If I could give these guys negative stars, I would. I guess this is partly my fault because I never do more than an exterior wash, but I let these bozos convince me to do the Diamond VIP wash and detail which cost $49, so I'm the sucker. The attendant told me that after my car was washed and cleaned on the line by the high school kids it would be taken to the back and given a short detailing session by the "professionals". Like I said, I don't normally pay for this as I do it myself, but my car needed it and I was busy, so I thought I would give it a shot. I was told this takes an additional 10 minutes; he said they do an additional wipe of the door frames, body molding, interior, and a light spray wax on the outside. Seemed reasonable. Once my car moved to the detailers I watched the "professional" wipe down the exterior plastic and the door panels. That's it. It literally took him 3 minutes, no touch ups on the inside, no spray wax, nothing. When I got my car it was a joke. There were pools of liquid in every window button, you can see where he did a crappy job of wiping down the plastic, they missed cleaning the seats that you can see as soon as you open the door, and he didn't even wipe down the rear console. I asked to speak to a manager and he was a shorter gentlemen and at first seemed receptive to my concerns, then got short with me when I was showing him all the issues. He said to me, "you wanna stand here all day or do you want me to fix it". What I was trying to do was show him all the spots where they missed, because obviously his team missed them the first time, but that was too much for him. I don't need your attitude, which is why I declined and went home to fix it myself. I get it, managing a car wash in your 30s is probably the last stop in life, but when the only product you sell is a service, make it count. Here' a tip, if a customer pays for an extra detail, have a manager give it a quick once over, takes 60 seconds. A little quality control won't hurt. This place is a joke, won't be using them again. And to think they tried to sell me the monthly service, please. read more

Been a member since they opened. They ran a special which I took advantage of and still happy. I was my car at least once a week and often take advantage of the vacuum and towels to give my car a good wipe down. Once, after going through the wash there were tons of soap still left on my car. A worker came up and asked if I wouldn't mind going through again. They were having problems that morning wanted to make sure I was satisfied. I did and it came out without bubbles that time. I'll start off by saying the only reason a star is missing is because of the almost 2 hour wait for an oil change. Not much they can do about that though since it was just busy and there was about 7 cars ahead of me in the queue. The staff was very friendly and offered to clean my car even though I only bought an oil change. Update..... the guy at checkin upgraded my car wash without authorization and I was not aware until after I went to pay. What kind of shady nonsense is that. You need to get a yes before changing the ticket. Now a-days they charge more for lower quality and they want to "add on" services. Have been going to cobble stones for years with several models of SUVs and trucks, brought our Cherokee to get cleaned and after we paid for full service was informed they could not drive my car through and that I would have to. Would have just paid the self service and vacuumed myself. Then got it back and only the front two seat floors were vacuumed, nothing in either of the two front rows, windows dirty, and visible dirt still all over the car. Check your bank statement. I purchased a $10 membership and when I looked at my account online I was charged $10 and another charge for $11. When I called, the girl gave me an attitude and told me she only saw a charge for $10 so there was nothing she could do about it. Asked that my dash topper not be touched, because I have shims to hold it in place. Then when I got in to my car the shim was pushed down, where I couldn't get it. . I paid for the ultimate plus. The car was barely vacuumed, they hadn't even cleaned or wiped down the inside of the car. So I had to take it back. Our 16 year old took his car to get washed and chose the $35 Ultimate service. When we got the car back, it had not been vacuumed, (there was still debris and dirt on the floor) the dash was dusty and hadn't been wiped down, and the windows weren't cleaned. It almost looked like the inside wasn't even touched. I'm not sure if they were taking advantage of an inexperienced 16 year old, or if they generally skip the majority of the interior, but we had to clean the interior ourselves when we got back home. I didn't put forth the effort to contact anyone at this location because based on the previous reviews, they don't seem to care about providing good customer service. (Or even the basic service that was paid for) They can have their $35 and we will take our car elsewhere. I would advise future customers to do the same. read more

I have a monthly subscription, but I bring my girlfriend's car here to get cleaned with the best possible wash and the interior detail every time this is the third time it's not even wiped down no vacuum under mats I won't be coming back and canceling. I lift up the mat. It's completely not vacuumed at all wasn't even touched. Nothing was wiped down so I get his attention. The gentleman was actually really nice and said you don't need to be working outside. Will do it cause I went and parked. I was just gonna vacuum it myself, and then I was gonna show him how it was done. I would not recommend this location to anyone unless it's a do it yourself. read more

