Crazy rude owner?? Worker?? Not sure but wow, I have never walked out of an establishment as fast I did with Coco. Came on a Tuesday night to try their boba for the first time. There was no one in line but many app orders waiting on the counter. The cashier did not greet us even though he was staring right at us, not a big deal, but off to a bad start already. I was waiting to order and was looking at him. Then a series of phone order customers came in so he went to attend to them first. When it was my time to order, he asked if I was ready. I asked for the Mango milk tea then paused to look at the menu while he asked me a question. I added that I wanted boba with it and while YELLING in the rudest tone possible, he said, "EXCUSE ME?? I said sugar and ice level!!!!" I was so caught off guard, I became speechless. I ended up saying, "never mind" and just walked out. Crazy experience. Never again. Saw they had a promotion for $1 medium Pearl Milk Tea from April 3-6, and I couldn't resist an amazing deal! I came on a Saturday at 1pm, and it wasn't too crowded. The inside was clean with a couple of tables to sit at. I ordered on their self-service kiosk, and you can adjust the sweetness level and ice level. I ended up getting 6 orders of the pearl milk tea for my family, all with no ice and regular sweetness. The employees were very efficient, so we didn't wait long for our drinks. The drink was super tasty! Boba was nice and bouncy, and the milk tea was not too sweet and had a nice black tea flavor balanced with the milk. For $1, the price is amazing haha. However, without the promotion, it is usually $5.30 for the medium size, so I honestly wouldn't pay it for that price. Coco Fresh is not the best place compared to other household names from Taiwan. But their drinks are decent. They probably offer the best deals compared to other boba tea places I've been to over the years. Coco's promotions changed weekly. It just seems very random on what's offered. Sometimes they have buy one get one free, or they'll have buy one, and get the other at half price. Doing the calculations, it's pretty much the same. But I have to say that Coco Tea is more reasonable priced along with its promotions compared to other places. I usually order their mango milk tea with boba, or their mango green tea with jelly. You may adjust the sugar level in increments of 50% and 70%. But of course you could have 100% sweetness or no sugar. You could also adjust the ice level from regular to less ice... which I think is good too. They have a menu of drinks. But the menu is not too large compared to others. I come here for the convenience, and they're usually not as busy. They make the drinks fast. But parking might be a problem on the weekends as it's in a more popular plaza. read more

I saw a promotion on Instagram for $1 pearl milk tea (med size) good from 4/3 2026 to 4/6/2026. Today was the 6th so I went today to go take advantage of the deal. When I got there, it was busy. There were 2 girls working making drinks and just a kiosk. This worried me because what if the deal didn't work on it? Well turns out I was right. I saw a $4.50 price so I asked if it would be $1 once rung up, and they said yes when you select "pearl milk tea in the med size" so I ordered 2. When the receipt came out, it said $6, but the description was a fruit tea...that's not what I ordered. I ordered two med pearl milk tea. I told them this and they said "The receipt printer hasn't been working well, did you order with regular sugar, regular ice?" And I said yes then they gave me my 2 milk teas. I was curious to see if my debit card statement would read $2 but it still charged me $11.07, the price for 2 milk teas and tax. ($4.50 each) I can't believe this business practice. This is false advertising in order to get more foot traffic. As a Yelp Elite who has never been to this boba shop, this review needed to be posted for all to see so this will not happen again to any more individuals. This is the first time I've been been to this Coco. I've passed on it so many times because we end up going to yogurtland. However I don't mind getting both next time. My daughter and I were greeted and didn't feel rushed to look over the menu. Some days I enjoy small talk but this time I didn't and the employees read my mind! I ordered 4 drinks. The totally with tip came out to under $26. Thai Tea Brown sugar Milk with boba Lychee Yakult Lychee Tea The Thai tea was made with condensed milk which was nice. It was not watered down. If anything I thought it was too creamy lol but very good. The lychee Tea was extremely refreshing. I would come back just for this drink. I loved the jelly included in the drink. All lychee drinks had whole lychees. They are canned, but I don't care it's a childhood delight. Canned lychees are the Asian kids equivalent of a canned fruit cocktail... But I digress. The other drinks were a hit with my children. The only reason why Coco loses a star is because of the size of the drinks. I felt they were too small for the price. My ultimate favorite spot to get milk tea! I always opt for the classic here as CoCo's Milk Tea is always perfectly creamy with a strong tea flavor. I always get 100% sweet as their sweetness level is not as sweet compared to other boba shops. My fiancé decided to try their Honeydew Jasmine Milk Tea with Tea Jelly and he loved it! It really tasted exactly like a Melona ice cream bar and the tea jelly pairs so well with this drink. Definitely recommend as it was so delicious I had to keep stealing sips! The shop is very clean, it is on the smaller end but there are still a few tables and a counter to sit at. The service is efficient and they brought out our drinks within a few minutes. The shop is located in the 168 plaza so there are plenty of parking spots, but depending on the time and day can get extremely packed. read more

