I absolutely love this coffee shop. I especially like the Café Carmel. Every time I visit Ocean City I make sure I visit. The servers are always polite whether you walk in or go through the drive-thru. I just wish I had a Coffee Beanery in my hometown. read more

Came here for the WiFi. First off the review that talked about the bad smell is 100% accurate. I tried to figure out what it was but couldn't. If its nice, sit outside, save yourself. I bought a tall Americano since I was going to be there awhile doing some work that couldn't wait for my vacation to be over. I took 2 or 3 sips before throwing it away. This place can't even compare with Starbucks, I'm not even sure it can compare with gas station coffee! While I was excited to see a coffee shop right across the street from where I usually stay, I'm so glad the coffee snob voice in my head told me to pack some of my own coffee brewing equipment on vacation. I will probably stop by again for the wifi, but nothing else. read more

A nice little coffee shop off Coastal Highway around 94th street. The inside sorta reminds me of Starbucks, but better because they also offer gelato. When I first walked in I notice right away that they had two different counters, one for gelato (surprised to see that) and the other for coffe & sandwiches. Anyways I had a party of three and we decided to order two small gelato (small was two scoops) for around $4 each, and I also ordered a iced americano. I wasn't sure how orders went but I ended up placing two separate orders at two different counter. I ended up trying a little bit of gelato from both cup (strawberry & white chocolate raspberry). Both flavor was good and not overpowering. As for the ice americano, it taste like any other cup. Nothing to brag about, but they did have a a station to make your coffee, with everything filled which I can't say for most coffee shop. Overall a nice coffee shop with friendly staff and decent coffee. Will go back again to try different gelato flavors and to try out a sandwich. Will definitely remember this place for my next visit to OC. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop i've been to! Starbucks vibe but BETTER. So many options from BECs on a bagel to tuna salad or fresh fruit for a healthier option. Many drink choices, milk alternatives (soy,coconut,etc) from coffee to tea and juices in between. They also serve italian gelato and its fantastic as well. On vacation here and wishing i could bring it home with me to CT because it is that addicting. Coffees are slightly pricey but worth it, not bitter like starbucks. Lovely little seating area on the outer porch also for a nice spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. Very friendly staff! Going to miss this place! read more

I went up to the cashier and said "Can I have an iced caramel latte" and she said "what flavor" to which I replied "...caramel" and then she asked if I wanted an espresso shot and I was confused and said "yeah...?" And then she charged me $7! And then the barista made an iced frapp! So I said "oh I wanted this as a latte" and he was like "Oh well I heard a caramel iced frap, but I'll make it for you". (I NEVER order fraps FROM ANYWHERE they're not my thing). So he makes it and I apologized for the misunderstanding and he said "Next time just do it right"!!!!!!!! I walked out of there LIVID! I AM a barista at a coffee shop and the coffee wasn't even good and customer service SUCKS! There was no reason for him to get so mad. Oh yeah and the latte was disgusting. So this company will never see my face in ANY of there stores again. read more

This is a great place for coffee. Every drink I have had is very good. Nice atmosphere inside. Quick service when I've been there, but I have not been there any time it was exceptionally busy. Affogato with coconut and chocolate gelato was sooooo delicious! The expresso shot was so tasty with the gelato. My kids enjoyed the Mango gelato (dairy-free). The service was great; staff was vert friendly. We will be back for a cup of coffee tomorrow :) read more

Customer service needs work. Order a black coffee with hazlenut flavor and NO sugar. Drove away...tasted coffee and it was extremely sweet. Drove back to tell them I did not want/cant have any sugar. Rather than giving me a black coffee with no sugar (and after seeing I disliked the coffee they gave me enough to drive back) they choose to instead argue that my order had sugar substitute - not sugar. Had to throw coffee out - in front of them - and still no replacement of black coffee. So much for trying a new coffee shop for the first time. read more

