Definately the spot for vegan-friendly breakfast and bold coffee. We enjoyed the Urban Huevos Ranchero as a tofu scramble and it was perfect! Food was just ok, service ok, staff seemed overwhelmed, menu looked great but didn't deliver

I came here for breakfast with my husband because of the reviews, but we were not very impressed. It's quite small inside and the seating is awkward and cramped. It also took a really long time for our orders, which was surprising because they were not very skillfully prepared; just scrambled eggs with some add-ons thrown in. It was generally quite "meh". Although it is a bit cheaper than some other places here, I feel you get more value paying more somewhere else. Might be better for some other items, but for what we ordered (the greek skillet and the huevos rancheros), we were left wanting something more. read more

Really liked the vegan pastries here... and I'm not even vegan. Food was good, too - we got nice breakfasts here and sandwiches to go for our hikes around the area. We noticed it got really busy each day at around 9AM, so you might want to aim for a bit earlier to avoid the wait. There's not a lot of seating indoors, but you didn't come all the way to Jasper to sit inside a cafe, did you? :) Negatives that took away a star: service was very slow (in particular, it took forever to ring up each order), and no decaf coffee was a disappointment, especially because the baristas clearly were trained and they were using excellent coffee (Phil & Sebastien). We ended up going back 3 days in a row, though, so that's a pretty good endorsement, I think! read more

Service was slow even though the place was basically empty. Was told that we can sit outside and they will bring the coffee and food. Coffee came after 10 mins. 15 mins later a guy asked if we ordered food. We said yes, at which time he said that it was on the counter inside. They apparently bring out only coffees and not the food. By this time the eggs were cold. Although we ordered two identical dishes they forgot to put some ingredients on one of them. When we pointed that out they basically took another 5 mins to give them to us on a small dish. Did I mention that the place was virtually empty. I think there were 3 people inside. read more

We love coco's. We always go a few times when we visit Jasper. This last trip my husband went almost every day to pick up take-out breakfast. When our wedding had to be rearranged on short notice due to COVID (our third time postponing, this time we were going ahead no matter what), I contacted Coco's to ask if they could cater a picnic reception on relatively short notice. Lynn not only responded with a "Yes!", but with multiple options! She and her staff provided fantastic food to our event - sandwiches (some not on their typical menu), salad, cookies, even a staffed hot chocolate bar with whipped cream and sprinkles! We weren't going to have any kind of cake, but her cupcakes were too good to pass up, so we added those and she incorporated some decorations that I already had into the design. Don't hesitate to contract Coco's for any event, but we still went there for breakfast almost every day over the two weeks - it's a great, welcoming spot with good food. read more

Came for brunch during the week and really enjoyed our food (we may have been swayed by the fact that we hadn't had a real breakfast in a week). My friend got the Groomers breakfast and loved it. It was a perfect size (breakfast plates can get really large but I guess in Canada things are more appropriately sized) and she could not stop talking about how perfectly her eggs were cooked. A few days later she brought it up again and said she would pay extra to have them cook her eggs. I got the Coco breakfast wrap which I also really enjoyed- the sauce was flavorful but not too overwhelming and it went together nicely. One tip if you get the wrap- make sure you eat it when it's hot/warm. I had to deal with a phone call so the second half of my wrap was no longer warm by the time I got to it and it wasn't nearly as good as the first half. I also got the pumpkin blueberry muffin which was tasty but probably would've been better warm. As for drinks we got a latte and an Americano. These were definitely the weakest points of the meal- they didn't really taste like much and they took about 10-15 minutes to come out (for just the coffee drinks and they weren't that busy). The people working there were super friendly and I honestly liked the space but we also were there on a Thursday morning so I can see how it could easily get too crowded on a Saturday or Sunday. All in all the food was great but I would honestly get my coffee elsewhere. read more

Went here for quick breakfast for 4. Food was not your normal breakfast. Breakfast burrito had odd curry sauce and the breakfast scramble was bad with old boiled or fried potatoes, not quite sure and they added a weird spice to the eggs that just ruined the whole thing. Pretty disappointed with breakfast. Latte was overly milky and couldn't even taste the espresso in it. We were sitting outside and they couldn't even be bothered to bring our food out or let us know it was ready even after we left a 5 dollar tip when ordering and the place wasn't very busy. Ended up getting a slightly warm scramble which wasn't bad but nothing special. Would recommend wicked cup if you want good coffee. read more

