Very clean and comfortable. Had all of the standard features you expect from a modern nail salon - massage chair for pedicures, individual tables for manicures and hand/foot drying stations. I had the "Package 1" manicure, pedicure and 10 minute massage for $40. It was awesome! Everything was streamlined and i never felt too rushed or abandoned. They have cross-ventilation (a set of doors that are open on two sides) with AC on and, as you can see in the photos, a good setup of plexiglass frames to protect you and their excellent manicurists/pedicurists. DANGER! BEWARE the WAXING services!! I ended up bruised and bleeding for days after a Brazilian. Two weeks ago I had a lovely pedicure here and decided to return the next day for a waxing. A painful 45 minutes later I left with 2 two-plus inch tears in the creases outside of my lady parts (euphemizing here to avoid censorship). One bled freely for two days. I spent the following 4 days on a family beach trip, constantly cleaning it and worrying about ruining everyone's vacation due to landing in the ER with an infection. I have since healed but one side has 2-and-a-half inches of raised scar tissue. Apparently, I should have gone to a dr for stitches. Two women hovered over me for this painful experience, asking me to hold my parts back and telling me "you have very sensitive skin" and " this is the painful part". They obviously were not trained in this complicated and potentially dangerous process. They didn't cut the hair short before the waxing so the initial wax pulls on even the less sensitive skin were more painful. I asked them to leave a little triangle of hair and was left with an off-center trapezoid. I feel like an idiot for not stopping this in the middle but I didn't realize they were actually tearing my skin. They remained very calm and were talking about everything in another language. I hadn't had a wax in months and figured that was why it hurt so much. I didn't realize I was bleeding until I got home. They carefully rolled up the paper under me as I got up. Do yourself a favor and stick to the services in the front room unless they can produce some proper certification from an accredited waxing/beauty program. But, probably not even then. It was a pretty stressful couple of days for me. That was probably my last waxing. read more

I have been a frequent customer of Cobble Nails & Spa since September. I come every 2-3 weeks for my gel mani as well as a pedicure. The decor and ambiance is very calm and soothing. The facility is always clean and organized. You are immediately greeted as soon as you walk in the door with a warm friendly smile. They have soooooo many colors to choose from so it's usually best to have something in mind before hand or you might struggle as every color is gorgeous. The nail techs are all super sweet and ask you at each step what you would like done as far as cut down and shape. I really like this place and will continue coming as they make me feel very comfortable and welcomed each time. Plus I love all the compliments on my nails and toes. I recommend for sure! read more

This place is becoming my grooming go-to: the prices are super reasonable, the work is high quality, and the shop is bright, comfortable and clean. They offer all of the bells and whistles services but after a gentle first inquiry I never feel pressured or like anyone is upselling me. I got my second pedicure, first manicure here today, joined by a pal who also got a pedi and a bikini wax. My pal said that this was the swiftest, least painful bikini wax she's ever had, and that the technician was absolutely lovely. I haven't had nails done here, so maybe that is their forte. However, if you're looking for lash extensions, stay away. The woman was really rough the whole time and didn't even offer a mirror at the end. The result was a cartoonish set of poorly done and obviously fake lashes. They were unevenly applied--some were further up on the eyelid--and clumped together. I pointed this out and she pretended to fix them, then again hesitated to give me a mirror. They ended up falling off in the next few days, which was just as well. read more

I had such a pleasant experience when I went for a pedi & gel manicure, and my nails looked great. I thought I had finally found my nail place! However, the quality of the gel manicure has made me question my initial reaction. I had the manicure on Friday and 1 nail peeled off completely on Monday! That's never happened to me before; gel manicures typically last me 2 weeks. I called them and they told me to come in and they would fix it, which they did. Again, they were lovely and gracious, and I thought the one nail was a fluke. It is now Wednesday (5 days post gel manicure), and a second nail has peeled off! Clearly, the quality of the gel manicure is sub-par. Maybe I was unlucky with my specific technician? I'm disappointed and frustrated. I don't have time to revisit the salon again, so I'm going to pay another salon located near my place of work to fix it. I would like a refund for this experience. read more

This was an excellent pedicure experience for this neighborhood. The atmosphere was calm (I went on a weeknight so I cannot speak to what it is like on the weekends) and comfortable. I enjoyed the massage chair, and the fact that they use liners in the pedicure bowl, new nail files and buffers, individual packets with lotions and exfoliators, and they were very clean. I preferred this experience over the pedicure I had at Ruchki da Nochki on Atlantic Ave which I found so uncomfortable, overpriced and pretentious. Great experience!! The nail tech was so sweet and was very communicative. I tend to forget about specifying shape and she made sure ask. I came on a Friday around 630 and didn't have to wait. She did three coats of gel (I usually prefer two since the last time I did three coats it peeled sooner than expected) but after two coats she asked if I wanted a third and I said yes - the polish was sort of thin I guess and didn't look totally even yet. So we'll see how the three coats hold up! Either way I'll be back - for 53 gel mani/pedi I can't complain! read more

Not one to afford self care very often. But wanted to treat my daughter (who I was dropping off in Brooklyn for college) and myself to a pedicure. Based on reviews and clear website pricing choose Cobble Nails & Spa despite being the furthest walking distance from us. They did not disappoint. My daughter got the Eucalyptus Spa and I the Relaxing Pedicure. I was a bit jealous of my daughters pedicure and what it included, but mine did not disappoint. Both technicians were excellent and detail oriented and took their time. I never felt they were rushing through the job to get to the next customer. And impressed with cleanliness and COVID compliant. Tubs were lined, chairs were lined and tools all sterilized and freshly opened in front of you. Everyone including clients were wearing masks. Other salons for similar pedicures were priced higher, so I felt for what we received it was perfectly priced. And payment was not asked for until our polish was dry. I originally reviewed this place as five stars. The first time I went it was really good. I went a few times after and it gradually got worse. I decided to try it once more because it's close. The last time I went took the cake and I will not be going back. The technicians seem pretty amateur. I also question the cleanliness of the tools as compared to other salons in the neighborhood. The last technician I had was horrible. The pedicure was ok except she didn't paint them very well. The manicure is where it got interesting. She took a nail file to my cuticles and cut me on 3 different fingers. When I told her to be careful, she said I did that? I'm bleeding, so yes, you did do it. She then asks me to pay which I do and I leave a $5 tip because honestly the service wasn't great. I normally consider myself a good tipper. She proceeds to tell me that I have to tip 20% on the bill and I need to give her another $1. I said what? You just cut me 3 times. Since when is a tip mandatory? It's based on the quality of service. I asked someone else to paint me and I was on my way. read more

I went there today after work in the area. The owner , the Asian lady did my nails. I felt it was super rushed . One of the other ladies did my toes , she was very nice .
