When we got to the stall the next day, we simply told the owner about the smell then she got mad/disagreed and started to raise her voice when we were speaking calmly and trying to just explain to her what happened. Later, when we adjusted and finally found a dress to exchange, she said we could not have it since it was on hold for a different person, but the person had been gone for quite a while, and then again the owner started to raise her voice when she did not want to give us the dress, and at last she said to just get the dress and get out of her stall while we also ended up paying extra for the new dress. This whole experience was completely unethical, disrespectful, and unprofessional; such a disappointment.

The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. Then I saw a small black handbag that was almost exactly like one I had just bought online from a boutique for twice the price, except mine was in a different color. Next time I need a purse I'm coming to TJ Maxx first. The store was pretty crowded and it was difficult to get around at times. The aisles were narrow and goods from the shelves sometimes spilled out onto the floor. It was loud, too, with screaming kids. After about 20 minutes I started getting a headache and decided it was time to leave. I ended up buying a set of cutting boards, magnetic bag clips with strawberries on them, and a Kate Spade pencil case. Everything was so inexpensive.
