We had a trip to West Texas scheduled, so we decided to go through San Antonio and check out Colonies North. Minerva was great! She assured us that she could fix the boots and offered to ship them back to us when they were done. They arrived today. They shipped within the time framed promised and the workmanship was phenomenal. They look better than they did when they were new, and the fit is still perfect, and very reasonably priced. Oak Park Cleaners attaches a clear and itemized receipt with exact charges. Oak Park Cleaners brings clean clothes delivered to my door twice a week and the clothes look and smell amazing; they press, hang, and box according to directions every time. Although their prices look higher up front, their quality and service have given me the best value. Oak Park honors their coupons and prints them on the receipt. While using a competitor for over a year, I had a few problems: the competitor consistently ignored my requests; about 75% of the time the order was not right. The competitor offered a lot of discounts but did not submit a receipt, even when requested. (Was I really saving money?) I wanted to save time and hassle so I tried out Oak Park Cleaners; I'm so glad I did. Oak Park makes the whole delivery process so clear and easy. A week goes pass and they don't get back to me so I wait a few more days and 2 weeks go pass and I have to call and track them down. The number on google is someone cell phone who isn't the owner(?) and they had to give me the owners number to which the owner replied that they were sick and haven't worked on the skates at all. So then 1 week turns into 3 1/2 week. They have a policy if you don't pick up your item within a month they keep and/or sell your item. Upon pickup I try the skates and they weren't sewn together and completely fall apart upon single use while skating which is very dangerous. The 1 star is for inconsistent/lack of communication with me having to track down the owner and never getting back to me, inconsistent store timing that doesn't match google, Shoddy and shady service because I ultimately wasted money for a service that wasn't complete and potentially a hazard if I hurt myself worse due them not completing the task properly. Very friendly people, but improper tailoring practices (per my new tailor)…read more When taking in slacks and skirts, they did not measure to make it even, which can be seen from the distance between back pockets and center seam. I took them to a different seamstress and she measured them to be off by a third an inch, and explained to me that it appeared the fabric was taken in from one side versus both sides. This causes the back of the slacks to look pinched at the center seam, like the fitness influencer butt scrunch shorts. They also forgot to add the back belt loops back on. My new tailor is trying to fix them, but she told me that ATG did not leave any fabric to let them back out and is recommending I throw out these pants altogether. I think these women are very nice and were friendly, and that's why I am giving 2-stars. But I paid around $800 to get several skirts, slacks, and jackets taken in. For the price, I wish they had been more detail oriented with measuring out exact lengths, and I wish they'd left some fabric for future alterations (which I have been told is typical practice).