I come a few times a month with my Little baby Maverick & my 2008 Sequoia. The one person who ALWAYS stands out is Micah, he's always running around to every vehicle literally busting his ass to make sure each one is up to a 10/10 standard. He always makes sure that they don't do tire shine on my truck, he even makes sure they get all the dog nose prints from my three dogs off every window and almost all of the hair is gone! They even vacuum out my sons car seat! (Snacks are life & so are crumbs) regardless I refuse to take my truck anywhere else because I feel like they always take care of me when I am there & they make it obvious that they value their regular customers! read more

If you own a car that you care about, don't bring it to Cobblestone. I brought my Mustang GT in for a hand wash ($50 + tip) and specifically told them not to use anything other than damp towels in the interior. First, the car wasn't clean when they called me out of the lobby. There were streaks all over the outside of the car, they didn't vacuum, and they slathered this stinky oily gunk all over the interior... it was dripping onto the floor. There was dust all over the place, the wheels were dirty, and they chipped the paint on the hood which now needs to be resprayed. My car is less than a year old, and has less than 1500 miles on it. It was in near-perfect condition before I brought it to Cobblestone. To say I'm disappointed is the understatement of the year. I took the car back to the entry, and pointed out all of the streaks and drips.. The guy I talked to got on his radio and asked if they even wiped the outside of the car down. He said he would have his detailer correct the problems... I waited 15 minutes. The glass was still dirty and the detailer sprayed more of that oily junk on the interior. The wheels were still dirty. My wife and I left, went straight to the auto parts store, and spent nearly $100 in detailing products to get the stench out. I've never been to a carwash as terrible as this one. Needless to say, I won't be back. I guess I'll play a country song backwards... maybe I'll get my dog back, my wife back, my job back, and my minty $60k limited edition Mustang back. BUYER BEWARE! their monthly unlimited plan is next to impossible to cancel! I am a snowbird and in another state 6 months a year. My call to them the first month after it was supposed to be cancelled they said "we will make sure no further charges in the future, but you have to pay for this month". Next month, not cancelled and another $20 charge. My bank has required me to get a new debit card now because they can't stop the charges on their end. I was sucked in by their pitch of try a month for just $11. I asked them at that time if it was a month commitment and was assured I would not be charged after the first month! Well now I'm out $40 for months I'm not there, $10 for a new debit card and still wading through this ridiculous process trying to get things reversed. It's a really nice car wash that I had planned to use when I return to AZ, but not now! read more

They break things on your vehicle then refuse to correct the situation. Then the Assistant Manager trys to say he's the actual manager when he clearly isn't. Refuses to let you speak to actual manager or give actual managers name. However I did get the managers name from another employee. Employees talk bad about other employees to customers. I've given this location so many chances and they always disappoint. Today was the final straw. I even opened the lift gate and asked to vacuum the cargo area. "sure! no problem" they said. only to find an unvacuumed cargo area when i picked it up. They didn't even wipe down the dash. I paid 39 bucks for a car wash and you can't even wipe off my dash? Don't even get me started on oil changes. Terrible. But if you do get one, be careful. They will put regular water in you washer fluid and coolant reservoir, which is a huge no no. I guess that's what you get when you have high school kids running the location. Definitely calling corporate. read more

I really wish I had come here first. This location is the worst. First off, if you're new to the state, don't think cobblestone is any better than Walmart. In fact the tow truck driver told me that. Yeah, I said, tow truck driver, because the work performed (oil change) by Cobblestone. I've never had one issue ever. I get it my vehicle maintained all the time and the one time I bring it to them it overheats. They upsold me on a radiator cleaning and now I have a cracked radiator but they're saying it's not them. During this whole thing, it took me going to the location to talk to the General Manager, and even then, they told me he's busy. So where did I find GM Jeremy? Outside writing tickets for the car wash. Mind you, they were well staffed. But the only response I kept getting his, he's super busy. I finally said, I'll wait. That's when they said he's outside in the last row. And even then, Jeremy starts backtracking, saying, I'm not like the General Manager in that sense, I just oversee the managers. Their customer service sucks and it's because their leadership, Jeremy, sucks. read more

Slow. They take forever to clean your car and clean them no order at all. People that pull in way behind you get done right away while others wait for 30-45 mins. Then the car isn't that clean when they are done... there is a lot that is missed. So slow and poor quality. Also, paid like 200 for a wax to get rid of some minor scratches in the paint, the scratches were back in like 2 days... don't think they didn't anything to buff them out. read more

