Brunch is always better in a tropical setting. I visited Coco's while on a quick vacation with friends. This place was fairly close to the condo where we were staying so we dropped in. It's in the area of south Puerto Vallarta known as the "Romantic Zone". Our server was bilingual which was helpful because my Babbel Spanish lessons hadn't quite prepared me for conversation. I ordered the Machaca which came with exceptionally tasty salsa. They had a variety of fruit juices so table also enjoyed Mimosas.

We went out for breakfast on December 24 after hearing good things about Coco's, and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. The space itself sets the tone right away--open, airy, and calm, with a lush garden feel toward the back. Palm trees, greenery, and flowers surround you, creating this quiet, tropical oasis that feels removed from the bustle of town, even though you're only about a block from the ocean. I ordered the almond-crusted French toast, and it was outstanding. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, filled with a light lemon cream, topped with whipped cream and fresh blueberries. It hit that sweet spot where it feels indulgent but not heavy--bright, citrusy, and balanced rather than sugary. Paired with a caramel café latte that was smooth, rich, and not overly sweet, it made for an ideal, slow breakfast. What really stands out is how relaxing the experience is. Sitting there, surrounded by plants and filtered light, you genuinely feel transported--like you've stepped into a hidden garden café rather than a busy vacation town. Service was attentive without hovering, friendly, and unpretentious, which only adds to the ease of the place. The menu is broad and thoughtful, with plenty of excellent options whether you want something classic or slightly elevated. If you're looking for a breakfast spot that's calm, beautiful, and grounding--somewhere open and green that lets you linger and actually enjoy the morning--Coco's is an easy recommendation. Excellent food, great coffee, and a garden-like atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned.

Coco's was close to our resort so we went there for breakfast one morning. It was SO good that we went back the next morning too. I had pancakes which were perfect. Eggs over easy were better than i could have done at home. My husband had an omelette with hash browns. I also posted a picture of my plate post-meal. The service was great and the prices were outstanding also.

Traveling in Mexico you pretty much know you will get great Mexican food but let me tell you going somewhere for breakfast and having my all time favorite breakfast meals, Eggs Benedict and it being fantastic is always a win!!!!

A trendy open air restaurant on Calle Púlpito surround by brilliant colors, decor, plant life and the flow of good food mets great energy. We had a short wait for the lunch brunch crowd (about 10 minutes, maybe a little less), 10 to 15 minutos seems to be the average on weekends. We got sat near the center by this beautiful tree intertwined with plants grow near and up around it. The view of all the patron enjoying themselves on each deck/patio section, the flow of the bar (yes, there's drinks) and staff was amazing, especially our server. Breakfast is served from 8am to 3pm daily, and lunch from Noon to 3pm. We ordered coffees, con leche for him, sin leche for me, plus a bottled water to share. I was craving something light but filling and the Ensalada de Mixta aka Mixed Salad sounded perfect and it truly was loaded with fresh veggie including jícama, pepitas, avocado, loads of tomatoes, cucumber, onions, lettuce, bell peppers, and zanahorla/zanahoria/carrots. Plus served with bread con olive oil. The blend of flavors was perfection. We were brought signature Coco's Kitchen condiments to pair with anything we needed including jams, salsa and butter. My boyfriend had the Pecan Waffle, Waffle con nuez, which also included strawberries and cream. Super thumbs up from him, especially with their syrup. At Coco's you can have your fill of Appetizers, Burgers, Salads, Soups, Sandwiches, Burritos, Tacos, Fajitas, Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles, Classic Breakfast favs, Omelets, Egg dishes, Sides/A la cart and any kind of drink you want from Smoothies and Fresh Juices to Cocktails and Cerveza. Entire place is so inviting, not to mention well maintained. The restrooms beyond well kept up as well. It's easy to see why they stay busy all seven days of the week, definitely each day we walked by. When you want somewhere both serene and enjoyable to go... Coco's is where you go... ¡Vamos!

