"This isn't a Starbucks?" "This isn't a Starbucks" Thats what the cashier told me when i asked before i ordered.. That's funny, I now have a Starbucks cup in my hand.. and you're right !! you're definitely not a Starbucks.. I know you're better .The Brown Sugar Oatmilk shaken espresso I got here was better prepared for sure and it tasted better. I actually tasted coffee in this drink..I'm gonna hold Starbucks accountable the next time it's not on par with this wonderful creation.. Thank you to Cocoa Bean you made my afternoon. I didn't take a picture of my draaank.. I didn't have a chance, I was enjoying it way too much..

I was relieved to find this coffee place in the hotel! They do serve Starbucks! I was sad they only had one hot item on the menu, the English muffin sandwich. I was really disappointed when I bit into it and it was still cold inside. Coffee was good, food.. not so much.

The Cocoa Bean is located inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel - it's right around the corner from the main lobby check in area. I hit The Coffee Bean twice during my stay at the Gaylord Opryland - both times I ordered iced lattes - first time was a triple shot iced latte with whole milk; the second time a double shot iced latte with whole milk. Both drinks were strong and tasty and did the trick! Fed my brain the caffeine it oh so desperately craved and needed! There are a number of tables off to the side where you can sit and enjoy your beverage or work on your notebook computer or mobile device. Service was good!

Simply gross and overpriced. Signs posted reflect Starbucks- yet they aren't Starbucks? Guess selling the product only.

Overpriced hotel coffee and bakery goods. A welcome escape from the cheap coffee available in your room.

A good bean shop on the way to the convention floor! Better than the self serve Starbucks machines scattered around.

I spoke to Netosha, and she tried sending me to some other cafe. I said I wanted to dine here instead and cited that I did come well before closing. She didn't provide any form of excuse or apology, just repeated that they are already closed. When I said, "but it's not even 2 pm, and according to the website, you close at 2", she replied with a snark, "is there any particular reason why you want to dine HERE?" I said, there was something on the menu that I had seen earlier and really wanted to try it. She shrugged her shoulders and repeated that they are closed. Again, there were a bunch of workers standing around. The pastries were still behind the glass. They could've easily served me if they cared enough. They could've also asked what I wanted. What if whatever I had in mind was readily available? All I wanted was coffee and a pastry. If her snarky question was only to find out what I wanted to eat so that she could point me in the right direction, it would've been one thing. But when I answered her question, saying about an item on the menu, she didn't ask what it was and simply repeated that they are closed. I found this short encounter with Netosha incredibly rude. This is not how you treat a customer who happens to be a local.

I ordered the turkey BLT with fries, and a few of my sorors ordered the same. The sandwich was good, and the fries were fresh. It was the perfect lunch after a long day of traveling. One of my sorors ordered the Banana Foster Old Fashioned and absolutely loved it! I kept it simple with water because I was so thirsty from our trip, so I can't speak much on the other drinks. However, the food was satisfying and exactly what we needed after arriving. Our server, I believe his name was Morty, was kind, courteous, and very attentive throughout our meal. The ambiance was truly one of the best parts of the experience. Dining in the beautiful atrium surrounded by lush greenery and the indoor waterfall made it feel like we were eating in the middle of a rainforest. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch with good food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it if you're staying at the Gaylord.

Anyways the staff is really helpful. As soon as you're seated you're greeted and given the 411 on the place being a scratch kitchen, everything made in house and this is important because it contributes to the amazing quality control. But I digress. They also have merchandise and a pastry kitchen for you to grab and go coffee if you don't have time to enjoy the delicious food at a table. Now you cannot really go wrong here. We started off with the ricotta and honey on sourdough...amazing. And that honey? I wanted to take one home so bad but I did not want to check in my bag for it so I'll have to come by again. I could eat this pairing for days. So good. We stuck to the basics, biscuits with our cravings (chicken on mine, and bacon + egg + cheese on my friends) and a curry. Left leaving stuffed. Those biscuits...you must. 10/10 recommend and will be back!
