The prices at this cafe do not match the quality of food, drinks, and customer service. Furthermore, the place LACKS in cleanliness within the current COVID-19 environment! They do not have signs nor tell customers to practice social distancing. The managing staff is rude and defensive! I highly suggest to avoid this mediocre cafe! Service was absolutely horrible. I waited in line for about 50 minutes, but the worker taking orders was obviously taking her time, taking selfies with other employees and serenely sipping her own coffee. My matcha was $7, although it wasn't even mixed. I got a mouthful of straight matcha powder on my first sip, and I almost gagged. I was so close to leaving, and I'm disappointed that I didn't. This is our go to coffee spot in the morning. I like this place more than Starbucks I wish it was franchise. They have good coffee, lots of tea options and good prices. They have fun other items to get like 8 different flavors of biscotti to go with your brew or other little treats. I ordered a peach smoothie, a mango smoothie, iced coffee and hot coffee but I came to get an açaí bowl. The issue with the açaí bowl was that it was $13 and the toppings weren't that great. The other prices were high as well but the service was great and the smoothies were good. read more

Eddie and I yelp-searched for a coffee shop in OCMD, walked down to what used to be an espresso bar and is now a spice shop (thanks, yelp), and ultimately walked into the Holiday Inn to ask if they had any suggestions. LIKE WHAT IS THIS IGNORANCE. We settled for Dunks that day because we had already walked 20 blocks, but everybody knows that the quality of Dunks severely dips the further you venture from their home-base of New England. Today I decided to walk in the opposite direction and try the Coffee Beanery. Yes, yes, yes. This is what I needed. PROS: - Both flavor-brewed coffee and flavor syrups. - Well-stocked milk & sugar bar w/ cinnamon, nutmeg, various sugar options (incl Stevia). - Relatively inexpensive. - Helpful & knowledgeable staff. - Delicious-looking pastries. Coffee tasted very watery and acai bowl didn't have enough options, which was a big disappointment seeing as how it was so expensive. Learned from my mistake and stuck to Pablo's Bowls and Dunkin' Donuts. May I also add that when I went there, many of the fruits for the acai bowl did not look very appetizing, and I also didn't like their choices that they had. This is my go-to coffee shop in OC. I am not a Starbucks fan, and I would rather support a local business. The staff is super-friendly and the foods are decent. Staff is quick to accommodate special requests and customizations. The coffee is very good, although admittedly not excellent. The last time I was there, there was only one person serving, and she was way in the weeds - but that did not diminish her service. Also bought whole beans to go, and they made a decent cup of coffee at home (better than my step-dad's Maxwell House, that's for sure). For that reason I'll definitely keep returning! read more

I saw the "now open" signs while running down costal highway and decided I had to go there when I was done (I thought it said Coffee Beanie... which is what I still call it because it's way more fun!). Anyway, it is super new, super clean, and the people are super nice. I got the drink of the day which was a cream brulee iced coffee the girl working the front desk said it was good and she was right! It totally hit the spot and it wasn't that expensive! AND they have a drive through and lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Even a fireplace inside for winter trips to the beach! :) Recommended! read more

First time here, wanted some good coffee and a light breakfast. I was encouraged to get the iced white chocolate mocha, I wanted a large and it came with 3 espresso shots. I knew it would be sweet so I added an extra shot. The drink is good but very sweet and even aye 4 shots, still couldn't taste any coffee. I also got a sausage egg and cheese croissant, which was a good size and good tasting. I would come back because it's such a cute little beachy coffee shop, but I would try to find a more satisfying espresso drink with the perfect combination of sweet and espresso bitterness I love. read more

I have been coming here for years and we are usually very happy with our food and drink. On our last visit, we were very disappointed with the quality of food. We ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a sausage breakfast sandwich. The bagel with cream cheese was not made - it came with a small container of cream cheese on the side - not helpful in the car. The sausage bagel was inedible. It was clearly microwaved and the egg was dry and hard. The cheese was also hard and left the sandwich tasteless. Hopefully this was just a fluke - we will give it another try. read more

The coffee here is excellent, ground from beans just before it's brewed for you. I had a great decaf and a cinnamon scone, which we enjoyed inside. The service is top notch. We were visiting Ocean City and asked the manager for dinner recommendations. He listed some restaurants and then printed directions to the restaurants.
