Cute little floral inspired cafe! I stopped by on an early morning to get some caffeine. The baristas were friendly and kind, which really matched the vibe of the whole place - blooms everywhere and a cute/peaceful atmosphere. I ordered a hot matcha (made with water) and it was lovely on a cold morning. It wasn't super strong but it also wasn't watered down (like a lot of places seem to do). Bright and green and just what I needed!

I got to try Project Bloom Coffee's pop up at BlackMarket in Sawtelle, and I think it's a MATCHA made in heaven! Matcha has recently become such a trendy drink because of the Hailey Bieber/LA hype, and I'm lowkey tempted to gatekeep this spot since there's currently no long wait at this pop up location. They hand whisk their matcha fresh to order, and use actual ceremonial quality matcha powder from Japan, making for some of the BEST quality matcha drinks I've ever had. The baristas kindly gave us free matcha samples (without pushing us to buy anything), and we ended up buying the Bloom Matcha (which has a matcha cream top) and the Lavender Matcha Latte. Both drinks were absolutely incredible, and I'll definitely be back to try their matcha and Hojicha offerings too!

This review is long overdue because Project Bloom has been one of my haunts for years. A coffee shop/flower shop hybrid, it's a beautiful spot to grab a bite, bevvies, and blooms. Whether you want a single rose or something more unique for a special occasion, you'll find it here. The decor is minimal and nature-inspired with live lush greens and soft woods. The baristas and owners are incredibly warm, friendly, and fast. I love their ice oat chai and their bloom matcha. The latter has a butterscotch cream top which is delicious. I go crazy for their egg sandwich and always gobble it up before I remember to snap a pic. The potato bread is soft, the eggs are plentiful and perfectly scrambled and the sauce is chef's kiss. I also enjoy their prosciutto sandwich. One of my fave coffee shops in LA.

In keeping with my mission to find small, indy coffee and pastry shops all over the southland, I stumbled on Project Bloom. What a delightful surprise. Mainly, coffee and flowers. Why not? Why doesn't every florist have a coffee bar and conversely, why doesn't every coffee spot fill the place with greenery and color as does PBC? PBC is clean, brightly lit, filled with atmosphere, soft colors and, well, blooms! The coffee is the main star but there are some pastries too. We had a Spanish Latte and a Lavender Latte. The latter was the best I have ever had, possibly due to the fact that they make their own lavender syrup. Smooth, flowery, delicate, elegant flavor paired with superb Arabica coffee served at the right Goldilocks temperature. Sonny and Cin welcomed us and made our order so fast that we were reluctant to leave and go back to the real world, LOL. They have been at this location for two+ years. I hope they will stay forever. If there is one caveat: the parking lot is small and fills up quickly but there are people coming and going. A little patience and you will get a spot -- it's worth it, trust me.

Always a great morning when we stop by for coffee. The egg sandwich is delicious and I highly recommend the grapefruit espresso tonic.

Came here to get a coffee after we were persuaded from the sample they were giving on the street during ciclavia. The match was super strong but also we ordered the wrong thing from the menu (not the one that was sampled). Our matcha milk was bland and has no sugar at all. The sugar is extra? Please ask when you ordered if it is sweet or something needs to be added.

Absolute hidden gem of a coffee located in the heart of Hollywood. I've tried most cafes in the area but none come close to their chai or breakfast sandwich. They always have a fresh selection of flowers/houseplants and double a florist, as if it wasn't already perfect enough! The entire staff are friendly and always make my drink exactly how I want.

