    Darling candy shop.
    Tamara H.

I enjoy supporting a small business. This is a cute, little candy shop on a charming block in Studio City. The candy store is on Tujunga. You might have been to a couple of popular businesses also on the block. Ahem--a cafe with a line, always. And an Italian restaurant that has a long history. Well, this little candy spot is nestled right in the middle of both of those places. You'll find a wide assortment of gummy candies as well as an array of chocolate bars and old-fashioned candies from your childhood or your grandma's days. The shop is well laid out with a nice playlist to stroll through and select some favorites or new items to try. Street parking available on Tujunga and on some of the nearby by residential streets with a 2-hour limit. Shop hours seem to be later in the day into the evening.

My new favorite candy store. We were just walking by and happened to stumble upon this store and had the nicest experience. Joann the owner was so lovely, personable and helpful. Once she got to know us she made suggestions that perfectly pleased our palates. She really is a modern day Willie Wonka. We will definitely become regulars at this spot and support her small business.

Support small businesses in your community. This is one of them. We bring my son here for treats. The owner, Joanne is absolutely the best. She's so patient and just delivers the best customer service and recommendations. They have a lot of candies I remember growing up eating and buying at my local candy store. Brings back a lot of memories. Definetely give them a try. Her prices are very reasonable.

Joanne is the owner and she works her butt off to make this the best candy shop in the entire neighborhood of Studio City. Each day she imports more treats and has everything from English wine gums to cool retro candies.

Selling carefully curated candy and treats from all around the globe. Who doesn't like candy from distant waters? The staff and owner were welcoming and charming spirits. I randomly walked into the shop while on a mission for pizza on Friday. I walked out with unique and intriguing candy treats. British, Australia, Korean, Italian are just a few of the familiar and foreign favorites. Of course, the shop carries locally crafted treats. I encourage you to stop by to indulge yourself and support a local business that adds a little sweetness to its customers' days.

The nicest owner, Jojo. She is what makes this place even more special in addition to the variety of fine chocolates and candy from abroad. Our daughter looks forward to going in there and seeing her and she is the kind of owner that remembers your name and what your favorite candy is. Definitely worth it to check out

Thank you for the most unique chocolate ever Joanne! We adore coming to your shop! Best thing ever in my neighborhood is visiting you with my kids!

Absolutely loved this candy shop (insert 50 cent song here) it was so adorable! So many great options, my nieces recognized some social media that all the kids are buying from the internet and my friend noticed some from different countries. Everyone will find atleast one awesome treat to munch on. The staff was so great took their time to get us the perfect sweets. We loved our experience at this candy shop it was so cute and convenient.

This magical candy/chocolate shop carries tons of international products, including lots of vegan ones! It was so exciting to discover all the items that either said 'vegan' on them or were accidentally vegan/dairy-free (by reading ingredient list): chocolate bars, drinking chocolate, gummies, taffy/chews, etc. The owner is the sole employee there and knowledgeable about all the products. Note that it may not open exactly on time (ie she opened like 12:30 pm instead of 12 pm) but that's just how it goes when it's a one-person show ‍. I will for sure be back!

Samples? Yes, please! Thank you to the lady in front of the store handing out their #1 selling item…read more- the FrischSchoggi Hazlenut Milk (milk chocolate and hazelnut)! We wouldn't have even stopped by if the employee didn't ask if we wanted to try a sample. Thank you also for the team here being so helpful suggesting other flavors and offering additional samples. Though the FrischSchoggi Strawberry-Curd White and the one with dates (didn't get the name of this one) were suggested and good, we loved the richness of the chocolate and simplicity of the added hazelnuts of the Hazlenut Milk. We loved it so much, we ordered a 1/4 pound to enjoy while walking the mall and finished it before we finished shopping. This will be another shop we'll be adding to our rotations for a delicious treat! Can't wait to go back to try and find another favorite!

The dark chocolate has a deep, rich flavor that isn't overly sweet, and the almonds add just the right amount of crunch and balance. Every bite was so satisfying I found myself going back for another piece without even thinking about it. I also tried an assortment of their other chocolates and each one was thoughtfully made with nuanced flavors and impeccable quality. Whether it was silky ganache centers or beautifully crafted truffles, you can tell Laderach takes pride in every piece. If you appreciate artisan chocolate that delivers on craftsmanship and flavor, Laderach is absolutely worth a stop. You walk in for one thing and walk out wanting a whole box.

Having a friend who doesn't like birthday cake (barely likes sweets) makes finding the right pastry…read morefor a birthday quite the challenge. But I know one thing: we both love fortune cookies! So on the hunt I went for a fortune cookie, but BIG, GIGANTIC, OVERSIZED...and after a little searching, boom: this place. Chocolate Fortunes in North Hollywood. Let me tell you! These fortune cookies are HUGE, HEAVY and DELICIOUS! The cookie itself is a sturdy, thick, CRUNCHY thing! It has to be solid enough, I guess, to hold all of that chocolate weight! It measures maybe 10 to 12 inches across. They dip the cookie in your chocolate of choice and decorate it with sprinkles, colored sugar or however you'd like. Ours was coated in dark chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle on ONE, and then a white chocolate coat with a dark chocolate drizzle on the other. You tell them the fortune that you want printed and placed inside (keep the length a reasonable one) and done! They gift wrap and box it. Your loved ones are going to love this thing! It's heavy, GIGANTIC, super crunchy and simply delicious. Excellent. The largest side runs you $26 (tax included) My go-to for birthdays from now on
