Great food and service. Went for lunch today. Portions are worth the price, not that the price was bad at all. We ordered a burger: delicious grill flavor with a good portion of bacon. The fries were crunchy and fluffy on the inside. Fresh veggies to top it all off. Also ordered the chicken tender salads. These are portions for THREE people. At least 7 tenders per salad. Fresh veggies. A balanced amount of salad vs toppings. Definitely worth it!!! Didn't get pics, as two of us were newly minted grandmas and were too busy chatting. What happened Longhorn!! I ordered a T-bone steak medium rare and I received a Raw steak and the bread was stale! This was the second time at Longhorn with issues. Longhorn I guess has become nothing more than a Golden Coral , no longer a steakhouse! read more

We were seated right away and our server came very quickly to take our drink orders. He returned with our drinks and fresh bread. The restaurant has nice bar area and lots of booths all spread out so that you don't have a crowded feeling even if they are busy. I got the parmesan crusted chicken(2 chicken breasts) it came with a salad and a baked potato. It was delicious. The parmesan melted on top of the chicken was perfect. The chicken was tender and cooked just right. My wife got the ribs and parmesan chicken. I tasted the ribs and they were outstanding. We had not been to a Longhorns in a long time. It's a chain restaurant, however, the staff is what is ultimately going to make or break a place. With that being said, when we first walked in on our most recent visit, the employees at the host stand just stared at us until we had to ask if we could get a table. Once seated, a waitress/waiter was no where to be found and we were not greeted for about 15 minutes. The restaurant was not busy as it was a Wednesday night, and service was exceptionally slow. The food was great as always, bread was fresh and the steaks seasoned to perfection. If you want a drink refill, you're better off just ordering two at once as it took almost 20 minutes to get a beer and we were already done with our meals and ready to go before it even arrived. We come back for the food, but if you're looking for great service, this location is lacking. read more

This restaurant is fairly new. I have also been to the one on 41 in Bradenton and the one on Fruitville Rd. In Sarasota. The one in Sarasota has a fowl odor as soon as you walk in. The one in Bradenton isn't too bad. I haven't been there in a while. I went to the one on 64 today by Costco because it WAS the cleanest.That one is starting to smell bad too. It smells like a towel that hasn't been washed in days. Apparently the managers have no sense of smell. And the employees don't notice it or are too afraid of the manager to say anything. There's one more Longhorn on Tamiami Trail that's a little far for me hopefully that one won't disappoint. The service today was excellent the food was good. The waitress was very attentive. Unfortunately I won't go back. I am more than happy to try again if I find out the problem has been corrected. read more

We ate at this newly built restaurant yesterday. Off the get go I think they have great potential to be a "very good franchise" restaurant with some tweaking. First we waited 40 minutes to get a table, but popular franchises like this at 6pm I guess we should expect that. The hostess was ok, I think they are still finding their groove. My waiter was a nice guy and seemed to be there when we needed him. The atmosphere and decor was very nice and clean, hopefully it stays that way. The food we ordered was as follows: stuffed mushrooms, Caesar, strawberry salad, 2 steaks, and a cheese burger with loaded baked potato. The stuffed mushrooms were surprisingly very tasty and I will order them again, the Cesar was not your typical Cesar dressing?, the baked potato was as good as any other I've eaten, my cheese burger was tasty as well but I had a very large onion on it which made it awkward to eat and a tad too much salt, but I think it is still a very good burger, now the 2 steaks both guests I was with said the same thing very good temperature on both, but overwhelmingly salty to the point of not being able to finish it or get through it, Maybe some one has a heavy hand in the kitchen. If my burger and the 2 steaks were not overly salty it would definitely be a 4 to 5 star franchise with out question. Ordered to go from this location, we got two 8 oz sirloins and when we got home we thought they looked small so we weighed them and one was 6 oz and the other was 5.5 oz. That's mind boggling from a so called steakhouse. Also the side of broccoli was literally mush and inedible. I am also not one to ever leave a review but I'm sure not everyone has a scale and they probably get away with giving 6oz steaks when people order to go 8oz ones. read more

