Finally stopped in after I saw that they had been open for about 2 months. I got the Coco spa pedi. It was absolutely Devine. Just what I've been needing. I like that they use the creams and oil for the pedi. The 10 minute massage is great. I also got a regular manicure, which was ok. I'm a perfectionist with my nails and I do them myself, so it's always tough to go somewhere and be 100% happy with a mani. I would definitely go back. The space is very nice. Today was my first time visiting the Coco nails and spa. The place is immaculate, even the bathroom. I got a basic manicure and pedicure and was very happy with both services. The basic manicure included paraffin wax, which I think makes a big difference. I often worry about the polish used at walk-in salons. Here though I didn't think the polish was water down at all. It didn't start to bubble or anything! In fact my manicure and pedicure are both so shiny you might think they were gel. The services were well priced and fabulous. Came here with my mom to spend a gift certificate she had. Was hopeful because of all the positive reviews it had but was EXTREMELY let down. The man doing my nails seemed to have given up taking off my previous gel polish so there are still corners of black polish that are very noticeable. The coating is uneven & the man probably noticed it because he & the other workers were looking at my nails & talking but I never thought there was a problem. The ONLY reason it's getting 2 stars is because they did my moms gel manicure well even though they gave her the wrong shape after we had said round. I've been coming here since they first opened. My mother who has passed also came here since they first opened and I always for the most part liked the job they did and I always tipped a minimum of 18% even if I didn't like the job they did. And the prices just keep going up which I just paid but the last straw was when the girl at the front desk told me I had to pay an extra $5 to take the dip off because I was getting gel. pedicures are glorified nail polish changes. they do not touch your cuticles one bit which is essentially part of a full pedicure. the the prices they charge they should do a proper pedicure and a dress cuticles like every other salon I have ever been to. I gave it three tries, I just can't justify a glorified polish change and walk out with my cuticles still in the same shape as when I walked in. read more

They do an excellent job of sanitizing equipment and stations. I have only had great experiences with the staff, both friendly and very precise work. The girl that did my nails was amazing and I liked the salon but I just didn't like the experience I had I was seeing a different nail tech at a different salon and she had awesome nails and she moved away so I asked her where she went and she sent me here and I had an appointment I had to wait 30 minutes which was fine. I'm not a Karen. I rarely complain. I came in with a photo of what I wanted that the tech had done and she brought it to who I confirmed was the owner from her responses here on yelp to other peoples complaints. my tech came back and told me that my gel filled with gems on it would be $80 to which I obliged( even though a typical fill is $40) I gave my nail tech $25 as a tip. I was satisfied. The owner came over looked at my nails complimented them and I assume went to the front desk to tell them to charge me more after the fact when I went up to the front desk receptionist said I know she said it was going to be $80 but it's going to be $90 and I just kind of looked at her and said OK I'm not typically one to stay quiet, I was just kind of shocked, it wasn't about the money the nails were worth the money I don't care about the $10. I just found it to be sneaky and greedy. so I'm glad the owner got the extra $10 now they lost me as a repeat customer who would've spent a lot of money there also one of the gems sell off a day later so I had to go back in to get fixed. before I left, I spoke to the receptionist to tell her how I felt and she tried to tell me that the $10 was for the gems they didn't know I want to gems even though they did ( even though it was just a random excuse that would've meant they were charging me $80 for a normal fill that normally cost $40 and then $10 for gems which makes no sense ) i think the owner just decided she wanted to squeeze another 10 bucks out of me which i saw is common practice in other reviews. they also insisted I take a five dollar coupon which I said no thank you i also stated I didn't want my ($10) money back but Had they given it to me I would've just given it to my nail tech and they were very nice about it and one of the men that work there ran out to my car and gave the coupon to me even though I don't need a coupon because I won't be returning. It's unfortunate because the nail tech did a wonderful job and I would've like to continue seeing her but the OWNER changing the price after the nails are done and I was quoted a price for exactly what I asked for. I just wouldn't trust getting my nails done here again. again, it's not about the money. the nails were worth the money it's just about being transparent and giving the correct price for what I asked for upfront and then not tacking on random amounts of money at the end it's greedy and kind of dumb to lose a customer who would've spent lots of money in the long run over $10. read more

