The woman behind the counter was very friendly and polite as we This is a cute establishment with seating inside and out. It is very cute inside with a WIDE range of food items to choose from! Today I ordered a mocha iced latte with oat milk and it was delicious. For food I ordered a healthy meal with steak sautéed veggies and roasted potatoes. And it was amazing ! I would definitely order it again! The steak is not like a prime steak BUT everything had flavor! For desert I HAD to get the pecan brownie and the caramel brownie cause I'm a brownie connoisseur I like my brownies warmed up and these are good but I'll update my review once I have them warmed up with a warm coffee. Just the customer service alone would bring me back! But definitely if you are in the area please stop by and give it a try!

I always wanted to keep giving them a chance because it's not like we have a lot of similar options locally, but this was the last straw for me. The quality doesn't even come close to justifying the price. I could get teenagers to whip me up any crazy drink within minutes at Starbucks, but the simplest order here requires that I've got nothing else going on in my day. And don't get me started on ordering food here. Let's just say last time it was a similar story but no coffee, just a lemon square... that was already made. Also, one of their young male employees seemed to be on break and used the female restroom when the male restroom was free. Just a little strange there. Cute ambience and I like the paintings from local artists they have up, but it isn't a place I'd recommend to anyone. The workers are mostly smiles and friendly demeanors, I just wish they'd be more efficient and thoughtful.

I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.

The service is super nice and accommodating, all the drinks are hand made and it's a very personal home cafe style spot. The cocoa puffs were also excellent, both of the matcha lattes were super high quality and delicious. The cocoa puffs were the perfect addition to the matcha latte and looked great in photos too. The baklava has a unique pistachio flavor, also not too sweet and perfectly balanced. All of the drinks were super well made, with high quality ingredients. The creative concepts live up to their executions for sure! I highly recommend Starlet for excellent, creative lattes and cozy, intimate service and cafe. The interior leans minimalist -- lots of white, light wood tabletops, and green plant accents that match the "Monstera" name. It's a calm and comfortable space to sit for a while. They also have board games like chess, Uno, and Jenga, which makes it feel more like a casual hangout spot than just a quick grab-and-go tea shop. What I ordered: Peach Hibiscus tea with rainbow jelly 5 macarons (pistachio x2, vanilla, strawberry, and another flavor everything except caramel) Fried chicken tenders & fries combo They offer 10% off if you follow them on Instagram or Facebook, which brought my total to about $25. The Peach Hibiscus tea ended up being the highlight. It was refreshing and not overly sweet, and the rainbow jelly added a fun texture. I was a little disappointed they were out of boba, since that's usually my go-to topping. The macarons looked nice visually but the flavors didn't quite come through. The pistachio in particular tasted mostly sweet rather than having a distinct pistachio flavor. The shells were also a bit chewy with slightly uneven edges. The fried chicken tenders and fries ended up being the biggest issue. Two guests ahead of me had already been waiting around 30 minutes before I even placed my order. After ordering, it became clear the kitchen hadn't actually started the food yet. I could hear one staff member explaining to another how to make the tenders and mentioning that the process takes about 7 minutes total. Hearing that while watching orders sit unprepared made the delay a bit confusing. The couple ahead of me had ordered about 10 minutes before I did and still hadn't received their food either. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves and chatting, which is great for morale, but the service side didn't feel very focused on getting orders out in a timely way. Eventually I decided to ask for a refund rather than continue waiting. I also noticed they sell $18 individual cakes that come in small square tins (similar to tiramisu containers). They might taste great, but visually they looked fairly simple, so the price point felt a bit high for what you see. Overall: The space itself is pleasant and the tea was refreshing. It's also nice that they provide games for people to hang out. Unfortunately, between the food delays, items being out of stock, and the feeling that the kitchen wasn't fully prepared yet, the experience ended up feeling like a lot of money spent without much payoff. Personally it's not a spot I'd return to, though the atmosphere may still appeal to people looking for a place to relax and play a game

The cashier said he'd look for a coffee strainer or something like that to hold the red cup. Then I placed my order, the iced ube coconut macchiato. Instead of 2% milk, I wanted oat milk. The cashier couldn't hear me because of the music playing in the background and I wasn't loud enough but he repeated back what he heard. It was right. I started waiting at 11:25 am. The employees are not allowed to touch the red cup because of health reasons which is valid. It took 3 minutes to complete the order. Last time went here was several years ago. There was a grand reopening a year or more ago. It seemed brighter and wider because of the wall color. I think the tables used to be darker and higher but now they're lighter and lower. I had the cashier scan my Starbucks app after paying. The thing is, you should ALWAYS scan your Starbucks Rewards barcode in the app or your registered Starbucks Card before the cashier processes your payment. I had to look that up when I got home because I didn't get any stars. The app could be improved by including more FAQs. Other customers haven't received stars either. A receipt wasn't given so I checked how much money was left on the gift card I used. There was $17.54 before ordering and after ordering it was $10.89. The coffee itself was $6.75 but since I brought the Starbucks red cup I got the $0.10 discount. The macchiato look different from what's on the menu because I was carrying it and walking. I barely taste the ube but that's because the cold foam is made of ube and coconut. So it's supposed to be subtle. I taste more of the coconut but that's because of the flakes and syrup. I'm not a coffee person, but it's alright. The customer next to me asked what it was and the employee that served it said iced ube coconut macchiato.