Food is tasty and delicious. Service is great, not a lot of wait time because it is spacious although I arrived at 11 am on a Saturday and just waited 10-15 mins. The seating is great and I came there twice and will definitely come back again. I recommend it.

TikTok brought me here! Located in what a local described as "LGBTQ zone". Honestly this place is overhyped! It definitely caters to tourists as none of it tastes authentic. If you're coming to PV do not waste your time going to restaurants like this instead try the local stands or little family owned fonditas. The food wasn't terrible but it lacked flavor. The salsas on the burrito and enchiladas both tasted like canned salsas and not authentically made. Very nice ambiance and relaxing but the food just wasn't it.

Before our flight we decided to get some food from CoCo's Kitchen and were not disappointed. Only wish we would have tried this place sooner during our stay in Puerto Vallarta. The service was great but there were some women behind the bar yelling in English and who were being obnoxiously loud they were behind the bar and I saw one go inside the kitchen therefore I think they worked there but maybe taking their conversations to the back would have been more appropriate. It was definitely too early in the morning in a vacation destination for someone to be that upset. Other than that the waiter was pleasant and made sure we were in a great ambiance with great service.

What a great way to start the day! I'd say this place has such a wonderful energy that I'd go back anytime I need a fix of happy. We had the cheese enchiladas with verde sauce and the veggie quesadilla. The food orders were gigantic and we had leftovers. I highly recommend!

Excellent breakfast lunch place - near new Hotel Tryst which might account for it being so crowded now - so plan well. Beautiful outdoor dining - excellent service. I got a table right away - though other larger parties were still waiting - though I skipped another day as there were too many folks. I had excellent salmon with capers on toasted Mexican bread with carrots and fries. Lots of fish in menu. A restaurant not to miss in the Zona Romantica!

Coco's Kitchen is a must stop for Breakfast lovers. I visited twice during my PV birthday trip. The restaurant and outside patio is very beautiful and is an open air concept. Lines can form so I recommend being early rather than late. On my first visit I ordered the breakfast burrito and added chorizo. Coffee was good. Tasty breakfast burrito. The show stopper however, was my second visit. I ordered apple pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The Apple pancakes were amazing. If you Yelpstars are familiar with Apple Hill, Placerville, California in the fall and what goes down there then these Apple pancakes are for you. Coco's is 5 star service and food. I'll be back.

I had been avoiding this place because exceso calorias but damn if it wasn't worth every one. The food here is Muy delicioso. I'm probably just making up pseudo Spanish words at this point. Anyhow, the food here is every bit as good as it looks in the photos and then some. Service was fast and friendly. I almost never order French toast but the almond crusted French toast looked amazing and it tasted even better than I expected. We also tried the chile relleno omelette and it was fantastic. Get in here and nom. You won't regret it.

Came for brunch on a Wednesday and waited about 15 mins for a table (considering also it was Valentines Day). Ordered Vallarta omelette, Mexicano Omelette, and Hotcakes - food was light and delicious, and felt healthier than some of the other meals we'd had in PV. Our server was friendly and funny, and gave us a little chocolate at the end, which was a nice touch for Valentines day. read more

I love this restaurant. We had a party of 10 and the service was excellent as was the food. The atmosphere at midmorning was delightful. We were made to feel welcomed and the staff joked with us, which works well for us. I had the corn bread which was grilled and had some sweetness but not cloying. Fresh fruit plate we shared. Everyone seem to like their choices. I want to return. Handled our party easily and graciously. read more

What can I say about Coco's!?! We come literally every single morning for breakfast!!! It is one of my favorite spots, wait my only favorite spot for breakfast in Old Town. They know us when we come in every morning and eventually they knew all of our family and friends who also came daily as they were in town for our wedding. They know that I always get the mango quesidilla for breakfast which is actually a lunch items they make anyways. All of their breakfast items are amazing, my husband loves the huevos rancheros, also the stuff polblano was a favorite as well. The juices are devine as they hand squeeze them to order. This is my favorite brunch spot in PV. I go most mornings while in town. The food is good and consistent. The atmosphere is great. Even the coffee is pretty good. I tend to get omelettes and have not been disappointed. My favorites are the Greek and Italian. read more

the food was good but this was by far the worst service i have ever gotten in mexico. the waiter was horrible and came to the table maybe twice and made all of the other servers bring out food and check. he never checked on us(probably because he knew the food sat in the window so long) he was stealing all of the other servers tables because he had the best section and got overwhelmed. have never left a 0$ tip in my LIFEEEE but i did for this guy (: read more

