A solid local place serving breakfast all day, has a garden bar, has all the diner staples. Nice service. Food prices are fair for what you get. The decor is dated but comforting. Had the two porkchops with fries (they were great) and applesauce - daughter had the fish and chips and tapioca pudding. We enjoyed and would come again. Almost didn't find this place because the address is incorrect in Yelp... It's at 117 Granite Drive. Glad we persevered though cause it's a good hometown diner... I had eggs over easy, bacon and a biscuit and it was just right. If we're ever passing by this way again, we'd stop back. read more

The food and prices were great. The waitress was very rude and had a attitude problem. She forgot my drink and never came back to the table to see if anything else was needed. She came with the bill and at that time she asked if we needed anything else. ( a little late at that point) I said we would like some more coffee, with attitude she said sorry sir we got really busy. You could tell she was miserable because it was so busy. read more

Order a salad and they made me a wrap instead. Basically said "here we made you a wrap" didn't try to make right on it and still charged. Plus it was disgusting!! I will never go here again. Hillbilly diner... not worth the gas money, or time!! I'd rather starve! read more

Really bad service the waitress acted like we were bothering her, never asked if we needed anything or how was the food basically ignored us. The food was bad dried out sitting around, don't order the fish it was 2 triangles of pressed processed maybe some fish in it like you would buy in a grocery store freezer. We love coming here! The diner never disappoints and always sends us home with full tummies and smiling faces! Portions are huge and coffee is always hot and ready! Very inexpensive for breakfast lunch and dinner. Personally love the French fries and always order sausage gravy over biscuits! Three thumbs up! read more

If i could give the cobleskill diner ten stars i would, The food is always great and everyone is extremely nice. I always look forward to having some of their hamburger chowder which is awesome followed closely by the cream of broccoli soup. I have tried a bunch of different meals there and have never been disappointed and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Went in for breakfast and there was a long wait. We were seated and told there was a 30-40 minute wait. My friend used the restroom it was disgusting. We were served water and then decided to leave. Decor was rough and there was duck tape on the booth seats. read more

We were in the area to visit the caverns and stopped in to the diner for a quick bite to eat. We were so impressed with the home cooked meal we ate that we returned two more evenings for dinner and twice for breakfast! The sausage gravy & biscuits was awesome. The chicken & dumplings was very good. We has pasta one night, My ziti was way over cooked but my Wife's spaghetti was fine and the sauce was very good. They have a small salad bar, homemade pies and the prices are good for a family, The portions are good (Except the pasta dinner, Large portions) and the staff all very friendly. read more

We used to frequent here often, but the see ce has definitely become an issue with no "leader" to help direct the flow. The food is OK, definitely not the best diner food in the area. More willing to drive to Schoharie, Middleburgh and Richmondville for diner breakfast. read more

I was there for lunch and asked for a grilled tuna and swiss on rye with onion. what I got was a sloppy mess of tuna on white that was warm but not grilled, the bread was white and not rye and definitely not grilled. But the biggest thing was the PILE of onions that were on the sandwich. I took off a PILE of onions on both halves of the sandwich. I asked the waitress about it and she said that she didn't know she couldn't even talk to them back there (the kitchen). I was not offered a replacement, nor an apology, and still was charged full price! There was no exaggeration, a cup and a half to two cups of sliced onions on the sandwich. I live within 20 min. of the diner; I've never had lunch or dinner there, only breakfast. I've been going there for 10 years now, with perhaps a one year hiatus a few years ago. Consistency rates about 85%; prices are reflective of the economy, but breakfast for two, with a tip runs about $18. The food has improved over time, and the portions are pretty good. Like I said, consistency on a particular meal is about 85%. The pancakes are not always fluffy; the veggie omelet sometimes has more onion than any other veggie; but my spouse raves about the sausage gravy. I've never walked away hungry. read more