Always in search of good coffee whilst vacationing, I stumbled upon this place with fingers crossed. From the outside, it's a brand new building, with drive thru. Inside, your typical cafe mocha-coffee-crema tones are abundant. Comfy sectional leathers seats arranged near a fireplace in the corner, surrounded by high top tables. They serve their own coffee brand, as well as Pacific chai and Republic of Tea ( my favorite). Their menu selection rivals Starbucks' but have a limited pastry selection. Flavored syrups are their own brand, but are more extensive. They also have flavored coffee options and you can bring home a pound bag of all their coffees. I ordered a large flavored iced coffee with soy which was delicious. My partner ordered a soy chai which he enjoyed. This place has done their homework it seems to compete with Starbucks (they have a drive thru). An area of opportunity would be better trained baristas (they couldn't tell me what flavor notes were in my iced coffee, nor did the drink maker know how to make an iced soy chai). Being it's a franchise, it's easy to see how the details could fall through, but if you're in the business of selling and making coffee, then it is an art to be learned and taken seriously.i do recommend this place if you're missing your Starbucks. Not impressed with the quality of coffee, I ordered a XL iced white mocha, left a horrible after taste in my mouth and tasted like French vanilla creamer was used to make my drink. I work at a Starbucks and came here while on vacation with the wife. The store was very clean and neat with a cozy fireplace right in the corner. The menu boards are very well lit LCD screens and they have physical menus offering their hot sandwich options. The condiment bar was very well stocked with many options including a large bottle of honey tea. The layout of the store is uncluttered and they had a good variety of syrups, mugs, travel cups and tea to buy. I got a green tea which admittedly is hard to mess up but the wife got a chai which she really enjoyed. Would recommend for the weary traveller trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of OC. read more

Look I don't know much about coffee. If I do go to the big chains I normally get one of two things. White chocolate mocha or an americana. The husband went to coffee bean tonight and got us vanilla chai tea. I liked it! No scratch that, I loved it! I read the reviews and was a little worried for what he was going to bring home. Walked in the minute the doors opened 7 am on Friday . Received a greeting from the staff (which is one of the most overlooked , yet most crucial parts in starting off a positive experience for the customer) I ordered a coffee, which was incredible. In Ocean City for the weekend and saw this new place so we decided to go in. The inside feels nice and cosy. Fireplace, LCD TVs, books, and free wifi. The smell that previous reviews have mentioned is non existent and the White Chocolate Pumpkin latte is the BOMB DIGGITY. I had a bagel with sausage and egg, it was reasonably priced and tasty. My fiancé cheddar jack stacker with soup. Both meals exceeded expectations. Highly recommend stopping in if your in town. read more

This is by far the worst thing I have ever tried to digest. We just went through their drive thru and ordered two bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwiches, a blueberry banana muffin, and two iced caramel coffees. The bacon was soggy and almost inedible, and the sandwiches lukewarm. The coffee tasted like something they dug out of their sewer line and slopped in our cup. There was no evidence of caramel in either cup, and the overwhelming taste of bitter coffee indicated that they had no idea how to make a beverage....and we got this all for $18.95. Awful and money wasted. The muffin was the best part of breakfast but they probably didn't have to make that. Stay away and save your money. You've been warned!! read more

Staff was confused with what I ordered. I ordered a black and white mocha latte. Grande came with one shot of espresso, should of been at least 2 or 3 in that sized drink. It was burnt tasting and not worth the almost 5 dollars. Staff spoke minimal English. I was not impressed and I always look for a local coffee shop where ever I go instead of the chain ones. Parked up to the drive through, and waited for a few minutes, no one said anything so we decided to park in their parking lot and walk in, which defeats the purpose of trying the drive through. The lights were on and there were people inside, they clearly saw us walking up to the door (mind you, theres TWO to go in). Once inside, two workers yelled "we're closed!!" As if they couldn't take two seconds to tell us through the speaker when we were in the drive through much less when we were going through the SECOND door. Waste of time. Their coffee is good. Their bakery is excellent. The dining room and bathrooms are clean and well-kept. The staff is friendly and courteous. Early in the morning, before they get busy, the service is good. Unfortunately, they do not perform well under pressure. There were half a dozen people behind the counter when they were busy and they were still floundering. I've gotten through the Starbucks line on Christmas day in less than 20 minutes. There really was no excuse for how slow they were with how well-staffed they appeared to be. Very disorganized. Worst of all my drink was not as I had ordered it. I had asked for a single pump of hazelnut syrup and when I received my drink it did not taste a thing like hazelnut (I think it was caramel syrup) and it was at full sweetness. As an additional note their Frappes are made with powder and not customizable. It tasted okay and didn't make me cough as have some other Frappes I've experienced.
