I got a shellac manicure and pedicure with builder gel on my nails and chrome as well. My pedicure was very good, but my manicure was very sloppily done. There was no base coat put under the chrome so when I walked out of the salon, it was see-through and the person doing my nails did not get the side or the tip of my nails . First time getting a manicure in many years with being a chef. Asked for the basic manicure and dip powder full set and PAID FOR IT. All i got was a dip powder full set, that they said cuticle care was $5 extra even though i asked for the basic and didn't get any of the added extras. Depending on your budget this may or may not be the place for you. With that said...I love coming here to get my manicures and pedicures. I've been coming here for almost a year now with my sister. After a long week of work this is where we meet up to catch up. Personally ive had nothing but great experiences. Everytime I've come here i walk in and I always get service right away. No matter what photo of nail art I want I always get exactly what I want or above and beyond what I thought I wanted. I never do a reservation bc I don't have the time but they are always willing to accommodate. The nail staff here are always updated to the newest nail trends and I've always received what I wanted. With that said Ñ, if you don't value nail art and its value, then this might not be the place for you. Tip not included a manicure can cost me about $90 (for me bc I always get the latest nail art) or pedicure around $50 ( bc k try to get the best stone massage and catering) . I personally value this service as an art and as a splurge. With that in mind I would definitely recommend this place. I have my favorite nail artists (Bao) but if he's not available the rest of the team is amazing and always looking for ways to make recommendations on what would look best for you and they have never failed. read more

Have been a regular here for 4 years. Today I paid $80 for an acrylic refill with French tips. I've never paid this much for nails. I cross referenced the prices on the website and was told that they were out of date. She broke down the price for me: $45 for acrylic refill $25 for French $5 to shape $5 for length A charge for shape!? Is that not required just to complete my nails!?? And an extra $5 for length? I had them CUT SHORTER and they are my natural nails! No tips! Absolutely ridiculous. And I'll add a photo of my nails. They're completely basic. I understand inflation and prices increasing. But charging me extra for "length" when I requested the OPPOSITE of length is just deceitful. It's like a restaurant charging you a fee bc you requested NOT to have cheese on something. THEY DO NOT RESPECT APPOINTMENT TIMES AND WILL MAKE UP "VERBAL" POLICIES AT THEIR CONVENIENCE. I have been a loyal client of Gigi's since 2021 and love my ex-nail ladies Haley and Thao. They both do excellent work and I am sad to no longer be a client of theirs. Where Gigi's falls short is on their management/front desk girl. I arrived at 11:15 for my 11:30 appointment and did not get my service started until almost 12:00. I'm assuming Haley had to take a walk-in shortly before my appointment. Regardless, my appointment time was not respected. I told Haley that I felt they should give some kind of discount for my time. When I got to the checkout the front desk girl asked, "why would I give you a discount? Theres been times you were late or cancelled same day and I never charged you even though that's our policy." First of all, I have never been 30 minutes late. I haven't even been more than 5 minutes late in over 6 months. (I know this because Gigi's calls you at 5 mins late.) Second of all, the one time I cancelled same-day, my grandfather was in the ICU across town. I guess I should have left his side to make my appointment? Not to mention the countless times somebody else has started my soak off because Haley was running late on my appointment. Furthermore, the front desk girl was unable to provide a written policy for charging a late/cancellation fee nor evidence of me being late/cancelling. She said "it's verbal policy". Has never once been mentioned to me in 3 years. So BEWARE because this salon makes up "verbal" policies at their convenience. Last of all, what kind of professional responds in this way to an established client? Me being late 6 months ago has nothing to do with you not respecting my appointment TODAY. If my "tardiness" was a problem, it would have been addressed THEN, not held over my head in the future. This place gives zero cares about maintaining clientele and I will warn everybody I know to stay away. Even if a discount was out of the question, she could have offered complimentary rewards points, a free pedicure upgrade, etc. So many other ways to keep a client happy when you have clearly messed up. I gave the salon over a week to reach out to me (I filled out their survey privately first) and nothing. They do not care about you! I have been coming to Gigi since they opened with my friends. The nail techs I've had have all been amazing! They do a shoulder massage with most of the pedicures and it is incredible. If one of my normal techs isn't there, they always provide a wonderful alternative. They are always very accommodating of me and know that I come during lunch from work. My nail tech always helps me pick a color that goes well with my skin. They've always made an effort to get to know me, ask about my family and work. One time, I forgot to schedule a brow wax with my appointment and the tech said, "don't worry, you are the customer and we will take care of you!" That is what Gigi is all about! So I really needed to get a manny pedi ASAP and Gigi's was good about getting me seated immediately. BUT... my experience there was so awful that I legitimately cried while paying. I got there and started showing what I wanted to the nail tech.... And just just rushed me and told me to choose a color.. I had a few photos to show and hoped that they would keep that in mind and execute the style I was going for, or at least make me feel as if they were taking it I to consideration. First: I get it's a small space but it was so cramped they sat me next to a girl coughing and no mask. When I asked to sit further away I was just ignored and looked at as if I was burdening them. They didn't listen to what I wanted so fine I chose to just get a solid color. The lady asked me what size and style I wanted and I was trying to tell her what I wanted and she basically just rushed and I barely got a chance to say what I wanted. When I mentioned that the nails were too short she told me " well that's why I asked how long you wanted them". I mean if I had enough time to really get to see the length she had it maybe I would have been able to be sure. I didn't even get to really get a question in or a suggestion. When choosing the color since the original style I wanted was never confirmed, I said let me just choose a color. The nail tech just threw the samples at me and stared as if I was just wasting her time. It made me feel so uncomfortable. When it came time for the pedicure [this part is a nightmare] the original lady said she couldn't do the acrylic to shape... so they brought this guy. The man didn't even soak my feet or clean the sides nothing! I told him I had an incident that my toe was jammed! He proceeded to just put on the acrylic toe just like that!!!! They when he did go through the process of the pedicure he used a used tool just changed the sticker! UNSANITARY!!!! The whole time they looked at me my toes and just spoke in Vietnamese. They had time to converse with each other but not once took i to consideration anything that I asked for or cared for my comfort. Then when it came to polishing my toes I asked for it to be the same as the nails. We finally settled a color and turns out they didn't have anything close to it and what they did have they were out of. So I proceeded to just settle for a pearl white, I chose the color and said "I just don't want the white out white" please. And what did I get.... The white out white. When checking my nails I noticed the shaping was off and the sizing was uneven. When I pointed it out to her she just made my pointer finger even shorter. Keep in mind every time I pointed something out to this woman she would roll her eyes and was very obviously flustered. And that's that I barely got to point anything out. I told her can you please not make it so squared more rounded a natural style. She would go on to say yea yea and then carry on with her conversation with her colleagues. I felt so embarrassed. Then I saw the finished product and told her this color is faded... she told me well that's how it is. Then I had to ask someone if they could fix the dent in my nails! Like wth Now my toes are seriously messed up in a lot of pain, and I had to go to a doctor to treat it because they said whatever they used wasn't sanitary, they didn't clean accordingly, and just put the nail on an open wound with out even treating it. In the past I had an issue with my toe like this and the girl at my other nail salon really took care of it and it was perfect! Here! It cost me more just to have to go to a clinic! I was made to feel uncomfortable I didn't get what I wanted When I tried to mention something I was just shut down I didn't want to be rude or say something because I saw that it was so chaotic it gave me anxiety I didn't feel as if I was even pampering myself either When I went to go pay the girl asked me if I wanted to join the rewards program! I kid u not I legit cried paid the full thing and tipped and just cried! I barely have any time to get my nails done because of my busy schedule and when I did I dealt with this. And it cost a pretty penny too... but not worth a dime! Please remember women are coming to feel comfortable, pampered, and satisfied with service, product and atmosphere. It was just awful. Maybe pay attention to your patrons and less talking about them. And sanitize your tools please. And just be nice to your patrons. read more