Me and my boyfriend decided to try something new. We got seated immediately when we walked in for a table of 2, and ordered drinks, took 10 minutes for a shirley temple and a coke. But our waitress took 15 minutes to take our orders when it was not busy. Our waitress was waiting around at the bar while nobody was there. She came up to us after time, and she was giving my boyfriend weird looks when taking our orders. After we ordered, it took 25 minutes to get our food (I got a cheeseburger and my boyfriend got steak) and as soon as I took a bite it was (medium rare) instead of (medium well) and it was not cooked all the way. So, I sent it back to the cooks and took 15 minutes to come back out. We left a $5 tip we could not get her name but she looked in her 20-30s with brown or black hair. It was a perfect dinner! Being a Saturday evening, my wife went online and got us on the waitlist, which I recommend you do while you're driving there. We waited about 15 minutes before we were seated. People that got there without getting on the waitlist were waiting two to three times as long. The place was full for the dinner rush. The place is new and was very clean. Our server, Kaydriana, was awesome! She was very polite and professional. She checked on us often. We got our food a lot quicker than I expected because it was so busy. French onion soup was very tasty! The salad was perfect. The gentleman who I believe was a trainer brought our salads and brought me extra ranch right away when I asked. We both had the filet mignon. Both were cooked perfectly (medium and medium rare). This was the best meal and experience I've had Longhorn. I made sure I told the manager how awesome Kay was. She deserved it and the extra tip! We will be back! read more

Arrived around 5:45 with no reservation, hostess says 20 - 25 minute wait. At 25 minutes, ask hostess for status, she says you still have 5 parties ahead of you. What?! so apparently they take call in's (not a reservation) and place them ahead of the walk ins. 42 minutes until we are seated....not happy. Server was nice. We wait 26 more minutes for 2 steaks and sides, steaks were under cooked, sides were cold. Bring to server's attention, she says I can send my manager over..so we can wait another half hour for more average cold food? no thanks. We won't return. read more

Right after receiving our salads our steak meals showed up, sent them back. They returned with steaks once we finished our salads, however I had ordered unseasoned fries and of course the new plate had seasoned fries. Unseasoned fries did fine their way to me. I started eating my steak and found loaded with grizzle, my wife also said her steak was the same. Sent both back after a wait we got our new steaks. Unfortunately they weren't much better but by this time we lost our appetite. Our server Mia was great and she apologized for our experience since we were celebrating our anniversary, the manager offered a free desert which we took home. Went to Longhorns on 64 in Bradenton. We sat at the bar and Amanda was our bartender/server and Johanna was the manager. I ordered a salad, strip steak and a baked potato. My meal was excellent from the 1st bite. My husband ordered a salad, ribeye and backed potato. The ribeye went back twice. 1st because it was over cooked and quite frankly a bad cut of meat. The 2nd time it just like rubber that had been run over. We sent it back and Johanna made things right. We asked them to just switch it out to a strip steak and without hesitation this was done. The strip steaks do not disappoint!! To our surprise they took my husband's meal off the bill. Nothing we expected and told them it was not necessary. They were gracious and accommodating. One of the worst experiences at a Longhorn ever. Arrived within 10 minutes of opening so there weren't many people there. That didn't last long. They seated a party of 6 close to us with 3 adults and 3 kids (8-12ish in age). One of the kids was practically shouting at his father being super loud. I asked our server if he could ask them to keep it down and he told me, "we don't do that, but I'll get my manager." Manager came out and also gave us the same story - they don't interfere when others are loud. Fantastic. She had to repeat it as I couldn't hear her due to the loud kid. Environment is one thing. Food wasn't food either. Ordered the half pound cheeseburger and it wasn't cooked enough. They took it back to cook it again. Still not cooked enough (practically bleeding). It also isn't close to being half a pound. We were there celebrating a birthday. Ordered a dessert that usually comes with chocolate and caramel. Asked for the caramel to be omitted. Came out with caramel. Just one thing after another. We were given discounts, but it was such a horrible meal I doubt I'll be back to ANY Longhorn in the foreseeable future. read more

