Cute little brunch here with a friend. Wasn't a huge fan of the shakshuka but everything else was really good. Loved the clarified espresso martini, very different but very delicious. Service was also amazing!

I came here for dinner on a Friday night. Although this restaurant opened less than two months ago, it is already impressively popular so reservations are definitely recommended. We sat in the front room by the door. You could feel a bit of a draft every time someone came in or out, but it wasn't too bad. The decor was tasteful, with an old world vibe. Lighting was dim. To start, we shared the truffle and gouda croquettes. An order came with six pieces and was served with a blue cheese sauce. These were delightfully airy and crispy, though the portion size was a tiny bit small. For my main, I had the black truffle fettuccine. The truffle flavor was mild and a bit tangier than I'm used to, but the mushrooms were perfectly tender and the sauce was pleasantly creamy. My husband had the Parisian burger and enjoyed it. To drink, I had the Bow Thai. You could definitely taste the rum and it was nice and fruity. They forgot to give us utensils for our entrees, but otherwise, service was good. The owner was friendly and stopped by our table to check if everything went well, which was very appreciated. This is a great addition to the neighborhood! I'm looking forward to trying their pizza next.

I celebrated my husband's birthday here. It was a Monday night so there ambiance was very chill. There weren't that many people there. But we loved the vibe. We had our small child with us and they catered to them. Service was impeccable. The manager was super attentive and very personable. The food was fresh and delicious. Even the kids chicken tenders were so good (haha). I will definitely be back for a happy hour session.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a nightcap. The ambiance in the restaurant/bar is wonderful. Definitely a NYC vibe. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I had their version of the old fashion and my boyfriend had a Jamaican rum and coke. Both drinks were wonderful. We are looking forward to returning for dinner!

New cafe in town - soon the restaurant too! There's a lot of nice attention to detail for the decor and aesthetic. The coffee menu is small but solid. The pastries are from Balthazar. I can't wait to make memories here!

The food and service as well as the ambience are wonderful at this new gem of a restaurant in Pelham. I've only visited twice, but I'm very happy with everything. I've experienced thus far. I think people of all ages would love it, though it's not a place for small children. They do have a kids menu, if you decide to bring your children with you. The bar is fabulous, and the mixologists do a good job. I will definitely attend again. I wish they're happy hour was longer than one hour, and I wish the seats were more comfortable. But it's a small price to pay to have the stuff dates.

Great food, atmosphere and cocktails. Would highly recommend for dinner or drinks. I can't wait to go back and also try the cafe for coffee and pastries.

Wow. I just went to here with my boyfriend's family for his birthday and I'm so glad I did…read more The food was amazing. We ordered the porterhouse, creamed spinach, calamari, baked clams, the jumbo baked potato, and some pasta. The porterhouse was perfectly seasoned, and it was enough for three people to share. Whatever sauce the baked clams were doused in, I need that recipe. I used the complementary bread to soak up some of that juice and it was amazing. Their espresso martinis were also really good and strong. The only thing I did not like was the jumbo baked potato. It just felt like there was Velveeta cheese slathered on top, so if there's an item I would pass on, it would be this one. Just get regular mashed potatoes. The service was amazing. The owner came out to meet with us multiple times. Our waiters were very attentive and gave us ample time to order. They literally cut our meat and served it for us. The ambience was really nice. It's your usual steakhouse joint, with dim lighting. However, the best part about this dinner was that they seated us in a private room with one other party. It was very intimate and nice and I don't think I could've asked for better service. The cherry on top was that they came out with limoncello shots to end the night. If you're in the Westchester area, please definitely come check this place out. It is worth the money, time, and effort. You will not be disappointed.

The owner was very gracious and offered us six complementary oysters since we couldn't sit at the bar. The oysters weren't our favorite that evening, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The rest of the meal was very enjoyable. The crab cake was enormous, the grilled octopus was excellent - my son loved it - and the veal with prosciutto and melted cheese was tasty. The baked potato was huge and cooked perfectly. I ordered a cocktail and they made me one with elderflower which was nice but a little sweet for my taste. My friend's Manhattan was nice and strong. What stood it the most was the hospitality. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience, and that level of service is sobering we really appreciated. Next time we'll probably make it an adult only happy hour so we can enjoy the bar menu.

However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.