We stopped here for breakfast during our recent visit to Jasper, Alberta in October. The breakfast in the morning was very good! It was the ham and eggs with toast. I was pleasantly surprised that they had gluten free bread and it was really good! The coffee is strong, so that will get you going for sure. The place is not too big and fills up quickly. They were listed as vegan. The menu had maybe three vegan items on it. They, like almost everywhere we went in Banff-Jasper, did not have decaf coffee. We ordered regular. I didn't think it tasted good but B liked it. He ordered a scrambled egg (comes with cheese and ham per the menu), "Hash browns" potato, toast. His eggs were just how he liked them, light and fluffy. They had shredded cheese on top- not even melted in. Ham was sliced and on the side. The 'hash browns' were quartet small potatoes fried or roasted with herbs. I got a bagel (which had seeds in it, rye?) I asked for olive oil since I don't use butter but the kind cook asked if I wanted peanut butter and boysenberry jam instead. YES! That made it for me and that jam was great! read more

This is a great unique local place to have a meal. They can do breakfast, lunch and an early dinner. Fresh made items on the menu, they offer several gluten free items on the menu. The Rueben was amazing and served with a small side salad of kale, dried cherries, feta, walnuts and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Also the grown up grilled cheese sandwich on fresh made sourdough bread served with a small side of chicken lime tortilla soup was very delicious. read more

This is a good cafa four a light snac. The hot chaulkolate was lacking in sum choclate flaver. It is a small cafe in the mountains in Canada. Muddie Mut would be very proud and aprooves with lots of liks. The app wants me to put sum musterd on the revew so moodoo will deliver it in five months. 5 stars for quick service. read more

A nice little place for coffee. The breakfast is not good. I got stomach pain after eating breakfast there. But I really like the coffee.

Being vegans we were quite excited to find a place with a few options for us. We ordered the vegan Curried Apple Coconut soup, with the Sweet Potato Burrito and the Vegetarian Chili and a vegan cookie. Unfortunately, we struck out across the board. The curry soup was unbelievably salty and lukewarm in temperature. The chili was so loaded with jalepenos that it would have been inedible for me, and lukewarm as well. Even my husband (who does enjoy hot wings and can handle heat) was only able to get through half a bowl as it was just way too spicy. The burrito was a disappointment as well. It was the consistency of baby food, and again, way too spicy for me. Generally, hot food is marked to give customers the heads up prior to ordering, or it's remarked on by the staff at the time of ordering. The cookie was as dry as a biscotti, it must have been either over cooked or several days old. We had indifferent service ( no one ever checked to see how things were....) and left planning on not returning. read more

Dropped in for a change of scene from the Bear's Paw bakery's and was DELIGHTED by the choices for hungry veggies in the morning - a full range of different styles of eggs, some with ham, some without. I got the huveos rancheros the first day, which was delicious - salsa, bean mash and cumin scented eggs with sour dough toast generously spread with salty butter. It was the perfect, protein packed start to a day biking in the mountains. The next day, nursing a hangover in the tent, my buddy brought me the greek eggs for brekfast and one of their delicious coffees. By the tim we left the place was a habit and went for lunch - toasty packed with avocado and spinach. Again, brilliant. Even better is that everything is freshly made, and you can see the kitchen with the bakes laid out to go in the oven. Wonderful place! Shame the waitress scowled more than smiled. read more

My mouth watered reading the tofu burrito with grilled veggies, salsa and cheese in a spinach wrap. What did I get? Curried tofu with some slightly cooked onions in a spinach wrap. Great food, coffee was pretty good. It was great but a little too fruity for my liking, but that's just my personal preference, not a comment on the quality of coffee. We had the "groomer" and breakfast bagel, which are both very big portions for a cafe. Not complaining about that with all the walking we did in the day - very tasty. We returned again twice in our time is Jasper. Had the waffles which were amazing, pity they ran out the next time we came back. The staff are run off their feet and you are expected to listen out for your coffee / meal which means there are plenty of impatient people standing inside. I didn't know what the fuss was about: we just sat outside and periodically checked every 5mins or so. Great breakfast and coffee venue - thanks guys. read more

Coffee and service was great. Food was nothing special. 2 stars because I ordered the pulled pork grilled cheese and watched the person making the sandwich manhandle my food with barehands without ever washing them. Some of the pork fell out and then he ate it and licked his fingers. Then proceeded to finish making and cutting my sandwich. We won't be back. read more

For this 'mo from San Francisco, I was shocked by all the rainbow stickers along the main street of the beautiful little town in the mountains. But it makes me all the more a fan.
