Pretty cute vibe and friendly staff. Delicious and reasonably priced cocktails. It gives more of a club vibe than arcade bar. LOVED the music as well (I'm into EDM - mostly various house music genres and techno and the nights I went had a lot of this).

Cool little video game arcade and pinball spot that serves alcohol, why not? Place isn't luxurious or nothing fancy but this place reminds me of Melrose in California with their cool graffiti art design but this place doesn't really have much room or seated areas. Parking is horrible here so check out this place on the weekdays or non peak hours.

An absolute neat bar to go to. We stumbled upon it while walking around downtown and I'm glad we did. The staff wasn't pushy and we were able to enjoy games (which they have some fun ones that operate well). The music and overall vibes were good. If you're looking for a unique place to have a few drinks and play some games rather than a regular bar than I recommend taking a visit to here!

Cool spot to come early and start a night out. Hang out, play retro video games, party shot specials. We got there early enough on a a Friday before the crowd came in so it was spacious, cool and chill. First time I've been there. I usually pass by at some point in the night and the crowd is crazy, line wraps around the building, so never stopped by. I'd come back.

why is hi score happy hour gone smh.... got it 2 weeks ago.... fly high Anyways Cobra is still fun, plenty of diverse games to play (I still miss Terminator but love DDR and ninja turtles) and the workers were nice and gave us extra tokens when we ran out. good music after 9pm depending on who is DJ-ing (DJ Javin you have my full support)

Didn't spend a lot of this in this bar because it was pretty dead on a week day. I think it gets packed on the weekends. Looks pretty fun though.

    Out for some fun tonight.

At my age trying to step outside the box and try new places can be difficult so we headed into Phoenix for the evening our first stop was this place. I like the concept if I was 21 again lol it's super small inside the pictures make the place look big it's not a bad place by any means the age bracket you ask? 21-30. Now the beer was cold and I was shocked by my screwdriver when I tasted it and the orange juice was really good so the bartender definitely knew what she was doing and the staff was ok they kind of kept to themselves. So if you're between the ages of 21-30 or just some old guy going through a mid life crisis and like younger women then this is the place just for you.

I have a bunch of tokens from the Tucson location. Am I able to use them here at the Phoenix location?

I don't see why not. You should call ahead and ask them that way you don't take a bunch of tokens and have to carry them around.

    Does this place have food?

No they don't. However you'll see food trucks near by and some other bars next door and on the block that serves fantastic food!

Is it pretty easy to socialize and meet people? What is the age range?

Not really, this place is constantly packed like a sardine can. Loud, nightclub style. Age range is 21-25ish.

    21+ or 18+?

    21 +

I'm pretty sure you can as long as your son stays with you as they so sell alcohol there. My friend brought her kids BEFORE 6p. They also have events where they bring the video games outside. Check their facebook page for all events!

    Yes

What's the name of the taco truck you guys have outside? Do they have their own location? Those tacos were bomb!

The taco stand outside is Baja Roots. They don't have their own location but they are at Cobra several days a week every week. You can follow them on Instagram @bajarootsaz we LOVE them!

Is there a cover on the weekends?

Nope! Usually a long line, but it can move quick! Also, you have to purchase game tokens to play any of the games, but they have token machines 💁🏽

My partner and I RSVP'd for a Thursday 7:30pm flight from NYC to Tokyo. Per our email, we were instructed to arrive about 15 minutes early to pick up our flight tickets from the downtown restaurant Wren & Wolf. Spoiler alert: Carry On is a speakeasy attached to the back of the restaurant. After picking up your ticket, you walk around the corner to the large orange "plane" door, which opened punctually at 7:30pm to start our experience. We gave our flight attendants (the staff was indeed wearing flight attendant uniforms) our tickets at the front desk, and were given free Carry On pins before being escorted to our table. Despite being a Thursday evening There were overhead announcements and even windows playing animations emulating a real flight experience from take-off to landing! The interior is gorgeous, from the furnishings to the lighting. Craftily, there are many mirrors inside to create the illusion of a larger space. The menu emulated an in-flight menu, with food and drinks based on the trip's theme! We ordered an additional drink each and an onion dip that were all creatively crafted and delicious! All in all, Carry On is the perfect date night or girl's night experience. While it might not be in most people's price range for a casual night out, it is definitely worth trying for a special occasion if possible. I would love to go back and am looking forward to the next destination's theme!

It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.