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Coco's is not to be missed. Mimosas, and green juice to start the day, great wine to end it, all can be found here. Be prepared to relax and have time to visit as you sit in the garden under the trees. Coco's is also a great place for special events as she knows how to "make a party" or beautiful evening. Just let her know when you reserve and you'll be happy you chose this personal touch place for the evening. read more

We had a delicious breakfast/lunch at this hidden gem. So glad we followed the Yelp reviews to this place. I had the Green Chilequiles and my husband had the Lamb Gyro--both were delicious. This restaurant is set outside in a beautiful jungle of trees and plants and the servers are very friendly. We also tried the blended cafe mocha which was perfect on the hot morning. read more

Coco's Kitchen is an okay place for a quick meal like a breakfast or brunch. We ordered huevos con chorizo and although the dish was okay, it wasn't really anything particularly special. It was rather bland; I definitely expected better tasting food. The ambiance is casual and comfortable and the service adequate. The prices are also very reasonable. If I happened to be walking by there again I might drop in for a quick meal, but my expectations would be a bit lower. - Cheers! read more

Found this place last year and came back 3 times during our week stay. I was craving the almond French toast all year. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all great! Churro pancakes, cinnamon French toast, huevos rancheros, Greek omelette... all good! Very friendly and accommodating to children. Nice outdoor seating! read more

This place is amazing. Great servers who truly care about your experience. I had the relano omlete which came with refried beans and a tortilla. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when in Mexico..... It was a chili relano with eggs and cheese just as an omlete should be. It was pretty simple but packed some nice flavor. I also got their green juice which was awesome. I forgot all what was in it, but I do remember spinach, cactus, and I think pineapple juice and a few other flavors.... It's worth getting and don't be put off by it's name! read more

I ate breakfast twice here this week. the food is well-prepared and tasty, I really liked the salmon & cream cheese omelette the best. the service on one day was very good, on the other day it was very slow and inattentive. the staff is friendly but sometimes they are not paying attention. I recommend this place especially if you enjoy breakfast food because they serve it until 2 PM every day. read more

So much good stuff going on here! I'm not sure what type of cuisine they're going for here, but it doesn't matter--it's all great! From local Mexican favorites to American comfort food to Mediterranean fare, this place has it all. We had the unbelievably delicious Churro Pancakes along with some of the best shredded verde chicken chilaquiles I've ever had. The wait staff (like most restaurants in Vallarta) are extremely friendly and attentive. This place may not be the most authentic Mexican food you'll find in PV, but the quality of ingredients and dedication of culinary research are what should keep you coming back. read more

I came here every day for breakfast during my PV vacation. Everything on the menu is excellent and perfectly prepared. The service is remarkable. They were efficient and personable and made pleasant conversation. The juice bar is fresh and as good of juice as I have ever had. I was looking for a place to have breakfast for my son's 8th birthday and found this gem! The setting is beautiful, open air and jungle like. The restaurant was absolutely immaculate, especially considering it's outdoor. The service was exceptional from everyone in the restaurant. The food was indulgent and perfectly executed! My son was thrilled to have had an American breakfast for his birthday. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended! read more

Love the ambiance of the back patio . Large tree , plants and casually rustic . I have only had breakfast here where delicious though somewhat oily , crumbly corn bread is offered as a side . I wish the chef would actually stuff my spinach omelet with spinach instead of a few leaves . Most people come here for lemon curd stuffed French toast , steak & eggs and other breakfast treats . I come for oasis that the patio provides especially in the dog days of summer. read more

