Such a fun little place for adults to come for fun! They have adults beverages here but we didn't try any since we had done a wine tour earlier in the day. We came and played the amazing arcade games, it brought back memories from my childhood which was fun. They have basketball shooting vs another person, teenage mutant ninja turtles, mortal kombat 2, Simpsons (graphics seem bad), ski ball, Ms. PAC man, super Mario bros, and so much more!! I would give zero stars after my partner and I had a terrible visit to this Coin-Op location. We were initially excited to stop by since we had previous good experiences at Coin-Ops before, but we were proven wrong with this visit. We came up and were told that it was open seating, so we took two seats towards the end of the bar. The bartender was busy talking to other customers who were already seated, which we didn't mind. However, we were ignored for almost 10-15 minutes and finally when the bartender interacted with us, he was rude and short with us. He slapped down menus and walked off without saying much. Another 10 minutes passed before he came to take our order. At this point we weren't enjoying the vibe, but we didn't have much time to find another place to grab food before an appointment so we put in an order for food and drinks. For food, we ordered the Margherita pizza and the fried chicken sliders. For drinks, we ordered a blue Hawaiian and a booze pouch. The only good thing we got was the pizza. Our drinks were disappointing... the booze pouch was lukewarm and the blue Hawaiian was served in a small cup (when we had seen others served the same exact drink in much larger cups). As for the slider, it was disgusting. The buns were stale, the apple slaw was so sour and just tasted bad, and the pieces of chicken were flavorless and tendinous. I barely ate any of the sliders, and only finished the fries. My partner's pizza was good, but the overall experience wasn't redeemed by it at all. We flagged down the bartender for our check and he gave us attitude that we hadn't ordered more from him. It took quite some time for him to bring it to us, despite not having any new customers at the bar or having any drinks to make. We did not leave a tip and we will not be returning. read more

The coolest place in town for a flashback to youth. Plenty of throwback games to relive the good old days, or for others to have a new experience. Food and drinks available to keep you energized and staff is friendly enough to feel comfortable returning another day. Parking can be tough, but that's not their fault, so find a spot, pop in for a while and have FUN. Very casual atmosphere, but if you stop in after dinner elsewhere and you're all dressed up, you'll still fit right in. read more

I absolutely love this coin-op location. The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming, and the service is beyond amazing. We always end here or start here when we visit old town in Temecula since this establishment offers great food and drinks and fun games. The restrooms are always clean and whether you're inside or on the patio, you'll always have great vibes. Ryan is typically at the bar when we're here and he is the best at his job. Super attentive, friendly, funny and overall a great guy. We love coming here and seeing everyone behind the bar, in the kitchen or even security because seriously they're all great here. Dash has also helped us a few times and he's one of the best mixologist I've seen in action. If you haven't been here already, I'd absolutely recommend this bar over any of them in old town. I love how this place is really adults only. It can get really busy on the weekends. It's a decent size with games that will remind you of your childhood. There's always a line at the basketball one, my favorite to play. It can get hard to order a drink at the bar, but if you're into sweet cocktails, there's a lot to try. What an amazing experience this was! I don't know what was better, the amazing bar decor, drink options, or the classic arcade games! This was my first time exploring Temecula and I'm happy I stumbled upon this place. We were greeted by two great bartenders and gave us amazing recommendations. They have a great selection of beer on tap and if you want to go real old school... you can get a can of old English! I think I was the most surprised to see that! I didn't have any food but from the smell of it, I'll have to try next time. The pizza appeared to be popular amongst everyone because hello alcohol and pizza is never a bad idea! We were in town for a quick weekend getaway and found this cool place one Sunday evening in Old Town Temecula. The artichoke hearts were disappointing, as they had too much batter and little artichoke. When we were done, my friend was offered either the chocolate cake or the cheesecake as a dessert. It was nice of them to offer a free birthday dessert. She chose the chocolate cake. Unfortunately, our server forgot our spoons. We waited and waited... and I had to run in and ask for some. Once we had spoons, we found that the cake was too overly sweet to eat. There was another wait before we left as they were cleaning the bathrooms. I'm glad they clean the bathrooms, but to do both at the same time on a Saturday night was a bit much as a line was forming. Between waiting for the spoons and the bathroom, we were more than ready to leave. All in all, Lukes is an OK place to grab a bite or a drink, but I would probably try other restaurants in the area before returning.

We had a nice chat and Travis was very gracious and told us the intriguing story about how they came up with the name "QUAIL" so be sure to ask, I can only assume he'll indulge you as well. The back room changes from time to time depending on what art show is up. It's a very cozy comfortable spot and nicely decorated. The entire concept is brilliant, right down to the "merch" for sale and expertly curated interior design. This is an elevated scene for Temecula. I'm digging it big-time. I wonder if they ever have a DJ spinning in there or a jazz trio in the back room or something, that would be pretty groovy. Street parking can be full during busy times, this venue doesn't have a parking lot.

