Most recent drop off was the regular-learned-the-hard-way-not-to-wash clothing items and hubby's fave à la Mr. Rodger's cardigan. Stretched out button holes, it had become incapable of keeping him snug, cozy. $8 per to tighten them = snug, cozy. I truly would have messed up this repair. ALL items cleaned with care, packaged appropriately ready to be worn this coming fall/winter. Short term drop-off/pick-up parking at entrance off of Westwood Boulevard and Holman Avenue. We usually walk to Sterling Cleaners for drop-off but pick-up via our car(s). Made the mistake at pick-up by parking in an employee only zone. Fortunately, thanks to efficient staff, I was only in an employee's space for mere minutes. Whew! Check-in on Yelp but there's no longer a discount along with it. When I mentioned this we were given a 25% off neighborhood courtesy. Sterling Cleaners now prefers a Google review but I'm gonna stick with Yelp.

He made my shoes good as new and I look forward to wearing them, now that they are repaired. It's a service well worth what you pay because the quality is so top notch. Sam is gonna be honest with you up front and show you how to better maintain your shoes. I have the classic two handle speedy 35 that is no longer in production. I'm traveling back home to New York City and having only a palm handle bag is a purse snatchers dream. I have a cross body strap that I wanted attached. Sam did a thorough examination, explained clearly everything he was going to do and gave me the reassurance on the reconstruction. Sam said he will create a brand new bag for me and he did. He updated my 40+ year old speedy into the current Speedy P9. He attached the hardware rings on the side, completely reattached the two palm handles, conditioned the coated canvas, deodorized the interior and dyed the strap to match the handles. More importantly, he gave me an authentic LV zipper. I previously got the bag installed with a zipper from another craftsman and Sam educated me that they didn't correctly install the zipper. Sam confirmed my suspicion that the previous work was poor. Sam reinstalled the correct zipper for me. Sam's work was so exceptional, he's the only craftsman I trust in LA. I'm going to go if he can repair my Gucci belt bag as well before I go home. Thanks Sam.

Shoe Lab on West Pico Blvd is one of the few places in the Los Angeles area who have Dainite heels and soles. Shoe Lab put new Dainite heels and new black rubber tips on my tan waxed suede shoes. Shoe Lab also polished all the edges and cleaned the waxed suede. As an extra added attraction Shoe Lab sent me a text message when my shoes were ready. I have six pairs of shoes with Dainite heels and soles. Glad I found some place near where I live who has Dainite heels and soles.

Even the simple things I needed done with my shoes were poorly done, and the shoes started ungluing quickly after getting them back. The other items they worked on they either damaged by them thoughtlessly deeply scratching them and carelessly applying leather stains on the to parts they shouldn't have. I wish I would've never heard about this place and I wish I would have never gone here. I'm so disappointed and also angry because all my things they ruined were very expensive and one of the things they damage irreversibly was my grandfather's. It's not worth the chance, just don't go here.
