I cannot say enough good things about Midstate being in Hershey. We were sad to hear that the Cameron Street location closed, but super happy to hear that they were in the Fresh Market. It's super convenient and easy to get to! The mixologists are always friendly and their drinks are just a step above the rest! Their prices are on par with drinks in Hershey. When at the market, I almost always get a drink - and something different every time. Their drink menu is FUN and you can order food from one of the many other market vendors and eat at the bar. Get there early or you won't have a seat though! I will continue my way through their drink menu and update as I go. My sights are on the peppermint cold brew for next time! I do enjoy their original cold brew drink, so I'm hopeful the peppermint simple syrup makes it that much better!

We were fans of Midstate when they were on Cameron St and were disappointed when they relocated.  Fortunately the location at the Fresh Market is great and serves some of the best cocktails in the city!  Service is always friendly and professional in a very relaxed environment.  The menu boards offer a large selection of specialty and seasonal cocktail ideas to choose from. Midstate is one of the few places around that DOESN'T serve "watered down drinks at an inflated price". All the cocktails are flavorful and in an affordable price range. (amazing smoked old fashions and orange crushes).  The location at the Fresh Market enables customers to order food from the numerous vendors in the market and consume at the Midstate bar/table area. Overall a great place to stop in for a drink while out shopping or bellying up to the bar for a relaxing afternoon.

Great service the bartender was attentive. Remembered the people I went with by name and their off the menu drink they liked and haven't been in a couple of months. Their liquors are great, they have vodka, gin, rum, and bourbon. The tropical crush was wonderful and strong. The blackberry bourbon lemonade was strong and good as well. Tucked inside fresh market and has a nice vibe with both bar seating and tables close by. They welcome you grabbing food and sitting with them

Amazing drinks! This is my favorite distillery. They make their own rum, vodka, Bourbon and more. The coffee liquor is made with a local coffee house coffee beans and is so much better than the stuff you buy in the store. Highly recommend a visit here!

Saw this hot spot while we were walking around Fresh Market. We had a seat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks. I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Martini and my husband had an Old Fashioned. Omg - the Martini was so sweet and chocolaty and the Old Fashioned was excellent! Needless to say we left with a couple bottles: The Four Grain Bourbon & Vodka infused with pickle juice. The bartenders were friendly and let us try little samplings until we decided. Cute spot and good drinks!

We went here for yelp event and it was fun! They have some awesome rum called Shaky Jake's. They showed us how it was made.

We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us. We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!

They boast whiskeys from around the world and my friend ordered a unique cocktail - Bananas Foster Old Fashioned. The bar food was really good- the wings were my fave- fried but not breaded. The pretzel was so filling - meats and cheeses - like a charcuterie board. It was a great first and last stop to our concert night! I thought this was an ideal spot, so off we went. Iberian Lounge is located on the second floor of the hotel, off the fountain lobby across from Trevi 5. The space is kinda large for a lounge - they have a mixture of tables with soft furniture, a couple of couches, and stools at the bar. The decor has a somewhat Spanish theme (hence the name), and it matches the former hotel lobby it sits off of. In addition to the obligatory drinks, the lounge also serves food. We were gonna eat later, though, so we opted to just have the former. I was in Hershey so I wanted to try one of their signature drinks so I went with their Hershey's Kiss Signature Martini. This kinda blew my mind if I'm being honest - the drink was clear like a martini but it tasted so much like a Hershey's Kiss - my mind couldn't comprehend this as i consumed the delicious sips. Service was great, everyone was friendly and our drinks came out promptly. Overall, I had a great experience at Iberian Lounge - the drinks were fun, and the atmosphere was comfortable. This is an ideal place to chill while at Hotel Hershey.

The atmosphere was fun, utilizing retired ride vehicles as booths and playing into the park setting. As expected in Hershey, the menu explored how chocolate can be integrated into a very American menu. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese: the chocolate barbecue sauce reminded me of a lighter molasses-based sauce so it worked with the barbecue. We had the Ferris Wheel appetizer which was mostly a win, but the items could have shown up on a TGI Friday's menu. The next day, to escape the millions of middle schoolers in the park (I have a whole travelogue brewing for that) we came back because I wanted one of their gigantic milkshakes. The Reese's peanut butter shake was peanut butter to the Nth degree, and it was topped by an entire slice of peanut butter pie. My friend got a stomachache but I love anything peanut butter so this was a win for me. Both times the service was really good. Our servers were friendly and attentive so we never felt we were being ignored or passed over. A+ in the service department.

