Everything from the food to the ambiance was phenomenal. The seasonal coffees were to die for! I loved the pumpkin pie iced latte I ordered and my boyfriend enjoyed his peppermint latte. We decided to try the smoothie bowls which were pretty large and packed with fresh seasonal fruits, granola and nuts. The sunrise bowl was refreshing and filling but it was more on the sweet side. The outdoor seating area was very cute. We sat in the shaded area with fans, which makes eating outdoors in heat so much more enjoyable. My dog came along with us for breakfast and the staff loved her! There are also homemade dog treats and other trinkets sold inside the store. I enjoy coming here for the açaí bowls and smoothies, however I really wish the staff could wear gloves when touching and preparing food. I also ordered a muffin a while back and there were strands of hair inside it. Wow! We found this place on TikTok and wanted to give it a try because it has great reviews. We both ordered sunrise bowls and they were AMAZING. Hands down the freshest fruit bowl. If you love açaí bowls, this place is a must. They also have a super cute area to sit outside and lots of Knick knacks to browse and look at while you wait for your food. There is a small trailer outside that serves actual food but it's only open on weekends. We didn't try that but everything they were serving up looked awesome! Very happy vegan writing here. YUM with a little bit of heck yes- this cafe is one to experience. The charm begins right when you drive into the lot. Beautiful trees surround this peaceful property. You are greeted with the coziest outside eating patio, orchids, and Buddha art. Upon entry we were greeted with big smiles, incredible smells of candles, and magnificent trinkets in EVERY corner. We ordered two cappuccinos with oat milk, a vegan chicken salad wrap, and a vegan tofu breakfast burrito, a brownie, and a lemon/ginger shot. My taste buds were jumping up and down with big '10 out of 10' signs as we enjoyed every bit of our order. The portions were appropriate, the flavors were savory, and the coffee was oh so smooth. I am very grateful to have found a place that provides options for me to eat while on vacation as I have lots of dietary restrictions. The place has great decor and a gift shop with lots of eco products. I ordered the protein packer salad. While it checked all the boxes on my dietary restrictions list, it was bland. The house dressing they served it with comes as separated oil and balsamic vinegar, not shaken or emulsified into an actual dressing. I struggled to get it mixed. It met my expectations but did not exceed them. Like many places in south Florida, it is an old school version of vegan food that has not kept up with the times. Modern vegan food has lots of variety in vegetables, tons of flavor and includes gluten free and soy free options in abundance. Macros would be nice to see too. Adorable tropical jungle of a place hidden off the main road! This spot is super eclectic and has a great variety of vegan and healthy food. I got the tempeh wrap and the tempeh was delicious! The side salad was really good too. My friend got the chicken salad wrap and that also had tempeh but in a curry sauce, and I thought that was much better. The presentation is adorable. This is my new favorite corner of The Keys! The vegan breakfast burrito was delicious and the avocado toast was some of the best I've ever had. A wonderfully friendly staff who were very busy making sure each latte and plate of food was made with love. The boutique was bright and clean and gorgeous! We sat outside under some large trees and enjoyed the best meal of the week. I absolutely recommend making a trip to visit! Coco Plum Place was the sweetest surprise on our drive back from Key West to Miami. We were lucky enough to find this cafe on Yelp located conveniently right off the main road. The staff were warm and welcoming, friendly and offered us their favorite menu picks. The location is charming, a little spot with cozy and warm vibes, bright colors and a beach side feel. Plenty of outdoor seating. We loved their menu from their iced latte with oat milk, fresh juice, acai bowl and vegan wraps. Prices are more than fair for the fresh, organic produce they use to create their flavorful treats. They also had delicious looking vegan and paleo baked goods although we didn't try them this visit we are sure to the next time we stop in. I can't say a bad thing about Coco Plum Place only that I wish we lived local and could visit frequently! If you're looking to try out some fresh vegan eats this is the place to go! Even better, their friendly customers stopped to have a chat with us while we ate outside on the porch and we connected serendipitously with someone from our hometown back north. We went to this place 2 days in a row! First was for açaí bowls, which I didn't get pictures of. I got coco plum açaí bowl which was delicious. All the way from the juicy fresh fruit to the texture of the coconut. My husband got the chocolate honey bowl which he said was better than ice cream. Today I was torn between getting another açaí bowl or the avocado toast. I decided on the toast and man it was so good. The avocado was creamy with just the right amount of garlic/ seasonings and the toast had just the right amount of crunch. My husband got the granola bowl this time which was very refreshing and yummy. The coffee was really good and my latte was perfect! This isn't a very fast production but we weren't in a hurry. Serving light and healthy smoothies, cold pressed juices, coffee teas and baked yummy sweets. It's a family affair and mom offers gorgeous bouquets and arrangements, while Lindsay the owner is the brains behind the operation, while dad receives cargo, at least on the day we visited. A small delish basket of muffins greets you to savor and get a feel for what is possible. The highlight is the merchandise available formón all over the world which is just lovely and sure to tempt you while you wait for your Paradise or Fave smoothie. Or is it the adorable cottage and funky furnishings to just hang out and sip smooth. Paper or bamboo straws keeps it sustainable.
