Very average breakfast. I had the migas, bland and covered with cheap American cheese, best part was fresh crunchy bell pepper and onion. Bacon was served in a couple of weird little clumps. One clump was crunchy but the other very tough and chewy, obviously low grade bacon. Their green sauce used to be much better. Now it's kinda chunky and not smooth and creamy as before. I requested butter for the tortillas (heavy, not light and fluffy) and never saw the server again, another lady checked me out. Overall an underwhelming breakfast experience, you can do better.

I'm very picky with breakfast tacos because there's a criteria they must meet. Well...at least or me, a self-proclaimed expert on true TexMex breakfast tacos! 1. Fresh, soft, pillowy, warm, made in house tortillas that are never nuked in the microwave (cuz why would anyone ever do that?) 2. Must have an option for eggs a la mexicana 3. Must have legit red and green salsa and one should be spicy 4. Must have some level of sabor without an overwhelming sense that you need to add salt and pepper. These breakfast tacos only met #2. But disappointing after that. They appear to meet all of the criteria. But they lack any flavor, the bacon was like moist jerky (inedible), and the tortillas were tough to chew (also inedible). How did that happen?? Unfortunately, I had to discard this seemingly perfect breakfast taco. And not for a lack of trying to make it work. Sorry folks. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them but don't hold your breath.

Make sure you ordered from Coco Loco - Welch Rd., they have another restaurant in Bryan on Texas Ave

Ok, ok. Y'all this is my go to for Mexican. They are always amazing. If you haven't ordered the papas loco (crazy potatoes) in the am you are missing out.

The green sauce here keeps me coming back, and the brisket tacos are exactly what you need to kick your morning off to a great start.

My son ordered the scallops and to say they were gritty was an understatement. And the service...well when we could flag our waitress down we got service. Otherwise she was nowhere to be found. My husband flagged down another waitress after we had been sitting there for 15 minutes without any water or drinks. We also had to flag her down for the check. Considering the price tag for the night, I expected the service to be better.

The only complaint you will hear from me is simply that it was freezing in there. It's January and we had just had the big ice freeze, but with that being said they couldn't keep it warm and we wound up leaving our jackets on and asking for hot water just so we could warm our hands. I had an apple mimosa and a lavender latte. Both were amazing. I love that I can come in and order alcohol in the morning with my breakfast. I also ordered the spuds deluxe. I got my hash browns crispy and my eggs over hard. I also got them with ham and fresh jalapeños. They were everything I wanted. Our server was very professional and checked on us several times throughout the meal refilling our coffee and water. Despite the freezing weather we will be back. Definitely give it a try if you are wanting a nice breakfast with lots of options. Next time I'm gonna try the habanero pork belly fried rice. Our friend got it and it smelled so good! Not to mention he said it was delicious and ate all of it. No tastes for anyone. Ha ha

It was a little warm out but was still manageable. Unfortunately, the drink menu was severely lacking right off the bat. They didn't even have basic latte or mocha options available and only had standard house blend coffee or cold brew. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the lobster omelet and the smoked salmon Benedict. The sauce on the omelet was tasty at first but got very heavy as the meal went on. The Benedict was a huge letdown too! I knew from the menu that it didn't come with hollandaise sauce, but when the plate arrived, it looked totally bland and thrown together like a homemade meal. It is definitely not worth the $20 price tag after tax. To make matters worse, the breakfast potatoes were cooked more like small fries, which wasn't what I expect with brunch. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I won't be returning.
