I started going to this salon a few weeks ago and I've had really good experiences. I love that they do their booking online, and it's so convenient for me to book my appointments with the person I want. I went to Lika and then their new person Jasmine and both times my appointment started immediately and my tech paid close attention to me. They continuously checked to make sure I was satisfied with the shape, color, and thickness of my nails so I left satisfied. I have religiously been going here since the first time I found this local small business close to where I live. With great prices and great owners, how could you go anywhere else? Every request I've ever had, they've fulfilled. I tend to get plain and simple, but I've seen other customer get complex and beautiful nail designs, shapes and colors. The Facebook scheduling is SO easy, and they are very quick to respond. You don't even need to pick up the phone to call, just pick the best time that suits you, and if they have an appointment in at that time already, they will suggest other times they are available! I was so excited to try this place and unfortunately they let me down. The person that did my nails (Ba) was very personable but didnt do the best job, seeing as my nails were lifting less than a week after my full set was done. When I called to ask if they could squeeze me in to fix the ONE nail she said that she was booked and busy and did not have availability for another 4 days. She never offered to fix it or even squeeze me in. On top of that, the price on their booking site says that a full set with gel is $50. I was charged $60 and even gave her a $10 tip! I am particular about my nails, and I am also very loyal to who I go to. I began researching nail salons in my area that were going to open, and had great reviews! I found Venus Nails on a Yelp search, and I honestly do not regret it! I had a pedicure four weeks ago, and it was so nice! The woman who did my pedicure was very talkative, made me feel welcome, and it was overall a wonderful experience! Expensive, which is ok with me for a great job, but they were not detail oriented and also messed up our appointment so we ended up there for almost 2 hrs for a mani pedi. They took my husband first even though I was having gel which takes much longer, and then he was stuck sitting there for an hour waiting for me to be done. I had booked 2 mani pedis together, like we always do. I would have forgiven that if I could have relaxed and enjoyed the experience, but that wasn't the case. With input from me (which I have never had to do at a salon) my nails came out ok, but I had to ask for more clean up and filing before the polishing started so it would look ok. They also filed the tips of my toenails after they were polished so I had to go buy more polish when I left so I could salvage the job and replace the tips myself- that has never happened before. My polishing was done well, no bumps or imperfections, but all in all, if it had been cheap I would have said, well, you get what you pay for. But we definitely did not get what we paid for. Had I been paying attention to my husband's mani pedi, I would have asked them do it over again. His nails weren't cut straight and were not even close to his nail bed, so lucky me got to do this when we got home. And I am pretty sure it was the owner that took care of him. I agree that they were very friendly and nice as the other reviews said. They also had good parking and the salon seemed to be very clean. But I will never go back there. read more

Not a the best place to get your nails done ... had the longest wait , just ended up leaving.

This was my first visit and found the salon impeccable. I wasn't too happy with the person who did my pedicure, as I didn't get her name. After a couple of days my toe started to hurt. Felt like the beginning of an ingrown toenail. I will try again as it is convenient, however, I don't know how to handle the request for another manicurist. read more

It's too bad. Just when u think you finally find someone you like and can have a rapport with they book in someone else over your pre scheduled appointment and blame it on a computer error. I always used to call but they stated to use their convenient online booking system. I did and all of a sudden my appointment isn't valid and I get a text saying they cannot take me until 5 due to an error in their system. They did not try to fix the mistake. They did however, offer me someone else I never worked with. That's a great way to keep a client by pushing them to the side like a piece of trash. Please don't go here. They do not care about their clients just pumping in as much money as possible. read more

Sadly I didn't have the best experience here. I called to make a same day Appt for dip on acrylic nails and reg pedi.. whoever I spoke with set me up at 2, then it was rescheduled for 2:15, which I was ok with.. I get there and was told to pick colors.. after waiting for maybe 10minutes I was greeted by Lisa.. I showed her the design I wanted.. she told me she couldn't do that, but would like to try ombré on me instead.. I agreed.. she did a good job on her first try and my ped looked great.. the day after(Mother's Day), the polish on my feet began to come off and the nail on my right thumb chipped.. Come Monday my the nail on my left thumb is now chipped and most of the polish on my feet is gone.. it looks like I got my nails done weeks ago.. I sent pics and a text message to the young lady who booked my appt and asked for a refund.. I was only able to get back half.. unfortunately that will be my first and last time as their client. It sucks because I really like Lisa and the atmosphere of the salon.. read more

My manicurist was very nice. So were the other manicurists in the shop. The manicure itself, however, was extremely poor. I had nail polish on my skin, and the polish application was very messy. Such a disappointment. read more
