Ate here for the first time, and it won't be the last time either! I ordered the So-Cal burger, which is a burger with thousand island dressing, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. It was incredibly good! The meat was seasoned perfectly, which most places don't do. I got the onion strings as a side and they were very tasty! My friend had a regular cheeseburger with onions, lettuce, tomato, and pickles with a side of fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were sliced pretty thin and seasoned so well! I'll be getting this side next time. You order at the counter and they bring your basket to you. This place is one corner of a gas station store. Very unassuming, but really good food! Very little decor inside since it's pretty small inside. Such good food!! read more

***Update*** I've now tried their breakfast burrito.... HOLY MOLY!! I have to say this is the BEST darn breakfast burrito I've ever had! SO good! I swear they never disappoint. Here's my favorite combination: Sausage, egg, cheese, bacon, jalapeno, onion, mushroom, tomato, hashbrowns (all inside the burrito). You can literally add any breakfast items to it. Phenomenal! And try it with spicy ranch and/or the red/green salsa. We eat here several times a week and it is fantastic! Great food, great service, very affordable prices, and friendly staff. No frills here, just good food made fast. They are attached to the gas station, which does have a separate men's and ladies restroom in it, for those who are interested. So far I've had their burgers, chicken sandwiches, ham & cheese sandwiches, chicken fried steak sandwich, chicken fried steak breakfast, breakfast burritos, and I've tried all of their handmade sides. Everything has been excellent! FYI- The chicken fried steak is fork tender. Didn't even need a knife. And it's not that chewy stringy mess that some places serve. You can customize your burgers/sandwiches however you want. I'm always adding different toppings. HIGHLY recommend coming here on your lunch break or for breakfast. You won't be disappointed. I have yet to find something here that I don't like. Everything here is homemade. You can even call in your order and come pick it up if you don't have time to stay. This place has gone SEVERELY down hill. I tried to give them the benefit out the doubt as I've been ordering from here for years. But the last 5 times the customer service is Horrible. Whoever the lady as the register is, she needs a new job. Almost every single time I order they're out of half of the meal, but yet they charge me full price. Best burger I have had in many a fortnight! This place also reaffirms my previous position on if something is attached to a gas station, you HAVE to check it out! The grill serves up food that reminds me of the old days...Back when yours truly was in college and would go to the old location of Colby's grill. Every time I eat here I think, "Maybe today is when I will try something new on the menu." Then when I go to order I just blurt out, "COWBOY BURGER PLEASE!" Yes yes yes, I will walk you through the entire burger so you can get to the station and order it so you can be a little more like me...Which I assume is your goal...For some reason. The patty is made with tons of TLC...the expression not the group. That would be weird. Anyways let's just Creep on shall we? The Onion Strings and BBQ sauce remind me of how lucky I am to be able to eat this burger at a place that has pride in their burgers! I don't want to go eat somewhere that doesn't care, after all, I don't want No Scrubs... Finally the Cowboy Burger has bacon on it! I know pretty much perfect right? I realize that perfect sounds too good to be true and that I shouldn't go chasing Waterfalls, but here we are... This is in my opinion the best burger in the Edmond area. I like the food there! My family and I have gone there several times for takeout. The help or owner or whoever the "lady" is needs to learn some manners though. My daughter and I went in there the other day to have breakfast together. A rare occasion since we don't live near each other. I placed our ordered with two male cooks, nice young gentlemen (I am old). My daughter and I got our drinks and picked a table to sit at. As my daughter and I sat there in the booth the "lady" brought our breakfast to us to go. Wrapped in a tied bag with to go boxes and everything. It made me sad that she, whatever her reason, didn't allow my daughter and I to have breakfast there together. Yes I could have and should have just sat there and opened our breakfast and ate it, but I've never been treated that way ever and I hope I never am again! The 2 stars is for the good good and nice young men. Lack of the other 3 is for that young lady's harsh staring and rude treatment and not letting my daughter and I enjoy a good breakfast together. read more

I've NEVER been disappointed with Colby's breakfasts or lunches! Always mouth-watering, lip-smacking good! My usuals are the Denver omelette (yum) and pancakes (double yum) and let's not forget those crispy hash browns! And then there are the fried onion cheeseburgers that are not drowning in onions, but just the right amount with a perfectly sized beef patty cooked to perfection, like the old time diners! The French fries that come with your burger are some of the best I've ever eaten! Don't sell yourself short, give them a try, you won't be disappointed except that they aren't open at dinner time!!!
