The tavern is housed in a historic building that is over 100 years old. The building itself was worth the trip. The food, however, was the real highlight. I had an exceptionally good Shepherds Pie while my wife enjoyed the Irish Kettle dinner that came with corned beef, bangers, rashers. Cabbage, and potatoes cooked in a Guinness based broth.
