The place smells amazing right when you walk in! Cute popcorn shop with a ton of different flavors to pick from. Along with icecream flavors and miscellaneous candy treats. They will make it fresh for you as well- thank you Tom! He was very kind answering all of our questions and making a customer feel like a customer (not always something you receive these days). It was hard to only pick a few popcorns to bring home with me, but I ended up purchasing the s'mores and cheese and caramel blend, and impulse purchased the chocolate turtle at checkout. I appreciate how samples of the popcorn are out as well. Everything was fantastic and this will be a must stop for me when I'm in Kenosha!

The store wasn't closing for another hour but I was told a bag was popped not even 15 minutes ago. I live in the area and normally walk around the corner and get a fresh bag of hot popped popcorn. I also was told that it would take 15 minutes to make. A popcorn store needs 15 minutes to make popcorn. It was a gift I said no problem. Waited. Paid but several items and when we got home in walking distance the popcorn was STALE. Yeahhh I will never go back or recommend again 15 years of being a patron in the community interesting outcome.

You know what I hate about popcorn? The non-stop picking popcorn kernals or hulls out of your teeth…read moreand gums. Yet, with Pop's that's never an issue as somehow they have worked some voodoo and found the most perfect kernals on the market. Pop's has some of the largest varieties of kettle corn flavors I have ever seen, but most importantly they have nailed the essentials. From caramel, to yellow cheddar, to OG sweet and salty, and a mix of the three, the flavors are outstanding. My daughter can't get enough of the yellow cheddar, which is coated thick with cheese. I'm also a cheese fan, but I gravitate to the bag of colby jack. Those other flavor varieties I mentioned earlier? It includes the crazy unique flavors of Soul Boxer brandy old fashioned, HOT TomKens on white cheddar, coffee stout, puppy chow, guacamole lime on white cheddar, honey garlic, peanut butter, taco, coconut oil and sea salt, dill pickle, birthday cake, maple bacon, pizza burger, and seasonal limited time offerings like chocolate peppermint, gingerbread, apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice and so much more. Who knew kettle corn could come in so many delicious varieties? Does a flavor sound intriguing yet you're unsure? They offer their kettle corn in multiple sizes (from the perfect single serving to the massive bag for the whole family) as well as some samples. Best yet, is the service. Mark, Megan and the whole family are so dang friendly, polite, and truly support the community they are in! Looking for a custom order with special popcorn colors and your logo for your business, fundraiser, wedding, baby shower, etc.? Pop's is your place. During these crazy COVID-19 times they are no longer accepting walk-ins, yet you can call or text in your order to 414-552-2079 and pick up curbside. Forgot your phone? Pull up, give a honk and they will be right out! Plus, they have been bringing in area food trucks daily for lunch including Double B's, Matty's, Bass Bay Brewhouse, Hidden Kitchen, Milk Can Hamburgers & Frozen Custard and more. I highly recommend Pop's Kettle Corn.

I was super surprised to see all of the offerings and the store layout totally isn't what I had expected. I've been to the places where they have glass counters and scoop up bags from behind - there is none of that here. The walls are adorned with bags of every variety of popcorn you could imagine from your standard white for $4 up to larger bags that will set you back over $15. My eyes were set on the Fat Boy (Double Cheese) but movie theater butter sounded fantastic too. Luckily, they will let you sample the offerings. I got what I call a small bag (there was a smaller bag) for about $9. Honestly, I don't want to know what's in this popcorn but you can't eat it out of the bag or you'll have cheesy hands. It definitely filled my desire. Based on past reviews, it sounds like this is a new location. This truly is a super cool, local business. It may be too convenient for me.

CITY SLICKER I have…read moredriven by here many times but i have never stopped. Recently I needed zucchini. We were having company over and I wanted to add grilled zucchini to the menu. When I stopped in I was amazed at the large selection of items they had. They also had a bunch of great looking zucchini. The normal price for them was $1.29 a pound but they were on special for 75 cents a pound. I grabbed 3 nice size ones and the total price was $1.83. Now that was a deal. I should have grabbed more. I was also able to meet the owner Chris. She was very friendly and helpful. She actually stopped in to drop off more zucchini. She was also there to see how the store was doing. We also started talking about cooking food and using fresh veggies. As she was talking to me she was looking through the peppers. She picked up two giant green peppers that were going bad and asked me if I could do something with them. I told her Yeah and she gave them to me. In fact, I took them home and roasted them on the fire pit. I also served them to our guests later that day and they loved them. In fact, the guests used them on there brats. I know roasted peppers are not a traditional topping but I must admit they tasted fantastic on the brats. Thanks Chris for giving me these and adding to our already delicious menu. This store is seasonal. I am not sure when they close down but I'm sure when it starts to get cold. I also learned that Chris is the daughter of the famous Jerry Smith who has the farm North of this location. So all of there fresh seasonal veggies come from there. Jerry Smith's farm has a great pumpkin patch for the kids to visit in October. If you haven't been there then I recommend you load up the Family and make a trip there. They also have a Corn Festival coming up in August too. Those events take place at the Jerry Smith Farm and not here. I also have a Yelp Review posted for that location. Okay back to Green Acres. The selection was huge. They had a variety of potatoes and onions, Roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, 4 foot tall Dill, corn, hot peppers, green peppers, pickles, watermelon and zucchini. Everything looked amazing. In addition to the fresh vegetables this location also carried flats of flowers too. I really wanted the palm tree for $330.00 It looks so cool plus I would always feel like I'm on vacation if I owned it. So if you are driving down the road and you see a little shack at the side of the road it's Green Acres. It is the place to be. It's like farm living which is the life for me. Yeah I may get allergic from the smell of hay. I do love the country but I also love my big city too. There are some song lyrics mixed in there above...enjoy!!! See Green Acres makes me want to break out in song. I'm happy that people seem to be getting healthier. Places like this are helping us move in the right direction. We need to learn how to make food again and not out of a box but from scratch. It is not only rewarding to do this but it tastes amazing. So I appreciate Green Acres and I can not wait to stop back.