I got the fresh grapefruit green tea on my most recent visit and it was refreshing! The grapefruit flavor was strong and I got 75 percent sweetness and less ice and it was just what I wanted. The staff here were friendly and made my drink fairly quick and there's some tables inside for seating and the interior was clean and well-lit. I'm so glad coco fresh is back in SGV. I've been here three times so far and had in consistency on the drinks. First time I came I ordered the jasmine milk tea and hubby got taro milk tea and it was delicious. So we came back the following week and I ordered jasmine milk tea and hubby got strawberry green tea and it was so-so. The jasmine milk tea was so creamy and you can barely taste the tea. Then recently I got the taro milk tea since I liked it the first time I got a sip from the hubby's drink. The drink was so watery and I can barely taste the taro. And hubby got the mango sago tea and the sago was undercooked. The boba was consistent the three times that I was there and it is chewy and good. Hopefully they are consistent in the future. While I was grabbing my drink from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big; however, if you come during the weekends or during lunch or dinner time, good luck finding a parking spot. Parking can be a massive headache here sometimes. Some parking spots are smaller than others, so be careful where you park. Drink: I ordered a Hokkaido milk tea. Super delicious and refreshing. It was so rich and creamy. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite boba drinks. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, welcoming, and fast. They accept both cash and credit cards. I love CoCo, and it's one of the boba companies with the most stores in China for a reason. Located in a plaza next to a weed shop, pizza hut, and Sun Nong Dan, this place doesn't really fit in the crowd, but don't let that deter you from coming. My go to order is the 3 Guys milk tea, and that order never disappoints. At 70% sugar, this drink had both a good tea presence and wasn't too sweet; and paired with fresh, flavorful boba, is honestly one of the best consistently good boba places in town. They don't skimp on the various toppings, and my drink is consistently filled with egg pudding, grass jelly, and boba. It's perfect for anytime after a meal where you aren't completely full. The boba is sooo chewy and flavorful, it made CoCo become one of my favorite places to go for boba. Although I wish they had more milk tea options, you can tell from their small menu that syrups and artificial sweeteners are kept to a minimum. The staff is very nice and helpful when it comes to ordering. The drinks both come out fast and are consistently good from the many times I've visited this branch. There's literally nothing bad for me to say about CoCo other than it's located in a relatively sketchy plaza (imo). read more

Surprisingly the tea was not that sweet at 50%, which I prefer. I could taste the green tea but not much of a mango flavor. After CoCo of Monterey Park closed down, I was a bit sad. Their oolong milk tea or just oolong with cloud (cream foam) was one of my favorite drinks to get. Finally a CoCo opened around this area. I am a bit disappointed they don't have oolong tea here however. I got their strawberry black tea on cloud as recommend by the nice and friendly cashier. The cloud part is just as I remembered, velvety light with a slight creamy feel; the strawberry chunks felt a bit old. Overall it was still a tasty drink but not worth $7. Glad there's a CoCo here on Las Tunas but please bring back your oolong tea. read more

We were in the plaza going to 168 market and noticed the coco store !!! There used to be so many branches all over the sgv until they mysteriously all closed down so we were really sad since it's one of our favorite tea places. Therefore, we totally had to stop by! Upon entering, we realized that there's a promo going on where it's bogo every Wednesday and Thursday. What a steal! Back in the days, it used to be about $3-4 per cup and now it's $6-7 per cup. So inflation is real. Luckily with the bogo deal, it's still pretty worth it. Our favorite drink here is the milk tea with sago. The milk tea is pretty creamy with a good amount of strong tea flavor. The sago was a little under cooked, but we still enjoyed it. read more

Great service. They had my order done in just a few minutes. I had the milk tea boba w/ light ice. The milk tea is great, doesn't make my stomach hurt (for all those who can't digest lactose). I used to go to the location in the Santa Anita mall and really liked this place til i found out they were closing down. It was my first time at this location. I always get their 3 buddies and is always perfect sweetness and ice level. This location calls in 3 Guys but is my favorite and is the same thing i got at Santa Anita mall location... Bad service with untasty drink I don't have a single reason to go back to any coco tea place especially this one. They have a promotion with a online ordering app. But since I was already at the store, I asked if they can just honor the promotion. They said no, red flag one. They don't accept online orders until 30 minutes from now, and I don't want to wait that long. So I asked if I place the order online, can you make the drink for me. He said yea. So I went ahead and ordered online. But they refuse to make the drink until they get the printout, even though I showed them I have paid on my phone. There is no one in the store, I was the only customer, but they still want to just stand around. I asked how long, they said they don't know. The unwillingness to accommodate and confusion of how different ordering platforms work is frustrating. read more
