This location is pretty convenient for those in the Richardson area, or even neighboring cities because it borders Plano as well. Charlene (front desk admin) is very friendly and efficient. I always get text notifications (you can set this up with them) two times prior to coming in, and a confirmation call. This is really useful for me because I make the appointments 6 months out and don't remember the specifics. If you need to change your appointment, it's also quite convenient to change times / days. Just take a note to the days they aren't open! The process of cleaning and results are always clearly explained to me when a question arises. The cleaning and polishing process is a painless experience, and fairly quick for me (under the hour). Everyone here is so nice- Recommend this dentist!

I actually first visited Dr. Seely back in 2010 but my insurance changed and she wasn't covered. After many years, I finally got an insurance that she accepted and I went straight back to her. The office is small but in a great location at Preston and Forest. Everyone from the front office staff, dental assistant, dental hygienist and the dentist are great. The dental assistant did a great job cleaning my teeth. She always made sure I was comfortable and that she wasn't hurting me. The office manager went out of her way to verify my benefits to make sure I was covered. When Dr. Seely came to talk to me she just brightens up the room with her personality. Earlier this year I received a crown and experienced significant pain and multiple rounds of…read moreanesthetic. Within days, I was experiencing significant discomfort. A second opinion from another provider confirmed that the crown had been placed incorrectly and would need to be completely redone. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for corrective care, including a new crown and additional treatment. What made this experience even worse was the dentist's behavior during the procedure. While working on my teeth, he repeatedly changed the music mid-treatment, checked stock prices on his computer, and at one point was shopping for a new dental chair on eBay. This was all happening while I was in the chair receiving care. In addition, he performed all parts of the visit himself--including the X-rays, cleaning, and crown work--with no hygienist present. Not only is this a red flag in terms of practice standards, but it also led to a rushed, chaotic, and impersonal experience that clearly compromised the quality of care. When I reached out to request reimbursement for the failed dental work, I was met with a dismissive and hostile email. Rather than take any accountability, He refused to engage in a professional resolution and instead told me I should "take it up with the dental board." The level of care and professionalism I received was entirely unacceptable. I am now in the process of filing a formal complaint with the state dental board. I strongly urge others to think twice before seeking treatment at this office. Dental work requires trust, skill, and focus--none of which I received here.

I get that insurance reimbursements are stingy, but 2x is high. 2) you have to be able to say no to various add on services like fluoride treatments for adults, which are of dubious value. And 3) this is a little petty, but their phone greeting of "how may I brighten your smile?" gets a little old. Bottom line - if you don't mind spending a little more, they will give you excellent dental care and good service.