What an adorable, delightful little oasis of joy and coffee! Project Bloom might be tiny location, but it's absolutely packed with personality, from the smiling baristas to the flowers and nicknacks surrounding the space. The food and drink reflects that unique personality. I got a lavender latte, created with a house-made lavender syrup, and it's one of the most unique coffee beverages I've ever tried. I blended a perfect sweetness and espresso with a light herbal flavor. Honestly, I'm already addicted and am sad that I don't live close enough to become a regular. For food I had the ham and cheese croissant. It was perfectly baked and glossy and flakey all over. But more importantly there was a surprise inside: grain mustard and pickles?? I imagine some people might not appreciate that, but my god standard ham and cheese croissants are going to pale compared to this going forward. It kinda tasted like a Cuban sandwich in croissant form? It ruled! Just an all around pleasant cafe with unique flavors and a super friendly staff. It's definitely on the pricier side, but at this point what coffee shop isn't?

The cafe's name could be perfect representative of the design you'd expect. Yep, they did sell flowers and in-themed decorations. The menu had nothing to do with flowers though, so don't overthink it. Trying their cold brew latte with almond milk for my quick coffee stop and it's surely not bad. So worth exploring when you fancied enjoying your cup of joe with a gorgeous view.

The most cute and aesthetic cafe!!! I've gotten pretty much all of their bloom lattes and they're all so good. They also sell flowers and plants on the side, and I got a pothos + pot for my room. I go at least twice a week and it's my staple for matchas.

This place is hidden in a plaza but it's pretty good. However , it is kind of pricey for over $8 for a basic latte, i definitely don't recommend spending that much since it was nothing special. They are cute inside with a welcoming garden vibe. They were slow to make the drink for only me and there was not a long line when I went but the workers were chatting and taking some time with making my drink.

Is there really a mask policy? I checked Pause Tea & Coffee out this week and there was a man sitting in there not wearing a mask.

Hi Eva, we do ask all customers to have their masks on and we have many notices posted enforcing that policy. We haven’t noticed anybody that hasn’t been following the rules during our hours but thank you for letting us know that you saw this… Read more

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Just found this place through Instagram ads and decided to give it a try. Just for information,…read moretheir working hours are 9 AM-9 PM, 7 days a week. I mentioned this because we missed it on one of our attempts. Finally, on Sunday evening, my husband and I had a chance to visit Butcher and Booze. Very interesting store, with a delicious smell. There is a huge section of drinks where you can find very unique wines and alcoholic beverages. They also have a section of Japanese drinks, and in another corner, different kinds of unique seasonings, BBQ charcoal, and other BBQ supplies. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Next to the drinks section, there are several tables available indoors and two tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining to enjoy your meals. Their food menu is very interesting, and we tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches (which they prepare completely in-house from A to Z). The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try. I noticed a huge samovar (large kettle) and another kettle in the corner of the open kitchen, and I asked about them. Argisht, who noticed my interest and who I believe is behind the kitchen and the delicious food success there, started a very warm and helpful conversation with us and surprised us by serving cups of tea. The tea tasted super soft and delicious. If you have ever tried Middle Eastern tea, you will love this tea. Luckily, they are selling it in the store, if I am not wrong it was Sri Lanka tea, which I have never seen in any store around Glendale or Burbank. Thank you for the great food, awesome store, and very positive and friendly service. With just one visit, Butcher and Booze will become one of your usual spots, so don't miss it!

We came here on Christmas Eve hoping to try their sandwiches but to also buy some meat as a white elephant gift. First off we were greeted warmly by the staff - not just the cashier but every staff member working behind the counter. On top of that, they gave us a shot of cognac for my husband and I to try. We decided to try buy some wagyu burger patties for the white elephant (we ended up winning these back during our white elephant - they were excellent!). The patties were juicy, rich, and so tasty! Can't wait to try other cuts! When we checked out, they offered us two small complimentary bottles of champagne and some produce from their refrigerated area. this was so kind of them to do so. This place is like your one stop shop - hot food, butcher, alcoholic drinks, liquor, and other cooking goods like seasonings, caviar, butter etc. Unfortunately they were not serving sandwhiches that day so we didn't get to try but we will definitely be coming back to try! Thanks so much to the staff and Butcher and Booze for treating us like fam.
