It's offered with your choice of rice or noodles and your choice of protein. I got the egg noodles with Khao Soi curry with the fried chicken thigh for only $14!!! Such a steal for the taste, quality, and portions. Khao soi was rich with really good depth of flavor. The egg noodles were the perfect complement as it was cooked nicely al dente. The chicken thigh was also delicious but too much breading; next time I will opt for the grilled meat option. I liked the pickled mustard and red onions to help brighten the dish. Prices are reasonable, and they also offer non-curry dishes like pad Thai and tom yum soup. Lita could not have been more helpful. We chose to eat in the restaurant and got full service. Alternatively, you can order at the counter for takeout. I just discovered this small business and will definitely be back. If you like Thai, this is a very good casual restaurant. This was the first time dining at this small restaurant and it was the previous great Yelp reviews that led me try Coco. This restaurant is tucked in the corner of a small building next to the 7-Eleven, it is easy to miss. Parking is crowded and awkward with only a few available spots for the restaurant and this was around 4:30 pm on a Saturday. When my husband and I walked thru the doors we were met with a welcome smile from the front counter and the aroma of wonderful Thai spices. We told the young man at the front counter that this was our first time dining here and he encouraged us to try all the curries first. All 5 of the curries were different in spice level and taste, but oh so delicious! Our palates were jumping and could hardly wait to try the curry dishes. We chose to eat in and were led to a table in the small dining area. There was a table of 6 already dining when we arrived. We started our meal with 2 appetizers: an order of Crispy Spring Rolls and Cream Cheese Wontons, both served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Both were crispy, light and delicious. Off of the entree menu we chose to "Build Your Own Curry": you pick the meat, the curry, the base and any add-ons you might want. I chose the Crispy Duck, with Yellow Curry, atop Rice Noodles and added on Mixed Vegetables. Hubby chose Grilled Chicken, Panang Curry, atop Jasmine Rice and added on Broccoli. Coco Curry offers 3 spice levels to their curry dishes, Mild, Medium and Hot, we both chose medium and it was a perfect level for the both of us - a little "kick" but not overwhelming. Both dishes had a generous portion, exceptional flavor profile, and all ingredients were fresh - a true delight to our palates. If I could have scored our entree's a "6" I definitely would have! If you don't care for curry they have many traditional thai entree options available. Our friendly server was the owner, and our dining experience was great! As we were leaving a musician was setting up, so I am thinking that they may offer music on the weekends? We will definately be back for more. The customer service is top-tier. We were able to sample the curry lineup and it made picking my order so much easier. The Khao Soi, Panang Curry, and Yellow Curry stole the show. Friend and I shared the following: - Khao Soi with crispy duck, egg noodles, and spicy cucumber. - Panang Curry with crispy pork belly, rice noodles, and papaya salad. Personal noodle opinion: the egg noodles were the MVP: perfectly cooked and great texture. The rice noodles were a little on the firm side for me. The downsides were that the pork belly was on the fattier side; kind of expected, but still. Also, I wouldn't have minded a bit more meat in the entrees. From start to finish our experience was well over a 5 star. We found this place by pure accident and we are beyond glad we did. This was our first time there and the level of service we received was exceptional. They have a unique way of ordering, that we have not seen done at many restaurants. The girl who greeted us gave us samples of all the curry's. The first one (don't remember the name but it starts with a p) and the green ones were our favorite ones. They honestly all tasted amazingly, each one with a different flavor profile. We opted to go with the first curry with a rice base and crispy pork belly. This completely blew our minds, each bite was beyond flavorful. Everything paired perfectly with each other. We ordered the coconut shrimp to try with this curry, which was just as amazing. They have a self serve bar with 3 different "sauces" we added the green spicy one to our shrimp and wontons. I am honestly not someone who likes wontons and I usually don't eat them, but the wontons here were delicious. I'm not sure on the filing, but it was fresh and a bit sweet which paired perfectly with the sauce they bring and the green sauce I mentioned earlier. The drunken noodles did not disappoint, I added crushed chile from the serve self bar to make it spiced ( I ordered them spicy too). I was surprised by the grilled chicken breast, it was cooked to perfection and they give you a good amount of it too. This has been one of the best drunken noodles I've had and I didn't feel sluggish after from all the grease. And my personal favorite the mango sticky rice. A great way to end our meal. The place is a bit on the smaller side, but very cozy and aesthetically pleasing. This is definitely a place you should visit and that we will continue to visit. read more
