. Those that were dubious were also documented in at best, an ambiguous way - not specific. As well, Nationwide has "moved the goal posts" on us multiple times. The Cornerstone inspector claimed railings were required when the "porch" or "deck" were 24" off the ground. Nationwide insisted we put up railings - "Code" requires railings at 30". The inspector did NOT measure those locations - nor provide any detail. I would certainly choose Cornerstone to do my pre-sale inspection where likely I could pay the guy to say anything I wanted.

I have never truly regretted making a decision especially one that pertains to my shelter. You'd think with paying close to $2000 a month, the level of service and just the overall interaction with the management staff would be better. I should've known when I initially moved in that I'd have problems here. A friend of mine moved here a few months prior and felt that things could be better only after I had made the decision to move into the apartment community was that expressed to me. I have added the pictures to better explain and give a visual of my current situation. This is one of many incidents that have taken place since I moved into the apartment community. Just to briefly give a summary of my experience upon moving in I was never walked through my apartment I was literally handed the keys and a folder with paperwork. I had to ask for them to send me the link to pay my rent for the first time because it was never explained. Well it was never sent and they also added a late fee although I had asked an hour before the late fee was added. That's the first situation and I've experienced multiple. A water incident back in July, multiple maintenance situations, my guest was harassed and held up at the gate by a resident and the management condoned it right in front of me and made an excuse even, a break in occurred in November and my glass was broken out of the back patio door and it took them over a week to fix it. I am here now, yet again another water incident which resulted in the ceiling falling down along with gallons of water onto myself and my dog in the wee hours of the morning. The pictures posted are real time pictures of the state of my apartment for 11 days after the water incident occurred on 12/10/18. Not one time did the management ask was I ok nor had they even attempted to come over to check the state of my apartment which was uninhabitable. They told me I'd have to go through my insurance company again for the 3rd time and I have still not been handled appropriately, the company's attorney even attempted to treat me inappropriately and talk to me very aggressively. Empathy is clearly not the company's strong point and they seem to struggle handling things in a timely manner. I have been told they don't know who the properties insurance company is, which is what the property manager told me. The attorneys have yet to comply with me the property manager told me they are dealing with a very big case. I asked to speak with the owners and the property manager told me (even after I expressed this situation has yet to be resolved or really talked through after almost a month) that I should keep in mind it is a holiday week and not everyone is in the office. This has been the most mentally, physically and spiritually draining occurrence that has transpired in my life to date and between me having to be mishandled almost on a daily through my correspondence with the management. I have experienced a decline in everything in my life from this situation, my professional/financial , academic, and just my mental/physical health. Even when I've expressed this in my several attempts to settle this matter, I feel the property manager thinks it's a joke because she constantly chuckles, giggles and I suppose she attempting to make me smile throughout the process of dealing with such a chaotic situation but I have yet to find any humor or reason to smile at any point since this all transpired, as I have truly been trying to maintain composure and keep my mind off of it all to keep from breaking. I am exhausted at this point and wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. All I ask is for those seeking an apartment community to consider checking into the reviews and truly making sure you are informed. To management or a word of advice to the owners get new management staff or promote the assistant property manager because she's much more proactive and handles things accordingly. It's truly disheartening and I feel like I'm in a bad dream but typing this makes me realize it's my reality. The pictures show how the maintenance moved around and broke my very expensive antique/ retro hand painted Italian furniture, how the third party restoration company used my dishes and left urine on my toilet seat and just left my home in disarray. P.S. They haven't prorated my rent, never asked me to move into another unit until the work was done and I almost had to beg them to clean it after they were done destroying my personal belongings.
