I got a gel pedicure on December 3, 2022 and within a week the polish on one of my toe nails was chipping. The overall experience while I was getting my pedicure was great. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the quality of their work isn't very good. As of today, December 31, 2022 the polish on three of my toenails is chipping which is unacceptable. I could have gotten regular polish and spent less money since the gel lasted just as long as regular polish. I wouldn't recommend this nail shop. read more

Decided to try this salon out last Thursday as I work in the area. I arrived at 5:50pm for a gel pedi and mani. I waited out in the front for about 7 min before they brought me back to the pedi chair. The salon was busy but they never told me there would be such a long wait. They had me sitting in the pedi chair for about 30 min before a lady came to apply acetone on my toes. She did that and left to work on another client. Sat there for another 40 MINUTES. at that point I couldn't leave because my toes had acetone and foil paper on them. I had to wait it out. Finally, after the long 40 minutes pass a tech gets there to start on the pedi. This is what prompted me to leave a review. The pedicure was SO UNSANITARY. NOT relaxing at all. The tech cut my toenails then dumped them in the pedicure water and would have me put my feet back in the water. She used the brush and would get it wet with the same water. Then when it came down to drying off my legs and feet she used the same dirty towel for everything. Whereas most places go grab a fresh hot towel. I just wish the lady who greeted me (who might've been the owner) would've told me they were too busy. I would have appreciated the honesty and went to another salon. They do great nails and the staff is kind. Docking stars because I only asked for just my dip to be taken off and a cuticle cut. They surprised me with a $30 charge - I told her I asked for a simple cuticle cut, not a manicure. She said there's no difference. They do great nails but I told her they need to be transparent with their prices and services. If I wanted a manicure, I would have asked and paid for that. Got matte black nails yesterday and they messed up the first time so i went back today to get them redone and the lady did a sloppy job, didnt clean up well around my nails and even left a part of my nail shiny (meaning she missed it with the matte polish) and didnt seem too happy i came back so i felt very uncomfortable even though the original mistake wasnt my fault. I've been coming here for years and the customer service used to be way better. Annie was extremely rude at my last pedicure. I kept asking her to take off more dead skin, reshape my nails and she insisted that she was not ABLE to. When you're spending $200 on your nails every 2-3 weeks you would except them to treat you better. Very sad because this used to be a good place. I had my nails done here about 2 times now and both of the times the wait was awful. The second time was worse than the first. I waited about 3 hours to get my nails done ! How does this happen? I'll tell you. So I first walked in and said I needed a pedicure and a new acrylic nails the host girl said probably about 30 minute wait, I thought cool I'll go run an errand and be back! So when I came back she sat me in the spa chair for my pedicure. I waited for what seemed to be an hour before they even got to my pedicure! They started to do my pedicure so I got excited the end was near. She's almost done with my pedicure now, still no nails. So I got frustrated and asked how much longer for my nails? Someone rushed over to soak my nails improperly so it was really pointless to soak them because they where not coming off and turned into this big gooey mess. So now I'm really stuck. She finished my toes moved me to the nail chair . I was so annoyed! Cuz I waited a little longer after for my nails too! I was thinking the wait was going to be 30 minutes in the beginning not forever. If I known this I would have left and went somewhere else but they started services on me slowly so I couldn't leave. One of the technicians finally told me after I was pissed that there is only one lady there that can do acrylic nails and that's why it was taking so long. I'm like y'all should have said that in the beginning cuz now I wasted my entire day here waiting around ! But the front girl didn't know that. My whole experience there was from 2pm - I didn't leave till 6pm! The girl at the front has no idea about nails either so don't ask her anything about them. Moral of the story make an appointment! And i won't be back. They didn't do anything to make my experience better there either . So I'm usually a very BIG fan of coco nail spa. When I lived in Houston previously this was my go to spot. I just moved back and was excited to visit. So excited I brought my friends. How ever my recent experience has made me less than happy. The customer service was beyond poor, my friend initially had a problem and I tried to defend coco nail spa and then the poor customer service also transferred to me. The lady who did my toes put little to no effort in my pedicure, which I tried to overlook. I then asked them to correct the length on my big toe cus it was visibly longer than the other. AFTER sitting for at least 15-20 mins I had to ask for a third time for someone to adjust it. Only for the tech to come over and try to argue me that at first the left toe was actually longer and then to tell me that they're both the same height. read more

I went on Saturday evening to CoCo and had an amazing experience. Hana was the woman who did my dip manicure and she did an awesome job. I wanted square square shape and it's probably one of the best nail jobs I've gotten. I also had a few that were broken that needed tip to make even and she applied them at no charge. I usually go to Q Nails on West Gray but they are closed to remodel. You get better service and a lot more for a price that's slightly less. I had a shellac manicure and deluxe pedicure and it wasn't that great. First, I wasn't offered a drink but I watched as they seated others and offered them a drink. I wasn't given time to pick out a color for my toes before I was rushed to be seated to get started. The manicurist just assumed that I wanted square nails. They usually ask but I happen to glance down and asked her to make them round for me but she kept cutting my cuticles to the point where it felt like they were being cut deep and then filed my nails to where the file was hitting my cuticles and scraping them. The pedicure was mediocre at best. I told them from the beginning that the skin underneath my toenails grew high so be careful cutting my toenails. The person doing my toes almost cut into my skin then she starts filing them and filing right into that skin under the nail. I told her again in Vietnamese hoping she'd understand this time and the manicurist had to tell her the direction to file my toenails so that it wouldn't hit the skin. The person doing my pedicure barely did anything for my feet. There was still a lot of dry skin on my heels and I had to go home and just finish the job myself. The polish is super streaky with bubbles. The topcoat looks incomplete and it doesn't reach the cuticles so it creates a slight ridge right before the polish ends and the side of my toes wasn't even polished thoroughly. I asked at check-out if they honor 15% off for new customers as they advertised on Yelp and their website. The front desk girl said she'd ask. She didn't and charged me the full price anyway. I was ready to leave at this point so I wasn't going to ask again. The manicure is fine but the cuticle job is shoddy and the pedicure is not great. I'll just wait for Q Nails to open back up. read more

Decided to come here on a whim since it was on the way to the grocery store. After a long couple of days , I needed some self care to recharge. Walking in, I knew I was going to enjoy myself. The decor is extremely cute and clean. The place itself seems pretty new. I decided on just the basic pedicure and manicure package and Han did a great job taking care of me. She took her time to make sure everything looked great. Their regular polish selection seemed smaller to me compared to other places. I didn't get a chance to see what dip and shellac selection they had though. I already had the color in mind that I wanted so I was glad I was able to find it. Another great thing was their message chairs! At least for me, I've never been to one that messages your bottom. Now I didn't know I needed that but I liked it so I appreciated that feature. I walked out feeling great and relaxed and then my dumb self managed to ruin one of the nails before I could see take a picture. Next time I'll make sure I go straight home. I went in and decided on a "Coco Deluxe Manicure" and a "OPI Deluxe Pedicure" both second level from basic. The person who did the job was very friendly and sweet, she was constantly checking on me and making conversation (4 start customer service), but the job was not worth the price. After 3 days literally my nails began to chip off and crack. I would understand if it was a week , but it was a matter of 3 days I started noticing chipping and peeling.
