It was a great event with many a different brew to sample in the beautiful splendor that is the Springs Preserve. The exploration of cold beer good to go and everyone that I came into contact with was in good spirits. Not one "hard guy," just happy peoples enjoying fermented fellowship. My family and I attended the Kizuna Japanese Spring Festival at a local park in Las Vegas…read more It was attended by many people. The park is vast and is spread out with a large pond in the center. It was a free event. To eat at any of the booths, tickets were required. There was a long line to buy tickets for food and long lines to order the food. We watched a singing performance. It was hard to walk anywhere inside an area where most of the activities were. It was sunny and hot-add to that the people and concrete and well...you get the picture. We stayed less than an hour. Parking was difficult to find as well.

I had their Al Pastor tacos and their chicken tacos and for the $4 price per taco, there was a good amount of meat on the tacos and the flavor was exactly what I expect from Mexico--good flavor and not too salty. They offered grilled onions, radish, cucumbers, and lemon on the side. Their salsas consisted of three different types of one red, one yellow and one green. I love the yellow salsa the best -- creamy with just the right amount of spice not too overpowering. The red salsa was fuego! The staff was very friendly and polite despite my non-native Spanish. CASH only. Definitely check this place out and let me know if you have a better taco place in town. Tacos el Gordo is decent but this is better IMHO.
