Do not waste your time or money. The food is bad and service is even worse. It starts at the top ( management) they just dont seem to care.

Yuck. Steak fajitas here. Onions and peppers were decent but I'm still chewing the "steak " as I type this. I guess if you think steak flavored bumble gum seems like a good idea, order the fajitas. My dad, who eats Campbell's cream of mushroom soup out of a can at room temp (gross!) ordered the 9 ounce fillet and couldn't finish it. The beer was cold and the peanuts were good and our waitress, Lynda, was pleasant and accommodating. We didn't complain, we just paid tab, thanked waitress and vowed to never be back.. Walked in the door with a reasonable amount of time to order food before closing only to have the bartender make a comment when we asked for a menu saying, , great, just before we're closing. Wow has this place gone to the dumps. Food used to be alright some even decent. Not anymore. The quality of meat is now well below Walmart. Service is beyond bad to the point of scary. Linda seems like a tweaker and just trying to make it to her next fix. Quick, abrupt and walking away before anyone is even done talking. I can't even say the ambiance is any good anymore with the type of people that work there and half the place is falling apart and they're doing nothing to fix it. Won't be back for sure. read more

I wouldn't even leave this place one star but I had to. Second time order the prime rib to go. Both times they never even did the order. You have incumbent people working for you and the manager should be fired. We vacation here at AMI every year and Cody's is one of our go to restaurants. There's a variety of excellent food options and the service is amazing. The first time I ate at this establishment I had some of the best wings I ever had. Sadly, that was not the case on my most recent visit. I wanted to eat here again because of the awesome wings that I had previously had and I was real disappointed when that didn't happen. First off the order was supposed to be for 10 wings, but when I got my order it was short by one wing. I called it to the attention of our waitress, Letti, and she took care of getting me another. And then I discovered that the "garlic" flavored wings that I received had very little garlic on them (if any at all). I couldn't taste garlic nor could I smell garlic. When I asked Letti about it she offered to get me some garlic butter on the side. That was acceptable to me, but then she must have said something to the manager because I ended up not getting charged for my meal. While that was totally unnecessary it was very much appreciated. I had been so disappointed with the wings. When they are done right (like they were on our first visit) they are nice and crisp and a good size. My husband got a half rack of their ribs with fries. His meal also came with salad, and rolls with cinnamon butter. I had some of the salad too and it was very good. The salad was mixed in a big bowl right at the table and there were all kinds of toppings. After serving us the salad Letti told us to just let her know if we wanted more (I think it might have been a bottomless salad) and she would bring us more. The fries kinda sucked, but my husband said the ribs weren't bad. On my first trip to this restaurant I got a stack of their onion rings and although others have spoken about how good they are, I found them to be rather tasteless, so I didn't order them this time. Because of the way my concerns were taken care of I'm going to give this restaurant another shot. The wings were perfect after I added the garlic butter to them and heated them up in my air fryer the next day. The house smelled wonderful. read more

I've eaten at Cody's Roadhouse several times. They have good BBQ ribs and the steaks are normally on par as well. Sometimes the staff is a bit slow, even when it's empty, and the food may not be quite as ordered, but they'll fix it. Overall the place is good for the price. read more

If I could give less than 0 stars I would... We used to be regulars here... But as both the service and food started to...well...SUCK! I have tried to avoid it... But my husband keeps forgiving them. Tonight the service was not only bad... The server was snippy because we weren't happy that our order for wings too 30 mins to come to the table...this was after she admitted she couldn't remember what my husband ordered so she had to come back to ask. And trust me...NOTHING we've eaten the past few times is worth waiting for... Including what was always a big draw for us... The rolls...they are either over baked or so under baked that they are still doughy inside. The management is useless... They apparently rule by fear... One waitress a few months back came to our table in near-tears... That sort of management only makes bad service WORSE. It's the same mgr... So thinking that might be where any change has to begin... We have heard more than a few servers complain about her. She may be a nice person... But perhaps this just isn't her calling. Went for lunch yesterday. Told a 15 minute wait despite most of tables being empty. Waited over 30 minutes and was then told most of servers don't come in until 4pm. Food was mediocre at best. Pork was dry and one in the group had chicken and left most of it. Asked for bake potato and mixed veg as sides but told you only get one side or two if you pay extra. Dessert was two sorts of cake which we only took a couple of bites. Took forever to get the checks. Ambiance not great but large crowd at the bar area. Will definitely not come back again. read more

We had the BOGO fajitas last night for dinner and the food came out pretty quickly for everyone at our table which was nice our server Justin was very nice and got us everything we needed during our visit. Been to this Cody's several times. We have ordered baby back ribs, steaks, prime rib, burgers, and probably half of the appetizers on the menu. It is always well prepared, properly priced, and the service has never disappointed. Tonight Celia was our server and the place was packed! Steak was good, server was very nice but the fish special was flounder and it was NOT flounder it it was spoiled tilapia! Please don't advertise flounder when it is not! This should of been an easy 1 star review, but it just isn't fair to the food and the one waiter that cared about working here. We used to come here about once a month about 3 years ago and after walking in the doors, we understand why we stopped. The place has clearly seen better days. Walking in there is no one there to greet us, after a couple minutes an employee walks up just to tell us someone will seat us soon. Another couple minutes and an extremely rude woman who couldn't stop pulling her weave from her head with a rude voice asks us if we want a booth or table. Nothing was pleasant about her and this is suppose to first person we see walking in? Well not really because she wasn't even there to begin with. Turns out after we were seated she likes to walk to the back to talk to other employees. That's another thing, our table maybe had one good leg and we would probably be better off if I broke it off. We met our waiter who was clearly trying his best, but even he mentioned his coworkers just didn't want to work. It clearly showed as almost everyone was on their cell phones and I even saw one woman leaned up against a wall yawning until what looked like she actually fell asleep. Look, the food was pretty good and it's fairly priced. Will I return? No. I honestly think the best thing for this place is to let it run as it has been and when it falls down, the owner can claim the insurance money. Well let's start with a Tuesday evening. Very busy but obviously not enough staff. One bartender overworked with little support. She is mixing salads and mixing drinks. Really? We had a 45 minute wait with lots of seats open. But no staff to service. After seating our server kailie was super nice and efficient. The salad was great and the rolls were warm and wonderful. I hate doing this because there people that work here were relatively nice, but hands down worst food I have ever paid more than 10 dollars a plate for. Had to send my first plate back it was so awful, then ordered something else that was quite a bit more expensive and honestly, wasn't any better. It's unfortunate because this place is close to home but I will undoubtably be driving the extra 10 mins from now and to go to Texas road house. Steak is burger meat here at Cody's. Waitress was nice, service was slow. Food was subpar. One of dishes looked like dog food and the waiter even said it looked like indescribable and did not make us eat it. Offered to replace, but most of what we had ordered wasn't tasteful so we didn't have high hopes for a "replacement item". Environment was slightly uncomfortable for various reasons such as staff being particularly handsy with bar customers. Would not eat there again. Barely ate anything served to begin with, but didn't seem like there were better options at this establishment, so did not complain. We waited for about 45 minutes to be seated. We had Melissa as our waitress. She was excellent. However, the food was not. Three of the four of us ordered the French onion soup. Very salty. Two were sent back. One person ordered mashed potato with gravy and chop steak. The gravy was white and tasted like flour. I had a NY sirloin. If was a cheap piece of steak. Loaded with gristle. Very chewy and hard to swallow. I only gave two stars because our waitress was excellent. read more