Came here for my cousin's 21st birthday party alongside my 23 year old brother. I've been to the one down in San Diego so I'm fairly familiar with the place. Everyone had their IDs checked and got in without issue until they got to my brother. The bouncer had to call over a man, who I believe was the manager of the place, and he decided that my brother's ID was fake. He held it hostage despite our insistence that it was a real California drivers license. He wouldn't even explain why he thought it was fake which made us extremely frustrated. He was just holding it without giving us an actual reason other than his personal opinion that it was fake. We even said that we would leave so long as they gave the ID back because we knew it was real and didn't want to cause further issue but they refused to give it back to us. In the commotion this, the manager started to go on a power trip, kicking out and trespassing members of our party as they were trying to question them about the reason his ID was being held. He just got to a point that he was yelling at everyone, even people who weren't saying anything. Unfortunately we had to call the cops and get them involved in order to get his ID back. They proved his ID was real (obviously) and the police had to be the ones to explain why they thought the ID was fake rather than the manager who was standing around like a dog with its tail between its legs at this point. I want to clarify that it was not the initial bouncer's fault, as he was just doing his job and was very kind to us about the whole thing. It was the "manager" (shorter white guy with short brown hair) that was going on a power trip and completely escalating the situation far more than it should've been. They did give my brother a free drink after they eventually let us into the bar, which was nice, but it was very obvious it was a move to save face with us so that we would go in and spend money. While we still did go in (angry as we were, we aren't crazy enough to turn down a free drink), the damage had already been done at that point and completely shifted the mood for the night. Reading some of the other reviews for this place, it seems like aggressive security and employees are an issue for this location... would recommend going to another bar in the area or making the trip to San Diego if you really want to go to coin-op. read more

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this bar! The bartender was incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. As a local resident of old town, I've been here numerous times, and this visit was by far the best. I was served promptly and efficiently. The bartender didn't waste any time and made sure everyone was taken care of. Even when he was engaged in conversations with other patrons, he always managed to multitask and attend to everyone's needs. It was refreshing to see such excellent service. What impressed me the most was the bartender's sense of humor and his ability to create a lively atmosphere. He engaged with the customers in a playful manner, making jokes and putting smiles on everyone's faces. His energy was contagious, and it made my evening so much more enjoyable. I'd like to share my unfortunate experience here at this establishment. My wife and I were having a wonderful date day in Old Town Temecula until it was spoiled by a questionable encounter. I purposely walked all the way from one end of Old Town Temecula to the other just to check this place out. We literally got there at the same time as I'm assuming the owners were arriving as they unlocked the doors to walk in. They turned and looked at me but didn't say a word. I looked up and saw the hours of operations and realized they weren't open. We then walked to the end of the business when my wife suggested we just sit at there outdoor seating. I initially second guessed but figured we weren't doing anything wrong. We were at the far end right at the gate. As we sat there a large group came and sat right in front of this business. We were just about to leave when one of the guys (owners?) walks up and says " you guys can't be here, we're closed. How did you get in here anyway? (It's open seating mind you) He tried to fix how rude he was by saying they needed to wipe down the tables. It was around 1:20pm and they opened at 2pm. The really sad thing is I didn't say a word, I'm unfortunately used to this. My wife who is Mexican and Puerto Rican has drawn a blind eye but due to recent events is starting to see this ugliness. As we walked away she said " that felt a little racist." I just smirked. In closing the group who was sitting in front was all white. I didn't see them being asked to leave. I'm African American. Make what you want of this. I myself won't ever step foot in nor spend a dime in thestablishment. Just sharing my unfortunate truth. read more

My wife and I always have a great experience at Coin-Op in Old Town Temecula, and this visit was no exception! The food and drinks were amazing as always, and the atmosphere is such a fun place to hang out. What really made our visit stand out was the exceptional customer service from our bartenders, Janelle and Maddy. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we always had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. They had a great attitude, made awesome drink recommendations, and genuinely made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. I spent an evening at a bar and had a great time. This was my first time here. The bartender was incredibly helpful when we were deciding what to order, making recommendations with a friendly smile. I started with the Princess Peach cocktail and later tried the Sour Watermelon shooter--both were delightful and well-crafted. The bar also featured a variety of fun games, which added to the lively atmosphere. Some of my favorites included Pac-Man, basketball, and Mario Kart. We came in to celebrate my brother in laws birthday after his release from the ICU after an accident. My daughter was with us playing games since children are allowed until 8pm. A man started hitting on her at the Zoltar machine so she told me that she felt uncomfortable. I went to the man to tell him that she was 12 and he rolled his eyes at me. I tried to tell security, but he is friends with them, so they played ukelele and ignored me. This establishment is ok with sexual abuse towards minors. That is not ok. Came into Coin op and had an absolute blast. The vibe was on point the second I walked in, but what really made the night unforgettable was Dash behind the bar. Dash is hands-down one of the best bartenders I've ever had. Super welcoming, high energy, and really knows how to take care of people.