Went there for the first time today and WOW. Easy 5 stars. As with any new salon they always start off strong and I hope they stay that way since I had a great experience. Rocky (hopefully heard him right) was my nail tech and he did awesome! Got a dip powder manicure, in a brand new color (I was the first to use it woo!) and it came out perfect. The main thing that stuck out is how CLEAN this place is. They opened a package of brand new mani tools (clippers, cuticle pusher and cutter) which blew my mind. I've never been to a salon that's done that. That alone earned them 5 stars. The rest of the visit was just as wonderful, Rocky was friendly, paid attention to his work, and made sure my nails looked nice. They even have a punch card which is pretty cool. I love this place. Great pedicures. However 2 out of 2 times i have gotten gel polish done I have left incredibly disappointed. Having been to cosmetology school and taught how to apply gel polish properly, it disappoints me to see "professionals" apply it the way they do. My polish is clumpy, thick , and dripping while it's curing because the layers of polish aren't applied thinly. My nail tech rushed thru the filing and prepping part so when my polish was applied it showed all imperfections and ragged edges which were smooth when I got there. They rush thru so much I could not tell how awful my thumb came out until the service was done. Had me pay right away (no problem but I was clearly unhappy). So after paying I had them redo my thumb. My other nails are not great either but I already spent enough time I don't have anymore to spend on getting my polish redone. The man was unhappy to have to redo it of course. Saying how it was my nail shape and I tilted it while curing. Absolutely not. A different nail tech redid my thumb and it came out fine. My mother loves this place and I've enjoyed it as well and recommended many people to go here. However I will not be recommending them for gel at all. This was not a post I was expecting to ever write. PS he used the drill on me when I have never seen anyone use it for gel and never had it done to me when getting gel, neither my mother. I've tried to give this place a try because my friend has had good experiences in the past but after today I won't be returning. I called and made an appointment for a gel manicure and had dip on from a previous salon and when I got there they insisted on doing a fill with dip powder which isn't even an option because it needs to be soaked off... after finally agreeing to soak off my nails they told me it would be an additional 10$ which is fine but when they tried to take a fake nail and pop off the tips I had on I asked if they could soak it off to not damage my real nail underneath and I was told it would be an additional 5$ because it "takes longer" I ended up telling them to cancel the gel manicure and just soak off my nails. Not to mention the last time I was here and got a white gel manicure after 3 days my white nails somehow turned a nasty yellow and I don't use any fake tan or have done anything for my nails to turn such a color. I did not have acrylic on my nail... I am allergic to acrylic and I stated that I had dip on my nails which is exactly what I had... I'm giving two stars because of the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the salon. I went to coco nails because the salon I usually go to is apparently closed on Sunday's. At the salon I normally go to, I usually get the dip, not polish, and so does everyone else, so the staff is all very good at doing the dip. My pedicure came out good, very expensive tho. I was given a menu to choose from and there is no 'basic' pedicure option. I think I spent 45 on the pedicure? It took almost an hour I think. Then, the manicure. At first it looked nice, but then after a few days the clear part started turning yellow, I've never had this problem before. I have an office job, I'm not doing anything to make my nails dirty. I also have never had so many hangnails in my life. 2 weeks later and my nails look like this. I wouldn't usually mind so much but I think my manicure was like 50$!!! Do yourself a favor and do not go here! I got my nails done on Thursday the 24th. Overall the staff was good. With COVID and all, took temperatures, provided hand sanitizer, etc. They took me right away. After sitting in the chair is when things went downhill. I made an appointment for a refill with gel. The FIRST guy that started doing my nails said, "no we cannot do refill over this". Strange because I've had soooooo many refills done before and all of a sudden they can't do a refill over the current acrylics(that I previously got done elsewhere) I had on. I asked why and he couldn't give me a real answer. And then another guy came over to do my nails, he tried to explain but that was no help either. I wasn't going to argue so I said okay. They took off my current acrylics and started to do a new full set. That process wasn't terrible but it's not until he was applying the "acrylic powder". Like I said I've done acrylics PLENTY of times before and I never had this type done. I asked him why he was doing it this way, he said "it lasts longer". Again, wasn't going to argue because maybe that's just the way this salon does it. As he's applying the "acrylic" is getting thicker and thicker and feeling a little heavy on my nails but I'm like okay he's going to shave it down. NOPE. He asked what shape I wanted. I said square. And proceed to do the exact OPPOSITE of a square(pics below). He was rushing the entire process. So finally he starts to put the gel polish on, again I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that since technically he's not done so he still has work to do. NOPE. He's done putting the gel and top coat and tells me I'm finished and he can do my toes now. I didn't get up right away. I just sat and looked at my "square nails". He asked if something was wrong, I said can you fix the shape. He goes okay after your toes. So he does my toes. And that was a good experience. The massage was good. Then he "fixes" my nails. So I pay and leave. Wasn't completely happy but it is what it is. Fast forward to TWO DAYS later, MY NAILS ARE CHIPPING! I wish I took pictures(besides the one where you can see there isn't even polish on my thumb at all)I but I didn't because my nails looked so gross and it was embarrassing to have to go to work like that. I called them on the 28th, a women picked up and I said my nails are chipping and I just got them done 2 days ago, SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE. So now I'm really angry. So I called back and a guy picked up, I said I just called and someone hung up on me. He said hold on. Another women came on, I proceeded to explain that I had JUST got my nails done and she said okay can you come in today and I said no I couldn't because I was working all day today and tomorrow so she says she has to talk to the owner. I asked why and she said it's because it's going to be a while before we see you and I said yeah that's why I'm calling now because it's chipping now. So she said okay. So I go in on the 1st. Same guy comes over to do my nails. He asks if I remember what color and I'm like no but if you show me the gel book I can pick it. He doesn't give me the gel book he just goes right to picking the color. He doesn't even pick the right color and I honestly just did not feel like arguing once again. He "re-does" the ones that chipped. Which was all on my right hand except the pinky and the thumb on my left hand. So yeah I have two different colors on my hands. You have to look REALLY close to notice it. Ever since I got my nails done the first time around my thumb on my right hand was hurting but I didn't think anything of it because maybe he caught a little bit of my skin with the drill. But I woke up today and what do you know, my thumb nail looks infected. GREAT! All in all, my toes came out great though :) but if your looking for acrylics with gel or anything else on your hands, save yourself a trip and go somewhere else. read more