I've been to this establishment maybe three times in the year I've lived near and were satisfied with my results each time up until the last visit. The nail tech failed to prep my natural nails correctly before applying the acrylic powder, which resulted in almost all of my nails lifting at the cuticle within two weeks. Three nails on my right hand actually popped clean off by the second week and there wasn't any logical reason other than the application. I don't believe most of the techs are experienced in applying acrylic, because there was a time I came in and had to have gel polish applied to my natural nails because the lady who did acrylic wasn't in. The pedicures and massages are nice. The lack of personal space is also notable. I bumped the nail tech working to my right a couple times throughout my pedicure. This business is worth a try, the setting and decor is nice and inviting...maybe you'll have a better experience during your visit. If I'm paying almost $150 for my nails and toes to be molded and polished I expect it to be damn near perfect and last a bit longer than two weeks. read more

I came here for the first time and had a poor experience. My pedicure was done by Sam and she was rude and haste with me. She rushed through with my service while spilling some acetone on my feet. She hurt my cuticles as she was removing the shellac from my manicure and when I pulled my hand back and said, "Ouch!" Sam never apologized nor was sympathetic. I was never offered any drinks while I was being serviced. I didn't like how my pedicure turned out; it looked sloppy as some toe nails were not fully covered and Sam did a poor job filing my toenails. The only reason I came here was it is right next to Five Guys and I just finished getting a vanilla milkshake so I figured why not come here instead of driving a few minutes extra to go to my usual nail spot. I have been coming here since they opened. My issue is not with my nails, they look fine. Last night (10/27/21), the person at the front charged me what was not on my ticket. She took my ticket, tried to hide it and charge me more. When I told her that was not what my ticket said, she got an attitude and told me he forgot to charge me for taking off my nails. I said, when did this charge start because I always come with old nails, and get new nails and its always the same price depending on the length (either $65 or $75), and I pay what the tech writes on my ticket. She very rudely and condescendingly said "Since we opened". I have never not paid what was on my ticket. There were a lot of people there and I didn't want to make a scene so I paid and left, in shock of the situation that was happening. Due to this, I will not be back. I am very loyal to my nail salons. In fact, since 2009, I have tried around twelve salons--then narrowed it down and frequented my favorite two (P*reL*x and Your Na*lt*me) over the past twelve years. This month, I went to Gigi's. What a mistake. After day two, my shellac begin peeling off entirely. I wasn't doing anything beyond the norm with my hands. This has never happened with any salon's shellac before Gigi's. I do not want to bother going back because it is not worth it. After a week, all of the shellac from all ten nails peeled completely. Most nails, it just lifted and peeled off in one piece. People at my hair salon, my brow artist, and others noticed my hands. I visited GiGi's for the first time last Friday and I was extremely satisfied. I'll definitely be going back, especially since Vicky did such an amazing job. I showed her a Pinterest example on the nails that I wanted and she was able replicate the style. She took the time to work on the little details, yet she managed to do them quick and efficiently. All of the staff are wearing masks and the customers are asked to wear masks while inside, which is keeping everyone safe.
