Horrible customer service! My daughter got Adidas soccer cleats here ($80) and wore them once and complained of them squeezing her feet and toes so much that they made her toes numb at soccer practice. The person who helped us didn't measure her feet, didn't feel her toe to see where it hit, etc. you can't expect an 11 year old to know how much extra room they should have in their cleats. They will not refund or exchange, even a partial refund would be acceptable. So now I'm out $80 with cleats that have been worn once and will not be worn again. Not going back to this store, wish the soccer store on Fair Oaks and Fulton/Munroe were still open. read more

My daughter joined a new indoor soccer team last minute (2 days before their first game), and the team was using Rec jerseys that we did not have yet. Soccer Pro was able to get a jersey for us in less than 24 hrs from ordering. My son bought a pair of Nike soccer cleats. They are defective because they gave him a very bad blister on one foot. He never even played in them. We tried returning/exchanging them at the store and were told we can't. That makes no sense since Nike offers a return policy on all of their shoes and the verbiage on their policy says to "return your shoes to the original place of purchase". So you don't honor the manufacturers warranty? How disappointing. I will not be returning to this store. read more

I have bought top-end cleats here twice and multiple training apparel and as an experienced and knowledgeable soccer consumer I don't mind that they don't follow me around asking if I need help. A lot of parents and kids might need that extra assitance though. When I start trying on shoes the staff is always eager to help with getting sizes for you. Great store overall, they carry most top-end shoes that big stores like Dick's, Big 5, Nike, or adidas don't. Downside is that their prices don't go lower sooner such as in online soccer stores where there's almost immediately sales on a month-old colorway. If this place wasn't so far away from my house i'd go visit every week! read more

This store is no help in navigating a needlessly changing landscape for boots and has lost my business. My son, a competitive soccer player for many years, loved his Adidas X 15.1s. When they wore out we returned to the place we bought them as well as many other products over the years, Soccer Pro, only to be informed the boots were no longer produced and therefore "not available." They showed us 16.1s, the replacement, a new style of boot in the same price range. My son tried them on, trotted around the store a bit, did some juggling, and actually had some doubts. But he figured they'd be fine as they were intended to be an advancement of the previous shoe. So I coughed up $200-plus and out the door we went. Problem is the 16.1s are not the same shoe. They're cut differently, so the feel for him on the pitch was awkward. After about an hour of training he concluded he didn't like them and switched back to his beat-up 15.1s. When we tried to return the 16s, as long-time customers who have spent thousands of dollars in the store, Soccer Pro refused, saying its policy forbidding the return of worn shoes is clearly posted on the premises (it is) and that 2-3 minutes pretending to run and cut on carpet is supposed to simulate playing conditions. That is patently ridiculous. So we're out $200-plus, which seems to be just fine with Soccer Pro. In the meantime my son still needed new boots. We found 15.1s on Amazon and ordered them. They arrived and are perfect - the same shoe he had before. Now, Soccer Pro could have offered to order 15.1s for us--I gladly would have paid an upcharge for the service--or it might have recommended we try Amazon. Instead it simply shilled for the latest overpriced piece of crap and stole my money. When it comes to customer service this store might as well be a transient operating out of the trunk of a car at a flea market. read more

I placed an order online for some spirit wear. I was extremely disappointed that there wasn't an option to have my order shipped to me. Instead, it said the order would be delivered to my club. When my order was ready, the email stated I would need to pick it up in the store. A store that is more than 100 miles from my house! So I made the trek. While in the store, I expressed my frustration with the process to 4 clerks sitting around. And suggested the website could be updated to be more clear. One of the young men very rudely told me that most people live around the area. With an attitude like this Soccer Pro may go the way of other brick & mortar stores *update:* A few days after I was in the store I received an email from the manager of the store. Bought a pair of Puma King Top M1.1 FG for my son on July 8. Got it on sale @ half price for $120. Took it back today, August 15, because the leather is pulling away from the sole. Guy behind the counter was courteous, and asked if my son use it on turf, which my son answered yes. He told us that the boot was not for turf and called it "user error". He said that they can't do anything about it because Puma is not good about store returns and suggested that we go directly to Puma and see if they can honor vouchers. He talked about possibly extending the warranty for a couple of weeks but I don't understand what good that does since he is already denying warranty. I asked him if we can glue it back and he said yes, and told me they carry shoe glue, but he would use Gorilla glue. He offered to find a "deal" for us if we were interested in buying a pair of turf shoes. I did see a torn disclaimer taped to the counter about the different types of boots and what type of fields they are used for, and that SP is not responsible for damage or injuries; however, at the time of purchase none of the employees pointed this out or talked about what type of field these boots are for. The manager was standing next to him and did not offer anything, not even a tube of glue. I thought it was comical when he offered to find me a deal on another pair of boots for turf. RIGHT?! Like I am going to give them more money?! I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service and will not go back again. I mean what's the point? We bought a pair of womens Addais soccer cleats 2 weeks ago. My daughter has wore them for a few practices and 1 tournament and the toe is starting to have the material pull back and open up. We took them back to the store and they would not take them back. They were not a clearance item but we did get them on sale. The manager said "we only take them back if they are defective" and Addais does not cover the toe. Soccer Pros should run their business differently and honor what they sell. If they didn't want to give our money back they could have least offered a store credit. Definitely will not go there to shop for my 4 kids. Folsom has a soccer store and there are others in Sac they I would recommend for their customer service and knowledge. read more

Now that Soccer Pro is basically a corporate chain store, it's terrible! Merchandise is overpriced and customer service is sorely lacking. I miss Mirro (not sure how to spell his name). This store is 10 minutes from my hourse, but after my recent experience I will not shop here again. Soccer Pro does have the contract to sell uniforms for many area recreational and competitive soccer clubs. That fact alone may get you in the door, but look elsewhere for your other soccer needs!!! Details -- The other day, my daughter needed new "boots" so we went to Soccer Pro. She had bought her last pair at Extreme Soccer for $69 (regular, not sale price) and we noticed the same cleats were $94 at Soccer Pro. The two people working there did nothing but sit behind the counter and socialize with each other. After standing in the shoe area for quite a while, we had to walk over to them and ask to try on cleats. We asked for two sizes. The young, stout, brunette male worker brought out only one pair, then went back to the counter to socialize with the young woman working there. We had to go up and ask again if he had the other size and he said "No." I then had to ask if he had the size in another color she could try on, and his response was, "not at that price point." I never told him I was limiting our purchase to a particular $ amount. So we asked him to bring out the more expensive pair in the other size. This guy needs training in customer service and salesmanship! He never once offered to size my daughter's foot ( I had to use the metal sizers and do that myself). Nor did he even attempt to explain why the more expensive shoe was better because of the material, the sole, etc. It was a waste of time to shop there. Needless to say, he didn't get the sale, and Soccer Pro has lost my business. Even my daughter commented on how bad he was at his job since she could compare it to her experience at Extreme Soccer where the salesperson there had sized her foot, asked her specific questions related to what kind of shoes she needed, and brought out several options for her to try. read more

I love this store! The most knowledgeable and nicest people work here. I live in Elk Grove so obviously soccer city would be more convenient for me but they never have anything in stock. If soccer pro doesn't have the item in stock they ALWAYS offer to check the other stores or order directly from the vendors for me.. Had one defective pant out of 11 I purchased and they exchanged it with no hassle. I will keep going here as long as the customer service is exceptional.. The drive is worth it! read more