Didn't get to eat. The place needs some time to settle in. The hostess held up a finger to indicate she was on the phone. No smile, no acknowledgement that she'd be right with us. Two more people came to the host stand and were staring at the screens but nobody said hello. One appeared to be a manager. But was also seemingly clueless about greetings and first impressions. We'd been there at least 5 minutes before they looked up like deer in the headlights and ask a question in such a way that we both felt like we were intruding. We finally got on the wait list. We were taken to a 4-top after a relatively short wait. We were offered a single tabIe in the center of the aisle between the booths. It looks like they have not received all their tables yet. It was weird. The front section was the same, 2 rows of booths and one 4 top in between where there should be 3 to 4 tables. It would be more comfortable for customers if they moved the single tables to the same area so the table diners don't feel like they're in the middle of the dancefloor. We asked for a different table and it really seemed to cause issues. We were willing to wait. We decided that the bad start didn't bode well. We went next door to Miller's Ale house. We'll try again in a month or two. They don't seem to have an ace start up crew in front of house at least. They definitely need some time to hone skills and personalities. My husband and I have over 30 years of restaurant experience and I spent the last 15 years training customer service people. A bit of advice: A smile and a 'hello- I'll be right with you ' is all that's needed. Don't ignore the people who walk in your door. They may not come back and worse, they might tell people about the experience. read more

The food was very good the cheese stuffed mushrooms great, loved the Brussel sprouts all the food served hot and steaks prepared as requested. The decor was rustic and nice. We've been twice now. Once for dinner and today for lunch. Dinner was last Friday with friends. We all got 6oz filets. They were happy with theirs, husbands was cooked great mine was over. They came and refired my filet and it came back perfectly. Salads were supposed to be mixed greens. When ordering I asked if the green salad was mixed greens or romaine. Server said romaine was used in the Caesar salad. Our mixed green salad was mostly dark green romaine and very little mixed greens. If we go back I'll bring my food scale and measure the filet. It looked more like a 4oz filet. Definitely not 6oz. Service Friday night was great but meal was just okay. Today's lunch we had chicken wing appetizer they were very good. We both had the listed 8oz burgers and it appears the burger was 4-6oz. Not 8oz. Cooked burger did not even fill the bun. Again mixed green salad was predominantly dark green romaine and very little mixed greens. Service was great but again food was just okay. We have 8oz burgers at home, so we know what a cooked 8oz burger looks like. It's very close to us but we'll probably not be back again. read more

Service was great all the time we have been there, we had Majestic as our server,she is very good and double check my wife's meal. I placed a pick up order an hour before I was to pick it up. They put bacon on both Mac n cheese and on 2 potato soups. Requested items to be removed when order was placed. Daughter had to go back in to get Mac n cheese right and soup. Took 30 minutes to correct items. By time it was fixed other food was cold already. Won't be going back to this location. Food was great but I noticed sitting at the bar the amount of flies flying around and even landing on people's glasses and food to be concerning especially with how new the restaurant is. I actually give them 4.5 stars. Our party of two waited about 10 minutes on Monday evening. It's a new restaurant, I get it. Service was great. The salad was very good and contained more than just lettuce, many restaurants are skimping on their salads nowadays. My wife needs to be gluten free, But you have to scan a QR code on the back of the menu to get any allergy info. Why can't they just put GF next to any gluten-free item like most other restaurants or have a separate menu? They also don't have prime rib, I was really looking forward to that. We both got the fillet. Was cooked to perfection, tasted great and was tender as any steak I've had at "better"restaurants like Flemmings and Connors. This was a much more cost-effective meal than those restaurants and better also. We will be back. read more