Parents beware! They remove car seats without notifying you! 1st Visit: My car looked great upon leaving, but little did I know the issue that I was about to find... I was driving on the highway with my newborn whom we had just brought home from the NICU. I had to slam on my breaks and my baby and her car seat went flying. I didn't understand how that was possible since 2 days prior the car seat was professionally installed by a certified car seat technician. I pull over to look at the installation and it was no longer installed. The person performing my Ultimate+ service completely disconnected the car seat. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should any of your employees disconnect and/or reconnect a child's car seat if they aren't a certified car seat technician. This creates a terribly dangerous situation, and I can't imagine what would have happened if my child would have been injured because of Cobblestone being negligent. 2nd visit: I decided to try again, and I asked for my car seat to not be touched. I was given so much attitude for bringing it up, and they acted like I was completely inconveniencing them. My car looked like crap. It was completely half-assed, to put it nicely. I purchased the Ultimate+ service and my car was filthy. The surfaces are very dusty, and my back seat and car seat has developed white spots that won't come off. There's crumbs on the floor and in crevices. I don't expect a full detail as that's not what I purchased, but with a full service purchase I do expect a clean car. I emailed Cobblestone about both experiences, and they didn't bother to respond. Just stay away from this place! read more

I ran over a paint can on my way to work. I had a large amount of white dried paint on both sides of my car as well as white speckles all over the back. My rims and tires were covered as well. I thought it would be a long shot but I brought it in to Cobblestone to see if they thought it might come out. I left my car there thinking I was gonna have to end up getting the car repainted, since I just bought it a year ago. I picked it up and it looked as new as the day we bought it ! I also was told I would have a certain package when I signed up and found out later that it was basic! I went today and paid for the highest package and they barley wiped anything down on the inside. I had to ask them to wipe the sides down. Then I got into my car to drive away and saw crumbs piled in the front of the open console, dust everywhere. Not worth the $44! 2 stars for the friendly staff. But not enough to go back again. My husband has a monthly pass so I'm going to talk to him about going somewhere else because this is NOT worth it anymore. A real bummer. Went in for a car wash, fastest wash ever and no wonder as my car was not cleaned. It was mildly dirty and needed a slight vacuum but I guess it looked so clean they all decided not to actually make any effort. I submitted a 'contact me' online to which Mary Jane from Scottsdale replied saying (via email) she would get it to the local manager. I've yet to hear from the local manager, and I followed up with Mary Jane every other day via email, and she's been ignoring me. Seems like this place is already going downhill and they haven't even been open very long. I typically don't comment about small stuff because it's more frustrating to write about it then to let it go, but these guys are beyond frustrating! So they treat you like a criminal if you don't have their sticker on your car and yet half the time the scanner doesn't read it and instead of someone noticing your sitting there waiting, they're too busy hanging out talking with other employees. You could easily look at my account and see my other car has a membership too, sticker attached as requested. But how about instead of acting like your catching a murderer when a $150,000 car doesn't have a sticker on it, you focus on your machines working, your people paying attention, and your towels being filled properly so your customers have a good experience instead of a negative one? I will never understand how ANY business holds a 2.0 rating unless they simply don't give a F. At some point you've gotta look at your reviews and fix your company, training and employees. I went in today to have my car washed. I normally do it myself, but have an event so didn't want to get sweaty with the heat. I was prepared to tip well knowing that they're working in the heat for me. Drove up & explained the crumbs and such in my vehicle & was convinced to do the $56 wash to "really clean and condition" showed up after my wash to find two empty water bottles on the floor, straw wrapper, dirt from the area in your car you step onto get into your vehicle & fingerprints on windows & doors. Asked for a manager & got the run around for about 5 min before I went to search for him myself. At that point I was informed that they don't vacuum car seat OR THROW TRASH AWAY. I was also informed that they do a quick condition in the front but not all over the car. So basically they sell you on a $56 wash that the $32 wash includes. It's an up charge for the same exact wash. Did they offer a refund? No. That's what they should have done, but instead they took an additional 20 min (including time waiting for manager) to re-do it only to come home to goldfish on my back seats. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH. They are not good business people and lack customer service entirely. read more

I have a membership here so i go here anytime to get a car wash, so i'm here often. Every single time, i've had to vacuum after because they don't do it well. Please improve your service here. They did a great job cleaning my car without requiring an appointment from me. They even cleaned out a nasty cup holder I gave up on a couple weeks ago. And the price was extremely reasonable. Another car wash place was asking for triple this cost and I felt Cobblestone did a better job. They were quick and courteous, and had a nice area to wait while your car was being cared for. I would do a 0 star if I could. My kids are finally with a sitter today so I could do much needed errands without them. Car wash was first in my list. Outside looks great, but I could have done a drive thru for that, instead of waiting 40 minutes to get my car detailed. I paid the expensive wash since the car really needed it.