We went there for breakfast because of the good reviews - unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Both food and service quality were not up to par with all the other restaurants we had the pleasure of visiting in Puerto Vallarta. The food was okay but nothing special, we had to wait for almost 40 minutes for our breakfast and when it arrived they forgot part of our order. The waiter did apologize when the food finally arrived, maybe we just caught a bad day but I would probably choose one of PV's many other nice restaurants next time. read more

Very, very delicious. The scenery is amazing too. A little garden in the middle of the city made the meal all that better. Add the fresh smell of eucalyptus and you got your self a full experience at Coco's Kitchen. It really was a full experience, with some way good churro pancakes. read more

The staff were very attentive including taking my order, bringing my food, clearing my table, and bringing the check. It first started with them bringing some complimentary toasted bread with jams and butter. Since I ordered fajitas and a beer, it was a little weird to get bread, but I still ate it anyhow. The surf and turf fajitas were fresh off the plate, sizzling with envy! I would definitely come back here again next time I am in the Zona Romantica.

The Mahi-Mahi Fish & Chips was breaded differently than any I've had before, but it was good and the fish was not overdone. They didn't have malt vinegar but the vinegar provided was ok. Corona beer at about 80 pesos was cheap compared to US. Intrigued, I tried the vegetarian Green Omelet for breakfast. Green olives, zucchini, avocado, you get the picture. It tasted better than it looked. For dinner, Tortilla soup was good but a bit too salty for me. I'm not sure what "Artisan Pasta" means, but the Artisan Fungi pasta was excellent; along with the cream sauce, it was probably the best tasting I've ever had! Loaded with mushrooms! The martinis were also pretty cheap at about 79 pesos. So cheap I had 2. The wait staff was very attentive. Food took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, especially since I was one of two guests eating there during my meals; however, the next time I'm in the area, even if not staying at the hotel, I'd definitely stop by for more Artisan Pasta.

Just a couple of blocks from my hotel, I found Coco's Kitchen Puerto Vallarta--and it quickly became one of my favorite breakfast spots. From the moment I walked in, the hostess was warm and welcoming and got me seated right away at a cozy table. Augustin was my waiter--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. The menu has a great mix of savory and sweet options, but the arrachera steak and eggs immediately caught my eye--and I'm glad it did. The plate came with steak, sunny side up eggs, refried beans, guacamole, corn tortillas, salsa, and even ketchup on the side. The steak was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and easy to cut. I ended up building my own little breakfast tacos: warm tortilla, beans, guacamole, steak, and egg, topped with salsa and a touch of ketchup. Every bite was incredible--the flavors came together beautifully, with just the right balance of richness, tang, and a little heat. The space itself has a really nice vibe--lots of greenery and natural light. At one point I looked up and felt like I was dining in a greenhouse. It's calm, inviting, and a perfect way to start the day. I enjoyed it so much, I came back two more times. The chilaquiles were excellent (especially after a night out), and on my last day I ordered the steak and eggs again--this time adding hash browns, which gave my taco creations an extra crispy texture that took it to another level. Pretty darn good. We got a passion fruit mimosa (excellent), hot chocolate with water (definitely don't get this thing, it tastes like mix), the almond french toast, and the enchiladas verdes. Everything was good, and the almond french toast was especially interesting and well balanced. I would have come back buuuuuuuuuut the issue is a lot of other places are just better, and they have tourist prices here. I recently dined at Coco's Kitchen and had a great experience. The vibe was very welcoming and laid-back, perfect for a relaxed meal. The first time we went there, we fell in love with the place. The second time we went there, the service and the food quality totally sucked. The coffee was cold. My omelette was horrible. The service was very slow and I had to wait 25 mins for my drink and bread. I'm very disappointed with that experience and probably would never go there again. read more

We went to this place by recommendation of a friend. We arrived a little after 10:am. It was not too busy. The breakfast was wonderful and the service was excellent. I am sure will return during our stay here to try more things. I definitely recommend this place. read more
