There were 3 of us, we ordered coffee and one of us had an ice cream from outside that he was eating, one of the employees approached us and said that no outside drinks is allowed in a very sassy way and when we tried to explain that it is an ice cream, she didn't wanna listen and kept asking that we throw it away, which we did. Less than half an hour after, this same employee was eating an outside food with some of her friends and one of them had a bottle that contained a liquid which can't be determined, which is considered an outside drink, but apparently the rule doesn't apply to them. read more

I always pass by this coffee shop on the way to the vet's office but never had the chance to go try it out until today. Coffee Rush offers a plethora of flavored coffee drinks in both regular and sugar free options. I stepped in and was impressed by the size and atmosphere of this place. It's quite nice inside and the outdoor patio is picturesque with a gently flowing fountain and plenty of seating. I had a 16 oz ("Small" size) iced caramel nut latte with soy milk. It was made so fast I would have thought the barista was a Jimmy John's employee in a previous life lol. The total was a little more than $4.50 and I was out the door in no time. The coffee in the latte was smooth and the flavors complemented each other well. It wasn't overly sugary which was much appreciated. I did like it with soy but if they offered drinks with almond milk I'd be even happier! Due to the friendly, lightning fast service, lovely atmosphere and good coffee I'll be back to try another drink. read more

Pretty good coffee but doesn't necessarily go above and beyond with the taste or presentation. Customer service is a big deal for the staff here, really cool people. If you like a good cup of coffee and enjoy sitting outside on a cool rainy day they have a nice outside seating area that's perfect for that. read more

If you want mediocre and stale iced coffee, this is the place for you! Since they dont offer a cold brew(wha?) I elected to try the iced coffee with light cream and a pump of vanilla. they don't offer liquid sweetener( wha?). It tasted like a cup of cold coffee about 5 hours old, just add some ice to old coffee and you're golden. Not! The prices are low, as they should be, for this low level of coffee. I came here on a weekday to study with an friend. We were looking for a place that opened late and so we tried this one. There's several locations as well. It's pretty spacious inside and there's lots of tables and bars to study with power outlets. They do make you buy a drink before you get to sit down. I tried the black and white mocha blended reduced sugar. The cashier will also ask you if you want to use internet and she'll give you the code but keep in mind it's only good for 3 hours. I hear that after a certain amount of time if you are still there they will make you buy another drink but I only stayed for about 4 hours. As for as the drink, I really did not like it. I should have known when I saw her pour in two scoops of a powder and I could taste the powder grains in the drink. I've been to other locations and tried the black and white reduced sugar and it was fine so maybe I had to get it full sweetness. I'm not sure about the other drinks so maybe I'll have to come back and try something different but I would stay away from that one. Service 4/5. Drink 3/5. read more

I actually really love the drinks, the employees and the overall ambiance of Coffee Rush. That being said, their plastic cups are so flimsy. I enjoy getting a 32oz drink and will often get more than one at a time for friends, and have had the drinks spill everywhere because the cups crack with the slightest pressure. It's frustrating and disappointing. I feel like I can't get orders to go any more because I'm scared the cup is going to break. I've been told multiple people have had this issue as well. Hopefully they get new cups soon. read more

We've gone to coffee rush many times to meet for our book club and this past trip I brought my toddler. My toddler and I were sipping on a shake when we arrived because there's nothing on coffee rush's menu she can have and I was asked to "chug my drink or throw it out or go put it in my car". I tried the chug method and the rudest most power hungry female manager came out and said I either had to go outside with my toddler in the 110 degree heat and finish the drink or "give away the table" (keep in mind this was at 5 pm so there were only 2 other customers in the building, plenty of open tables). I was so shocked with how I was treated. This manager invaded my space and refused to move out of my space until I stood up with my toddler and went outside to finish the last sip of the beverage. I understand not wanting to bring in outside beverages but making a mom take her toddler outside so she can finish her drink is absurd. This manager showed a complete lack of empathy and showed me that Coffee Rush doesn't care about their customers. We will not be having book club here ever again and I will make sure that friends and family know of this experience because someone who would treat their customers with such disrespect does not deserve our business. read more

Solid coffee place. The black iced tea and various coffee drinks are quite good, the 32 oz size pricing is decent and I prefer the coffee and definitely the tea to Dunkin or Starbucks. The baristas are always nice and polite. Good indoors and outdoors seating. Outside the misting system makes sitting out there in the mid-80s F heat doable which is no mean feat. The only negative for me is the cleaning person sometimes will clean an area less than 1 foot away from you, while you're sitting there, so it will reek of Pinesol plus disinfectant mix. No asking you to move, no heads up, the guy just shows up right behind you within elbow touching distance with the mop and bucket. Very cool, man. read more

Yum! We happen to just stumble upon coffee rush and give it a try. I loved that the menu was easy to read and there was something for everyone. I got to say this place is still the best place to get your coffee in Arizona I love Dutch Bros in Starbucks and all that but this is the one place that I grew up with and it's never changed. I needed to find a coffee shop on Baseline in the Gilbert area to meet an out of town friend. This is out of my territory so did some research on Yelp. I found Coffee Rush with good reviews. A previous reviewer noted the blended mint mocha drink was good. I decided to give that a try without whipped cream & with nonfat milk. Okay - tooooo good!! Service is fast & friendly. You can sit inside or outside on their pleasant patio... but beware smoking is allowed on the patio. Regardless, its still a pleasant patio with a water fountain in the middle. My friend had a mango green tea that she said was good too. I have since been there several times. The blended mint mocha is addictive! I recommend Coffee Rush. read more
