We got the Margherita pizza, and it was SO good! I loved how crispy the crust was. When you picked up a slice, it didn't just flop over. It stayed nice and crispy. It had so much flavor, and I was seriously so happy with it. I also got the Help Wanted drink, and it was really good too. I think I found my new favorite pizza spot! If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by. I'm already planning to go back so I can try more of their pizzas and appetizers!

During my most recent visit this week I noticed that much of the kitchen staff seemed to be different from the team I've seen over the past few years. The pizza was genuinely disappointing. The crust lacked flavor, the toppings were sparse and it felt like something that had been rushed out of the kitchen with little attention to detail. Even the presentation was careless, which was surprising because this restaurant used to take pride in what they served. It's frustrating to see a place that I used to recommend decline this much. I really hope the upper management takes a look at what's happening to the restaurant because the Old Town Tap I used to enjoy no longer seems to exist.

The "foraged mushrooms" were just wood ear, oyster, and shimeji mushrooms, which I could find at my local market, and they were drowning in soy sauce and sesame oil, making them extremely salty. The server was kind enough to take it off our bill. Honestly, the dish we enjoyed most was the signature bread and butter. For the price point and expectation from the brand, we were not satisfied.
