I have been visiting the office for my dental cleanings over the last year and a half. The staff has been extremely nice to me during every visit. Dr. Daftary has been very personable and friendly at every visit when she sits down with me to go over the details of my checkup since the previous visit. Miss Luna has been a great dental hygienist for me. In the past, when I've gone to visit other dental offices there was always that fear of the irritation and pain of getting my teeth and gums cleaned up, but not here at this office. Dr Dafftary is kind but doesn't know how to handle root canals. She absolutely Butchered my root canal to where I needed surgery. I had to spend a ton of money on an endodontist and oral surgeon after she attempted a root canal and the endodontist was shocked at what had been done. read more

Prestonwood Dental was really awesome all around. After going to a few dentists in Dallas that had less than favorable offices, Prestonwood Dental was beautiful, friendly, and clean. The nicely decorated lobby created a comforting environment from the moment I walked in. The ladies at the desk were really accommodating and friendly despite some issues with my insurance. In addition, the dentist was warm and caring - she even gave me headphones to listen to music when I told her that I didn't like the sound of drilling. I highly recommend this place! read more

I found Dr. Daftary because I really did not like the dentist I'd been seeing when I lost a filling recently. The staff got me in pretty quickly, and Dr. Daftary was able to get me fixed up. She works fast, too! I got my teeth cleaned today, and the dental hygienist was also friendly and worked quickly. I appreciate that everyone in the office is very friendly and communicative. I would never give any business a bad review without a good reason. I believe my experience is important for others to know about when trying to determine whether to go to Prestonwood Dental. I went to Prestonwood Dental because I was having pain in a back molar. Aside from the infection, Dr. Daftry was not able to determine why I was in so much pain. I had to come in 3 different times and the result was terrible. Dr. Daftry performed a temporary root canal and placed a temporary filling on top. After 3 visits, and over 400.00 out of pocket dollars I continued to be in so much pain. I went to a different dentist who performed an x-ray then showed me why I was in so much pain. When Dr. Daftry was cleaning out the roots of my tooth, she broke one of the files and left it in the root. The metal was in 2 pieces and had caused a major infection in my mouth. Dr. Daftry had to know that file was broken in my tooth, there is no way for her not to know because it was nearly half the length of the original file. Unfortunately, my tooth could not be saved, and it has taken me nearly 2 weeks to get rid of the infection. Thankfully the Dentist I went to is top-notch, he has worked with me to get rid of this infection and will need to perform a bone graft so I can have an implant to replace the lost molar. While Dr. Daftry and her staff were very professional and nice to me, I left with a near serious medical issue, and it has cost me over 500.00 out of pocket so far. Had I not gone to another Dentist, I probably would never have been told about the broken file in my tooth, and the infection I got from this could have spread through my entire mouth compromising the rest of my teeth. read more

I am not a regular patient of Dr. Daftary's, but I may switch from my current dentist after my experience this week with Prestonwood Dental. I used to get cold sores frequently, but haven't had one in almost 2 years..until this week! I felt a little tingling on my lip on Monday afternoon (less than a week before my engagement pictures!!!) and lo and behold, I had a full blown cold sore by the next morning. I called Dr. Daftary's office first thing on Tuesday morning when I looked online and saw they do cold sore laser therapy. They were able to get me an appointment within 30 minutes of my first call to them. Everyone in the office was so nice & professional and laser therapy sped up my healing process so my cold sore is almost completely healed within a matter of 3 days!!! I'm not sure if these results are typical, but anyone who gets cold sores know it can take up to 2-3 weeks to heal, so this seems like a miracle to me. I can go into my engagement pictures this weekend without a worry, and I am so relieved. I highly recommend Dr. Daftary! read more

I just had a root canal today. Honestly i went in there terrified and i walked out with a numb mouth, i haven't had to touch my medicine because i haven't had any pain since i have left.
