When we first walked in, there was a strange odour?? that soon disappeared after we got settled. Now onto the food... Delicious pizza and sandwiches here! We had their popular, recommended pizza, Big Kahuna?, which was tasty and filling; dough was very good. It was on the salty side from all the meats, otherwise very good. We liked the cilantro in it! The special of the day was a saucy sandwich filled with chicken and bbq sauce. The bun was like a brioche, soft and light to compliment the filling. One sandwich can feed two people. Order and pay at counter. Fun, Hawaiian themed decor. Small restaurant but lots of room when we came for a late weekday lunch. Single stall washrooms. Street parking. Okay any of you who follow me know I am not generous with my stars. This has to be one of the best pizza's I've ever had. You have to try it. We drove up from Everett and it was worth it. Well okay we took in the Bellwether Jazz Festival first but you have to try this pizza. It is the bomb. The people are friendly and the pizza is great. You can always find something to do in Bellingham and if you can't what the heck go to Coconut Kenny's for a pizza. this is such a cute little house with lots of hawaiian decors decked out ceiling to floor inside. I went here over the summer and it was really exciting to step inside the tropical tiki hut for some lunch. All the sandwiches and pizza were made with hawaiian bread as the dough that they make themselves so allow some time for it to bake. But you get the fresh out of the oven taste which made it really soft and fluffy and slightly sweet. I got olives and sausage in my sandwich and was full with only half of it! even all the names of the items are hawaiian inspired with reasonable prices. :) read more

Pizza is amazing! I went a half hour before closing time which is 9:00 pm and they were awesome enough to stay open a half hour later as a couple of late night ers rolled in. This is the best pizza I've had in Bellingham. It's sort of like deep dish, the sides have a little crunch to them and the middle is nice and pillowy. The toppings are good. The restaurant was beyond nice when we accidentally ordered from the wrong location. My mom enjoyed the Catalina salad, lots of pecans! Driving from BC to Seattle, we needed a place to catch the US world cup game against Portugal. Timing was going to be tight, due to long border wait, and getting seats at Boundary Bay seemed unlikely. So hooray for yelpers listing this under "sports bars." I called them to make sure they'd have the game on. It was perfect. Several TVs throughout. Sadly, it only seemed a handful of tables cared/watched the game, but we were enthusiastic and appreciated it very much. The volume on the TVs was lower than I'd have liked, but considering only 4 tables out of the place were watching, I guess it made sense not to blast the announcers comments. Cute thatch hawaiian shtick throughout. You order at the counter and they'll bring it to you. Small selection of beers on tap. Sundays the large pizzas are $4 off, and they'll do half/half on toppings. Pizzas and sandwiches both looked great, but we'd stuffed ourselves on Dim Sum before leaving Vancouver, so just couldn't manage that. But it was lovely to share a pitcher and the cheesy bread bites. Basically they just melt a bunch of cheese and garlic over these little rolls. Yum!! Finally made my way here to visit my cousin who goes to WWU, I didn't seem to get a chance before I graduated so after 4 years I got to see what this place was roaring about! And hmm.. I wasn't exactly impressed but I was not disappointed either. My friend ordered Hilo and I got Boogie Board. The full sandwich was def. a big portion! and their bread is yummy! My sandwich (Boogie Board) is considered a Kenny favorite... um.. it was okay! don't get me wrong but it could use more flavor, and would add red onion!