One thing I definitely like better now is that they take reservations, and I would highly recommend making one. Otherwise, you could be looking at a pretty long wait. Our service was excellent. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us and managed to make sure our drinks were never empty, which is basically the restaurant equivalent of having a personal pit crew. One thing we discovered on the appetizer menu is the half-moon mozzarella. They're listed as part of the larger "Ferris Wheel" appetizer, but we asked if we could order them separately and were told yes. You get four for $15, and they were actually quite good. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was more average. I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes. The meat was tender, but it was also somewhat fatty and didn't have much flavor. My wife and son both ordered burgers, which were OK but nothing particularly memorable. They do offer gluten-free buns, which was a nice bonus and definitely appreciated. Since we were attending a concert, the location was extremely convenient and made grabbing dinner beforehand an easy choice. However, convenience comes at a price here. You're paying a pretty penny for food that, at least during our visit, was just average. Overall, the service was excellent, the mozzarella was good, and the convenience can't be beat if you're attending an event. But at these prices, I was hoping the food would be more of a standout.

Even on a weeknight, the restaurant was adequately packed, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine here. A few things to know before you go: Popular restaurant that can be quite busy, even during the work week. Reservations are a good idea, especially during dinner hours. There is a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant, as well as street parking. Both were full when I arrived. There is a free parking garage across the street behind the storefronts, which ended up being the easiest parking option. For drinks, I ordered the Peach Sangria, and it was excellent. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet, it paired nicely with dinner and was one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the: Chicken Marsala Sautéed chicken breast with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce served over house-made linguini or mashed potatoes & asparagus. Unfortunately, this dish didn't quite meet my expectations. The Marsala sauce itself was decent, but by the time the meal arrived, the linguini was somewhat cold. As a result, the noodles had begun to harden and stick together, which affected the overall experience. Considering the price point, I didn't feel the dish offered good value, and it's not something I would order again. That said, the restaurant's popularity, lively atmosphere, and excellent sangria make me interested in returning. I'd be curious to try some of the other menu offerings on a future visit, as there were several dishes that looked appealing. Overall, while my entrée was disappointing, the atmosphere and drink selection were enough that I'd be willing to give Chocolate Avenue Grill another chance.

Revisit for a ...Uhum. B day visit, let's just say not 70, yet OK?…read more4:30 reservations OK not quite 70 but early bird ? Yes. And a $25.00 promotion on going at least takes the pain out of such an upscale meal. Seated immediately, at the Happy Birthday booth. We are not booth fans, but this one was actually comfortable. ( table 51 is recommended in this case) Drinks and water's were quick and impressive, the hickory old fashioned was really good, and strong enough but not overpowering. Spouse liked her Chardonnay ( Proverb ) We went fancy with a goat cheese bruschetta appetizer, very nice, and fresh. Spouse had the Mixed Grill that was shell fish and crab and all the lovely stuff she couldn't share with the Birthday boy. No problem I had the seared ahi tuna dinner with lemon asparagus risotto and baby heritage carrots, not the regular Hawaiian tuna. that is good but I didn't want the mashed potatoes and asparagus this time. Loved the carrots nice and glassed with a happy amount of charing and the risotto was fresh a nice lemon background and asparagus was " 5o the tooth" the only small negative was the tuna had no crust, even though I asked for rare, it was missing . Either not a hot enough pan or planchette not those extra few moments, I don't know. But still excellent. We were cared for by Stephen ( I think ) and team 1, I was offered a desert menu but I had a chocolate cake awaiting me at home, I still received a small sponge cake with whip cream and a delicious strawberry on top, with a candle. Damages were $ 135+ tax ( minus the bday discount) plus tip for the full amount. Well worth the expense , and we will do it again next year, I hope.

There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!
