Not only was the diagnostic free, but he actually gave us a price estimate range before coming (no other company I contacted--and there were many, did both of those). When he arrived, the dishwasher appeared to be working after all, but Alex tested and retested. He also fixed the installation of the dishwasher that had not been done properly originally. And he kept on examining everything until he found the problem after all. I would certainly use Reparo again for our dishwasher or any other appliance in need of repair. Peter was very friendly and easy to talk to. He knows his stuff! After running an array of diagnostics and test cycles he determine the problem with my dishwasher was most likely a clog in the line which he cleared and tested before he left. He also advised that if the problem persists, it is most likely due to a failing pump but he encouraged me to test out the repair before we dove into purchasing replacement parts. Very Positive experience with Reparo !!!! Our 5-year old Washing Machine discharge pump stopped working in the middle of a wash cycle. Did a service request via yelp and Reparo answered immediately, and were available that day. Booked a service; and had a couple texts/emails from them to verify the Brand/model/etc of our machine so they could buy/bring appropriate part(s). Got a very reasonable quote when tech arrived after he tested the machine, and he quickly got to the bottom of the trouble - there was a large button and 2 other things blocking the pump inlet - I asked him to also replace the pump motor so it would be good for at least another 5 years. Reparo replied immediately and I was able to conveniently schedule an appointment online for the next morning. Peter arrived early and diagnosed the issue as a faulty compressor. He communicated clearly, providing a detailed and fair quote, and identified the parts that needed to be replaced. I called LG consumer service who advised that the parts were under warranty but it should be the licensed service company who should order them. Amazing service!!! My chest freezer stopped cooling around Christmas Eve and I reached out to Reparo. They sent someone on Christmas Day, which I was surprised since it was a holiday, but extremely grateful, nonetheless. Alex was my technician and he knows his stuff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. You can tell they respect people's time! Alex was communicative with when he would be arriving and lets you know what the issues are. Gives an estimate timeframe of when parts would arrive and how long the fixing would take. Since the part wouldn't come until a week later, Alex was able to rewire it and provide a temporary fix until the part needed was ordered and delivered. I messaged on Christmas Eve at 7am on Yelp and they responded within 20 minutes. Everyone else charges $65-69 to come out and give an estimate but if you don't take it, you lose the money. There is no charge for giving an estimate and you can refuse. Their estimate on examining the dryer was in the mid range of the online estimate and it's already open so why not just fix it. They were prompt professional and service was great and done on Christmas Day. Plus there are multiple discounts $10 for booking online, 10% off for new customers, and a discount to submit a Yelp review. This all makes it reasonably priced for professional immediate service on a holiday. Highly recommend! read more
