I recently visited this store to purchase a gift. I was greeted the minute I walked in. There was one employee working at the counter. He was giving out samples and helping people with transactions. He was very nice and helpful. He went above and beyond when I asked him for help regarding picking a gift. This store was very clean and organized. They have a variety of seasonal and usual chocolates. I liked the fact that you can pick and make your own box of chocolates. They sell them by pound which makes it easy for gifting. I really appreciate the help and kindness of the young staff who helped me. For parking, this store is located in the Burbank Mall so parking is easy to find. read more

Nice clean store, friendly, helpful and professional workers, who smiles as they help you find what your tooth and taste buds desires. They hand you a random chocolate candy to try out as you walk in, or you can ask to try a particular flavor. Milk or dark, who doesn't love the taste of milky, creamy chocolate? The lovely black and white interior of the store and that smell make me feel like a child again. Such a nostalgic feeling getting a free sample and opening a fresh box of their signature chocolates. They have homemaker fudge, lollipops, chocolate bars and other sweet goodies as well. The staff is always very helpful as well, they're always ready to answer any chocolate questions and make suggestions. My favorite is the Butterscotch square. My wife and I stopped by this See's Candies because she wanted to see what gift set they had to give to people. When we walked in, an employee greeted us right away and told my wife that if there a chocolate she doesn't like in their gift set then they can make a custom one for the same price. The store isn't that big but it works for them. They had some nice collection of chocolate on their display. All the employee had mask on and gloves to help make you feel better. My wife like some of the stuff they had but we didn't buy anything, she might come back later. read more

I love coming to this location because Kyra is super helpful, her customer service is a A+. I almost ruined my box of chocolates by adding a spear mint chocolate but she advised me if I wasn't going to eat it right away, that the mint would spread to the other ones. So I decided not to get it and instead of leaving me with the craving of wanting a spear mint chocolate she gave me one as a sample. Who doesn't Love See's Candies? I shop at See's once a year, usually around the holiday season.It's a great gift idea for lazy shoppers, like myself. I stock up on the 1 pound pre- wrapped assorted chocolate boxes. Makes a great gift for acquaintances, co- workers and hired help. The store is spotless! I walked in and everything was stocked and well organized. It was easy to find everything I needed. The employees were very inviting and offered assistance multiple times. I had not been to this mall since they began renovating. See's moved from the old location but it's still the same traditional California establishment you expect See's to be. As with all locations, you are offered a chocolate to taste. But if there's a flavor you're curious about, they will give you a sample as well. I always get 2 lbs for my mom as she LOVES See's. I love that I can pick and choose her favorites. Then I get a box of California crunch for my husband. As I don't really have a sweet tooth, I am content with the samples. The staff are helpful, professional and patient. On my last visit, my mom was with me. She kept changing her mind on some of the chocolates and the lovely sales lady was very sweet and didn't make her feel rushed. I loved that! Will definitely be back when I'm in Burbank. read more

What can I say? It's local to me. I love their walnut squares, butter scotch, scotchmellow...oh and a majority of their chocolates. Sickening to most, but I have recently discovered how well a piece or 2 of Sees chocolate pairs with a hot cup of coffee in the mornings. My favorite kind of morning delight! See's Candies are the perfect thank you gift for clients and vendors in my field of work. They're an institution of California, they're recognizable, and they're high quality. That's why it's so annoying that I cannot purchase products there with a company credit card, and that's why I have to take my business elsewhere. In my line of work, I need to be able to call in an order, send over a copy of the company card, and have a runner pick up the order within 2 hours. It's fast paced, and I don't have time to do online ordering. My executive producer does not have time to come down to the location to pick up 20 boxes of chocolate just because his name is on the company credit card. That's why I have runners at my office. That's why everyone has credit card authorizations. Kiehl's has them. Leonidas Chocolates has them. Edible Arrangements has them. Sprinkles Cupcakes have them. Every cute boutique and vendor I use to send thank you gifts in Los Angeles has them, except See's. They do not even understand the concept. It's bad business and I hate that, because I love their chocolates and their truffle boxes are perfect. But, no more. BLARGH. Blargh on you, See's. Now I have to send someone all the way to Century City for Leonidas and their boxes are ehhhhh. read more

I needed chocolates for the Missus real bad. More specifically, I needed white chocolate as the Missus hates real chocolate. Enter See's Candies. The line was rather short for Valentine's Night; good for me. I had called earlier in the day to see if they had all the flavors. I was informed they were only out of milk patties, strawberry truffles, and something else for which I didn't really care. I could now drive there from work and just pick up a box. A young lady, whose name escapes me, helped me out with my white chocolate desires. She suggested a special heart-shaped box and I said, "Sure, what the hell." I couldn't believe the amount of candies she crammed into that box: Polar bear paws, divinity puffs, apricot delights, Scotch kisses, cashew brittle, apple pie truffle, bon bons, walnut rolls, and the list goes on. I had to double-up on many things just to fill the box and it still didn't get up to a pound! I really wanted coconut bonbons. I saw this horribly empty spot next to the apricot bonbons. Could my biggest fear possibly come true? Indeed, they were out of coconut bonbons. It wasn't on the list with the other 86'd items so I figure this was a mistake on their part. The nice See's associates called Glendale and Sherman Oaks to see if they had any. Sherman Oaks did, but I didn't see the point in driving 30 minutes for bonbons. The lack of coconut bonbons aside, I'd say the experience I had at See's was very pleasant. Thanks! read more

I love Sees candies and always buy my favorites! I usually end up buying like 8-10 pieces of chocolate. Every sees candy I've gone to has really nice friendly employees. The guy Jeremy that helped me was not as friendly as the others, I felt like I was being rushed. I asked him for two pieces that needed to be cut because I didn't want a big piece and I had to correct him and have him show me what size he cut because he just threw it in the bag. Then he had the nerve to give me one with the chocolate chipped off ..... I didn't even get to finish my order because I felt like he was in a rush so I only left with 5 pieces :( . The staff clearly wasn't paying attention at all when I was ordering. Just went to open my bag of candy and discovered that over half of my order was completely wrong. There were candies in there that I didn't ask for, which I only learned after biting into them. I was incredibly disturbed to find that most of these unwanted candies contained nuts. I would hope that the staff would be more aware seeing as peanuts are such a common allergy. I feel like I totally wasted my money coming to this location. read more

Didn't offer me any samples while the other helper gladly offered samples to the people she was waiting on, didn't understand my order, walked around like she was high, told me my total was $50 after watching her put $25 worth of chocolate on the scale. The candy isn't bad. I had to order over the internet because there are no stores near me. I spent $25 a pound and I didn't receive the correct order. I sent them an email and never heard back from them. At that price, orders need to be correct, and if they aren't, they need to compensate you some how.