Got a dip manicure here, barely lasted a week before nearly all of them cracked or broke. I've been getting dip for years and this has never happened. Went back to the salon to get another manicure, told multiple people my situation and they still made me pay for the dip removal and my new manicure. I've never had such a painful experience in a nail salon. Both my mani and pedi were bordering on torture. This girl ripped at my cuticles and even caused me to bleed! In my opinion if u leave bleeding u shouldn't even have to pay because that is so beyond UNACCEPTABLE! But I just didn't feel like fighting or making a scene so I paid and left. Overall the actual paint job isn't bad but I will never go back because of how much pain this girl caused me. Wish I knew her name so I could bring attention to her inabilities, if u can't not make people bleed u shouldn't work as a nail tech. Also she grinded down on my nails for a solid 40 minutes to the point where it felt like my nails were on fire! And when I had to put my nails under the UV lights it BURNED even worse! I went in originally for a gel manicure but decided to just do basic. Once I stated that I wanted to do basic it all went downhill from there. She rushed through the entire process which affects the whole experience of what I was looking for. After she was done filing my nails she did a little spritz massaged my the tiniest bit of lotion on my hands with all the nail particles on it. I will not even call it a massage because I've had manicures plenty of times in my life and that was just a "to say I did it". Barely massaged my hands or the little bit of lotion she put on it. I got my nails and toes done before leaving on a trip. This was my first time here. My pedicure came out great, no issues at all. When it came time for my nails, I asked to have the dip. I had it done previously in Plymouth Ma and they did an phenomenal job. So I figured this would be the same. I was wrong, I was leaving for a cruise within the next week and I just wanted a nice dip done before I left. Instead I ended up in the medical area of the boat- and $400 (they do not take your insurance on cruises) later I was given antibiotics for the cellulitis that started on my thumb on the side of my nail from getting the dip done. I had a red infection line going up my arm also. I'm not trying to trash this place, the people are really nice and very welcoming. But something needs to be done about the cleanliness. Half of my trip was ruined because of this infection. It was so painful. Just be careful. read more

I have gone here a couple times for pedicures (always over priced) I decided to treat myself and my daughter last week before vacation. I called and made appointments in advance. We arrived and waited 25 minutes for service . I ended up trying the dip powder nails, they charged me 20$ extra for a design on my nails... the nail polish design chipped 3 hours after leaving. I came back the next day and they fixed it. The following day 2 more nails chipped. I'm a busy mom working full time- I don't have time to go back to the nail salon 3 times a week for them to fix the nails they charged me 85$ for!!!!! Also, it's been 1.5 weeks since my powder dip manicure and my nail polish has all yellowed. Also they never actually trimmed my cuticles or actually gave me a manicure, they just put the fake nails on and sent me on my way! I wont be returning here. read more

The prices are a little higher than other places but it's well worth it. A pedicure is $45 and a regular manicure was $15. But again- amazing. I had a pedicure and a UB gel fill last Tuesday. Today is Monday and I've just left for my fourth visit since Tuesday . Within 2 days a nail broke and one started peeling. I went back had one replaced and the chipped nail was filed. The following day the peeled nail also broke so I was back there on Friday. On Sunday another nail broke so I went back in today. When I was there the man who did my nails argued with me that I did not have a fill and needed one. My nails are to the cuticle and can easily tell I do not need a fill. They are super nice and attentive but on the same token very inexperienced. The service isn't consistent since I had four different people work on me the 2 hours I was there. Someone starts the job and then another person finishes it. The person doing my pedicure never bothered to ask me if wanted to trim or just shape my nails. She cut them super short and my toes look ugly. It also felt a bit rushed, Which I really disliked. As I was getting my pedicure someone soaked my gel manicure, then another person began to remove it, and finally someone else took over. As he was shaping my nails he got a little carried away and leaned towards to the point where I could feel him breathe. That felt uncomfortable.
