I've updated my rating for Express Oil as a general company, I can't vouch for the Warner location specifically. I took my vehicle in for ridiculously expensive alignment on my 1999 Expedition, $200, mainly to just get the steering wheel alignment straight after I replaced the pitman arm. The entire steering system has been upgraded with new parts, not modified in any way. Got the car back with steering now off center in other direction and marks all over my wheels and no warranty because they said the steering is modified, complete fiction. Then they wanted spray brake cleaner to remove the marks on the wheels, which anyone with even basic automotive knowledge knows will ruin the finish. Also, they tried to convince me that the steering play is a Ford thing, a mind numbingly stupid inference, they clearly think I don't know anything about cars. Please stay away from Express Oil on Warner and Kyrene, they don't have qualified technicians other than maybe for oil changes, even then I'd be hesitant, based on my conversation with the person in charge. Now I have to take my truck to a real garage to have the alignment fix and pay all over again.

Before I took the car into the body shop I decided to get an oil change at Jiffy Lube and in the process of raising the hood, the warped hinges of the hood caused damage to the body of the vehicle. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until after. I had left the service station for the oil change. I contacted management and shared photos and brought the vehicle in to be inspected at which point I was told that the damage was pre-existing and Jiffy Lube would do nothing about it. The only thing is, the damage was not pre-existing and now it's on me to repair.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sun Devil Auto…read more I went in with a Groupon for a synthetic oil change, but I later found out I was given a conventional oil change instead. To make matters worse, I was charged full price for a synthetic oil change because they didn't want to redo the transaction. They simply told me to use the Groupon next time. About 600 miles later, my husband changed my oil and immediately noticed it wasn't synthetic because it already looked like it was near the end of its life. That's when we realized I hadn't received the service I paid for. Shortly after my oil change, my car started making a strange noise, so I brought it back for a diagnostic. Without taking the time to ask questions or look into common maintenance issues, I was told I needed a new transmission and was quoted nearly $10,000. After doing more research, we found that my vehicle has a CVT transmission, and in Arizona's extreme heat these transmissions commonly need the transmission fluid changed every 30,000 miles. That's all my car needed. I went to Sun Devil Auto because my husband had recommended them and trusted they would take care of me. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. I can no longer recommend Sun Devil Auto, and neither my husband nor I will be returning.
