Nutella crepe was BOMB, super filling too! My brothers had the cheesesteak and said it was good and the fries were one of the best fries I've had! Our server was really nice but some of the other staff were kind of rude, other than that its a nice little breakfast spot

Great food, great service!!! Our place for breakfast. We love coming back and every time we get excellent experience!!!

Stopped here from breakfast on a Wednesday morning. Small place who's interior decor doesn't match the outside decoration at all - They were friendly enough - got a pancake combo which comes with eggs and bacon along with the pancakes. Nothing was too incredibly good or bad - just was good. Just was ok. Waitress was cordial. But the guy cooking who came out seemed the nicest in the house.

Great food and service at a reasonable cost. I love scrapple and they do it right here. The hash browns are excellent also and the eggs were prepared as ordered. No complaints, great place to go for breakfast.

It was a good breakfast. The service was prompt. And what you'd hope for. Not overly friendly but did the job well. The restaurant was nestled under a small hotel. The interior was quaint and cozy with small tables and 4 chairs per table. Very minimalist feel. The food came out fast. I ordered the ribeye and eggs. It came with white toast and hash browns and I added a side of bacon. The bacon was excellent! The hash browns were also excellent. The steak was okay. It was a little bland and had quite a bit of fat. The eggs were scrambled but were a little bit undercooked. The toast was cold. Overall okay. I would eat there again but wasn't stellar.

Clean with great food. If you're looking for a local diner with a big menu, and a very retro looking field, you'll be happy. It's part of a motel on the corner of the strip on the Maryland shore, and it wasn't very busy when I stopped him. I had read the reviews and ordered the crab Benedict which they called the Chesapeake Benedict. Plenty of crab, the crab was fresh, the holidays was tangy, and a hash

    Plenty of room for you!

Food, service, and everything was good. Fresh ingredients and relatively light. The last time in this spot it was General's Kitchen. Looks quite a bit bigger.

THE WORST BREAKFAST IVE EVER ORDERED. We ordered their food on DoorDash and when I say there wasn't a drop of seasoning on this food I mean not one bit of it. Everything was so bland. The steak was suppose to be medium but it was very well done and dry. Eggs didn't have any salt or pepper on it and the hash browns were greasy. I didn't even want to finish eating, so disappointing. They don't even deserve one star.

After doing some quick breakfast spot research on a rainy Saturday morning, I somewhat reluctantly led my crew to Sea Star for a mid morning meal. Not so many reviews and all glowing made me a little curious. I have to say, the existing reviews were spot on. We had no wait and the friendly staff were very nice and I might add forgiving since my toddler was quite busy. Everyone loved their breakfasts. My Chesapeake Benedict was delicious, hearty and reasonably priced for the amount of crab on it. My kids loved their perfectly tender waffles and spouse ate up his bacon and eggs. Coffee was tasty and overall cost was excellent. On a side note, the bathrooms were very clean as was the restaurant. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. It's nice to find these smaller and more cozy establishments. Great job Sea Star!

Quick, friendly service. The Chesapeake eggs Benedict was excellent! My husband got an egg sandwich. He said it was good, nothing overly special.

Food was cold upon arrival. The service was fine but I would not give this place above 1 star. It was not great quality food.

They actually got so busy, so some orders got mixed up, they chose to give us extra food for the trouble. We placed a to-go order, there wasn't much waiting room however, the manager was very accommodating and constantly checked on us. We ordered the French toast, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, hash brown, The Nashville Hot Chicken which comes with Mac-n-Cheese (MUST TRY), smoothies and ice coffee. We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.

Really should have gotten something sweet. I really did love the decor. They did really go hard with the pink and strawberries but I completely loved it. Aug. 2025 | A+ Service, Legendary Breakfast…read more Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 5 out of 5 So many great things to say about this place, but let's start with the standout... Customer Service: Hands down the best we experienced during our 9-day family trip to OCMD. Karri, our waitress, made us feel like family, loved her. Jeff & Mike were professional, friendly, and made a point to engage with every table. Breakfast? PHENOMENAL. Best we've had, not just this summer, but in all our years visiting OCMD. My wife and son agree. Everything was homemade and cooked to order. No frozen shortcuts. Portions were just right, flavors balanced beautifully, and nothing overly sweet. Nashville Hot Stuffed French Toast: The bourbon and caramelized apples stole the show. Chicken was a fun twist, though next time I'd get it on the side to keep the sweet and spicy separate. You can skip the chicken altogether and save $4 if you'd like. Banana Foster French Toast: Mind-blowing. The kind of dish that makes you question everything you've ever called "breakfast." Plate was licked clean. Already dreaming of it for summer 2026. Creamed Chipped Beef over Biscuits: Shared this one. Generous portion, nostalgic flavor, clearly a recipe passed down and perfected. Triple Decker: My son had the chocolate chip pancakes, huge portion, perfect texture, and he loved every bite. Only minor con: straws come unwrapped in your drink. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note. Final score: 25/25. Solid A+. Verdict: Highly recommended. We'll be back in summer 2026, no question.
