My friends and I have done many escape rooms and we all agreed this one was easily in our top 5. It wasn't as flashy as some, but it didn't need to be. The way they tied the puzzles into the storyline was fantastic. We did the dark room, no spoilers, but it was just the right level of creepy. Our game director was really fun to work with, and you can tell he really likes putting these rooms together. Also, there's a side puzzle in the waiting room that was very challenging! They let us stick around after our escape to finish that puzzle, which was like a bonus. Don't miss this escape room! I'm looking forward to trying the other two rooms they had. read more

We played the experiment the other day! Great fun room with an awesome backstory! It was a fun room, but about 1-2 things were a little confusing as some of the clues that went together, you had to guess they went together, but overall a great experience! We had a team event today and had a fantastic time solving the clues and puzzles. Ultimately we were able to accomplish the task and find our way out of the room. They did such a great job, and were so creative! We'll definitely do this again! Great experience! read more

I took my work team here for our spring event and we had a wonderful time! Getting inside the building was a bit confusing as we had to enter through a back alley and cross a few construction lines, but there were plenty of signs that guided us. Once inside, we were given lockers and instructions and, despite one of our team members being 15 minutes late, we were given ample time to get settled! The room itself was a ton of fun, and without giving too much away, it definitely required everyone on our team (7 people total) to finish! We visited ROOM 5280 for an office team building event and had a blast! We split into 3 groups and went to separate rooms. My team did the Heist. It was challenging but very fun. These guys are amazing! First off, "The Dark Room" is the coolest, absolutely the opposite of cheesy. The staff was kind enough to open it up for my husband's bday even though they are normally closed. High recommend this place, I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the rooms. read more

Wonderful staff, unique puzzles and a great experience from start to finish. We did the Heist and the room required a lot of thinking and team work. Our game operator Natalie was absolutely amazing and gave us just enough clues to guide us across the finish line. A few tips to keep in mind:   * It is important to be on time. The duration of the game is one hour but it doesn't include going over the rules. * Communication is the KEY. * Rooms are not linear. There is usually more than one puzzle to work on at any given time so it's best if you split up. Overall, we had a lot of fun and already planning to go back to try the other two rooms! read more

My group did the Dark Room puzzle and it was a thrill filled with super creative puzzles and an interesting narrative. It was my girlfriend's first escape room and it got her hooked! I had a very good experience ! The only problem our group had was finding the location. Being there on time was said to be important so making sure that you know the entrance is in an alley way is helpful when finding it and getting there on time. Other then that, the instructions where clear and the guy who guided our room was inviting !! We went for an 18th birthday party and it was very fun, I would recommend for any party who's looking into a fun group activity. read more

The room only had 22% success rate and we managed to get it with 30 seconds to spare! It was such a great feeling and everyone felt that they were able to contribute to the experience. In a group of 7 we did the heist room which was suitable for a group that size. We all had a lot of fun working collaboratively to make it out, and the owner was very nice and straight forward. The only issue we had was finding the entry to the location which is in the alley way; there's a door with Room 5280 on it and then you walk up the steps. Over all a very good team building activity! read more

My 12-year-old son and I are pretty new to escape rooms and decided to try Room 5280, which was within walking distance of our hotel. We played The Experiment and had a great time. Peter, our game master, was phenomenal. He ran the game with a light touch, slipping a note under the door every now and then to nudge us along. The puzzles were challenging but always logical and fair. We had a total blast and, thanks to a few gifted extra minutes, successfully escaped. Peter spent a lot of time debriefing us after the game and explaining the real science behind the game. Room 5280 is most highly recommend! read more

We found the puzzles challenging and unique, the set fit the theme and we there was enough space in the room not to feel like we were bumping into each other as a group of 7 in the Heist room. My family of four did The Experiment and we loved it. We found out afterward that we had started with the hardest room - oops - but we still solved it with four hints and about ten minutes to spare. The two adults probably did more of the heavy lifting, but the 11-year-old and the 15-year-old each were able to solve at least one clue that eluded the adults. We are not escape room aficionados, but we were satisfied with the theme of the room, and the part where you recreate a classic science experiment was really fun. I'm sure our success was helped by being a science-y family. We also appreciated chatting with the game manager afterward about the puzzles and the history. Me, my husband, our four sons and two friends did "The Heist" for my son's 25th birthday. We were a group of eight, so I thought we would get in each other's way. NOT the case. It was so much fun. The room was challenging but not impossible and we were able to escape with a few minutes to spare. The puzzles definitely took thinking outside of the box, and it was not "easy" by any means. We felt like we were put to the test, but were able to succeed. We did collect one hint, and not sure we would have made it out without it. The staff were friendly and took our photo upon completion.
