This is a well overdue review: I moved to Yonkers about 2 years ago after living in the nyc my entire life. I've always been super picky about mani pedi service and could never find someone I truly loved. When I moved, I just decided to visit the salon closest to me and see how it goes- best decision I've ever made. The service is great, I'm never disappointed. You schedule your appointment, you come in, and you leave in a timely manner because they are expecting you. Don't be late and don't cancel last minute- they have a strict policy and I appreciate that too! The manicurist is a perfectionist and super clean and careful. She's probably the best I've ever had my entire life lol not kidding. Also * TIP YOUR SERVICE PEOPLE* don't be that person! Then another girl did my gel manicure and I hate that I can't remember her name but she was incredible she seemed to be doing everyone's gel mani! I stopped coming here when I had a terribly unfriendly experience with the new owners years ago and now I came back because it's close to my house and convenient for me but I will now be looking for another nail salon again unfortunately. She is very friendly, professional, detailed, and attentive. I am always extremely happy with her work. She can mimic most designs depending on whether or not they have the supplies available. I go to her for my UV gel, and fill ins. I have never had a any complaints. I would suggest making an appointment because it is very hard for them accept a walk-in for anything other than a pedicure and simple manicure. When you have an appointment, you typically won't have to wait. They also do gel pedicures. They even have a rewards program. This is my go to read more

After my regular nail place in Eastchester was taken over by new management during the pandemic, I thought I'd give this place a try, as it is also close to my home. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, professional, and friendly everyone was. I have gone back a second time and needed an appointment before the weekend - they were very busy, but were able to squeeze me in same day. I appreciated their honesty about when they could accommodate me and I did not have to wait at all. Rosa and Sara were super, and my pedi and gel manicure came out fantastic. Will definitely return! I've been going here for about a year now. They've recently gone under new management as of Dec 2019. I think that they delegate the pedicures to the Latin women who work there...strange but they are super sweet, fast, and highly skilled. In my opinion, the pedicure is the best in the area. For $20 you get a great cleaning, scrubbing, short massage and color application. They used to be great at offering gel and dip powder manicures but the new employees seem to be a little in-skilled. Christine and (another woman, forgot her name) are skilled at UV gel extensions, and are usually booked up. Call ahead for appointments to beat the crazy wait times, especially on weekends. Quite frankly, if you are a POC make sure to assert yourself when you get there, because the new guy who works the books seems to be a little iffy with us. read more

Overall, very pleased with my gel French manicure! I came on a Saturday at around 130pm, and it was crazy busy, so there was a wait. But the lady who worked on my nails was fabulous, in terms of buffing nicely and getting the french line perfectly painted on the nail without having to use the acetone brush for touch ups. The only that I wasn't used to was not getting a cuticle soak--she did a dry cuticle removal, which I didn't care for. read more

I've been going to Coco for over 25 years! I loved the old owners! They were so friendly, accommodating, and personable! They did an amazing job, made you feel like home and always took care of you! Sara and Maria are my go to for pedicures. They're great at what they do and are very friendly! Christine and Cathy are great at gel mani's etc...I had Kelly for the first time today and was extremely disappointed! Not only did she come off nasty with an attitude but I had to go home and file my own nails because the shape was all uneven. I didn't ask her to do it because I didn't want to get an attitude for asking. Also, front of the house is very unwelcoming! It's a shame because this was my favorite nail salon but the customer service definitely needs a lot of work. read more
