Soft serve is great and real food is fine. Load it up with lots of topping for no extra cost. Longs lines during conventions.

I always appreciate when small businesses open and make a mark in a community, this one surely fits…read morethe bill. Located in the old K&G Hardware store of childhood (with the same creaky wood floors), it's conveniently located on Railroad with parking out back. The Book Bar is part book store, part cafe, and part community meeting space. They've utilized the large store area with cozy sofa lounge spaces, a full cafe bar at the back left with coffee, tea, pastries, etc. To the right are shelves of books, both new and used. Prices are reasonable for a small business. They even have a house blend of coffee, available to drink in the cafe or beans to go, which is made by a local roaster in Cleona. The owners are super friendly and thoughtful about what they want this place to be. I talked to them about their events, including already popular book clubs that meet in the lounge area. It sounds like a great place to meet other people while talking about your favorite books. For people with kids, the children's section is super cute, and also has some cozy seating areas to peruse the books. Book stores are a precious commodity in this time, and it's great for a community like Palmyra to have one like this. Definitely check it out!

Lovely, cute place to visit. Love the book selections and…read morethe drinks were amazing! Friendly owner. My latte was made with the wrong flavoring and it was immediately remade. I have been to other places where they hesitantly ask "are you sure?" about taking the wrong drink, but in this case it was immediately addressed and I was provided a fresh correctly made latte. Love the atmosphere and saw some authors with their books talking to various customers. Free street 2 hour parking. The lavender latte and Redrum are delicious

What is it with large corporations and the lack of signage? Since we're not staying on site and…read morewanted to visit this coffee shop, it was VERY hard to find. After driving all over the complex (thank you GPS) & having to turn around twice due to dead-ends, we ended up parking behind the hotel in the hotel parking, where it looked like everyone needed parking permits... but an employee said we'd be fine to park there and gave us directions to the coffee shop inside. It was a bit difficult to find from that side, even with his directions, as once again NO signs. They had plenty of signs for locating your building and room... so why wouldn't they add signs for finding food and getting more $$ out of their patrons?? Once we finally found it with the hope of not being towed, we also saw where the main parking was - a HUGE lot out front. The service inside was great. They even had gluten-free blueberry muffins that were so good I almost wolfed it down before getting a photo. Fluffy and moist... not a brick or dry like most GF baked goods. They had other GF baked goods listed as well, but none were in stock. Hubs got a breakfast sandwich that he said was really good. We both got mochas - his was supposed to be iced and they made it hot (happens a lot, actually), but it was "fine"... Mine was basically a melted Reese's cup and OMG. Hands down one of THE BEST coffees I've EVER had. We will definitely be back... this time in the correct parking lot! ‍

Decent coffee shop in the main lobby at the Hotel Hershey…read more They have the goods, by means of the caffeine jolt you need after your company has an all out three day bash at the hotels convention center. I stumbled my way in here after 4 hours sleep twice and managed not to look like shit. All hail the baristas!!! Food sold here is almost positively freezer to shelf/microwave, so don't do that. Find some bacon or another nice protein to eat, or just skip it all together. BREAKFAST IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY! WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO! Employees are fine. Happy to help you along your way. No issues there! If you are here and tired. Get some coffee. You look a bit down.... '26 - 2

OMG. So, let's put…read moreit this way, seeing that the "bagels" were really pre-sliced and in long plastic bags in the back, I opted for a croissant. They looked... croissanty enough. I asked if they could put ham and cheese in there. No. No, we cannot possibly. But if you'd like, there's a croissant with egg, cheese and sausage. I of course said yes and lived to rue the day. I'm kind of glad I didn't take a picture of the light yellow spongy disc that was the egg. Though I'd like to share the horror, I'm happier that someday perhaps I can forget it. Somehow, the croissant I saw had been swapped for a PERFECTLY CIRCULAR "croissant". Considering the word croissant comes from crescent... nevermind. The "sausage" (which only vaguely tasted like any sort of pork I'm familiar with) was predictably circular as well and the non-descript white cheese as well, also circular. It was $9 for an affront to the palate, the eyes, hell, all the senses were affronted. There is not one thing I could point to as even remotely worth the asking price, nor even, appetizing. It's a great place if you have no sense of taste, have been starved, and perhaps have some kind of non-refundable gift card for. I expect this kind of food in Silent Hill, or in Raccoon city, or indeed any other city in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. That would indeed be the only excuse I would accept for a round croissant for $9. Avoid at all costs.
